Pitch shifter missing?

Hello

I'm working with the pitch-shifter, but it is missing from the menu system.

It should be to Effects-> time and pitch PITCH SHIFTER

The problem is, he's not here.

The only thing he is "STRETCH AND PITCH (PROCESS)

Anyone know why or how to use shortcut keys to launch?

Thank you

Jim

It is not a separate AA CS5.5 Pitch-Shifter. What you see in the menu time and Pitch, that's all it is.

  • Multitrack editing live streams: pitch shift causes huge delay

    All,

For a live stream, I use a multi-to change a number of effects. Everything works very well. However, as soon as I add (even if it's the only effect) a Pitch Shift effect in the basket of the effect, there is a delay of 3 seconds between entry and exit. Is there a way to "fix" this return to the small delay of a few tenths of milliseconds, as happens when you use other effects? 3 seconds streaming live pretty much done behind impossible. Thank you.

    Help to the CC.

All real-time effects will present certain amount of latency, which is offset by the playback engine by a certain amount of flow of pre-treatment.  But changes to these effects with latencies more will take more time before the changes are audible if modified during playback.  You can take a listen to some free VSTs that can have an impact on the ground and can run more quickly to changes.   VST 4 FREE-Pitch Plug-ins is a good starting point.

  • Pitch Shift Audio live

I am interested in pitch shift audio live coming through a microphone.

Is this possible in AS3?  I see it's possible with the records, but I'm interested in audio production live in the audio input of the computer.

    Thanks for any input.

  • Field of audio tracks changed without pitch shift effect applied. How would I fix this?

I opened a voice on the project to discover that all the voices recorded were deeper, as if the effect of curvature of pitching has lowered the height of 2 semitones, even if there is no effect of moving field on the audio track.

I can't help thinking that this is a major bug or I have something clicked by mistake. The project was ready to pounce, and now I'm scratching my head completely perplexed trying to figure out how to fix it. I tried to delete the list of actions in the history of cancellation but that does not solve the pitching glitch.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

I don't know that I have followed completely. You recorded a voice-over and sounds good, but when you EXPORT it, it sounds lowest? Or it sounds more down in the logical session already?

The only reason why I can think of for such behavior is a sample rate mismatch. It happened to me once I opened another software, which defined the sampling frequency of 48 kHz, but my logical session was 44.1 kHz. Logical and got confused. Recorded everything with 48 kHz while thinking it was 44.1 kHz. So play 48 thousand samples per second with a speed of 44 thousand samples per second is the same effect as a slower band, it slows down. She makes audio a little more slowly and the ground drops. As slowly reduce the speed of a vinyl record. Maybe it's the case. At this point, I don't know what to do. I had this problem but I do not remember how I fixed it. I think that I tried to change the metadata of the file and replace where it says ' I am a file 44.1 kHz ' with 'no, I'm actually a 48 kHz' file. I think I used Apple for "compressor" if I'm not wrong, but I couldn't say it's time back.

Or, if everything sounds well in logic and exported just the audio sounds weird, then maybe the software that you play with, somehow has the bad example of fixed rate and plays the record with 44.1 kHz 48 kHz, resulting in the same effect.

    Hope I helped a little.

  • Prevention auto pitch shifting

    Hi all.

I recorded some guitar on a few tracks in a song, and now I would like to set the key of the song on the right key. There are currently on the default setting of C. When I change the key, I want to warn the guitars that I've already saved key also change.

I'm sure it's a really basic thing, but it was driving me crazy because I can't find the answer. Anyone can shed any light please?

Change the key of the project will not change your audio recordings.

  • How to change the Audio Pitch without changing the speed?

    Hello

I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and would like to know how

Increase or decrease the height of an audio file, without having to speed up

    or slow it down.

    Thank you!!

There is a pitch-shift effect in Premiere Pro CC 2014.  You can find it in the folder "Audio Effects' labeled 'PitchShifter '.  You don't need to use the hearing to this effect if you want...

  • True conversion

I am fairly new to Audition as a composer in the hope to use it for the sound design. I can't see how to make (one of the simplest and most used sound design functions) a conversion of non-time limited height. That is to say. during the conversion down time also slows down. I can see the conversion of the effects, but these are the correction of height rather than real transposition that is. time remains static. I want to plant a song one octave down (or up) and did not hear the artifacts, but to become a longer sound.

It's surprisingly hard to explain, but is very simple. Anyone able to help?

Don't want to get stuck at the first hurdle here. What did I miss?

Effects/Stretch and height, you must check the lock and Pitch Shift (Resample) box stretching so that, for example, reduce by half the height also double the length of the audio.

  • How can I change the speed of a track (just change of tempo, but in a way that affects the field)?

I would like to be able to reproduce (essentially) the function of this feature of Audacity:

Change of speed - Wiki of Audacity

In Audacity, when I use the "change of speed", it changes the record in a way to play a tape slower or faster than normal speed (where pitch moves parallel to the speed). Hearing seems to have some tools that modify the two pitch and time both - the closer, I found to what I want to accomplish is the tool of 'Stretch and Pitch', with the stretch and Pitch Shift locked - but the end result is much worse (or at least significantly different) than what I get from Audacity.

The goal with this must be able to set up a lesson on the interaction between frequency, height and time, and the problem I have is that it doesn't seem to be a solution in one simple step, in hearing to change an audio clip in the most basic ways. I'm afraid that I'm just missing where this feature can be, because it seems disconcerting that this operation is not really there. Any help is appreciated - thanks!

That would be the obvious effect to use. How are you trying to change the pitch and speed?

There is another method you can try to use the sampling frequency interpret in the Edit menu. Put in a sampling rate double that of the rate of your original file, will read at double speed and half the sampling rate will be read half speed etc. If you want to save the result in a new file, you will need to convert rates new sample to the original sampling to help convert the Type of sample.

  • Distortion of its VHS - hearing CS6

    Hello

I am trying to create sound effects VHS on a line of dialogue for a short but have no idea where to start.

The original audio track is neat and clean: recorded on a microphone of lapel Sennheisser with a Roland 26. I use Adobe CS6 for all work of post (edit, VFS, its editing and mixing).

I'm looking to get something like this video: https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=E0iMqdOqymA#t=1m20s

So a lot of distortion, disonnances, low - fi quality, non-linear in time. But, keep in mind that the effects are applied to a line of dialogue (which last 3 seconds); and not a piece of music as the video above.

My knowledge of his editing is quite limited, so I failed to get something really compelling... I used and twisted the Doppler effects, flanger and EQ Low - fi effects but not in a pretty good maner. And I'm probably missing other effects that could help sell the effects.

If you have an idea on how to pull it off, I'm all ears!

    Thank you

    Jonathan

The things that characterizes his VHS (well poor stuff) irregularities soft pitch caused by tread if slowly (these are usually released as flutter capstan), very little content higher than about 4 kHz HF (also directly attributable to the low running speed and linear audio), level compression and distortion of about 5%. Other than this lot, it was wonderful...

Three seconds of dialogue, the variations in the field will be not so important (less audible than with the music), but it might be interesting to try to program very small but fast pitch moves in hearing pitch-shifter. Experience reveals that, for speech, you would probably about 25 cents passage up and down, several times per second. You can program in the manual pitch shifter quite easily and even save as a preset. In 'special', you can add distortion - once more a small quantity to midway up one of the diagonals and set smoothing to taste. The speech volume leveler will handle the inevitable compression - once more, you have to program to the taste and the parametric equalizer let you thinning shears frequency response so that no HF passes through.

Yes, it'll take you some time, but when I looked at the price Audio Ease Speakerphone (it can't be worth what they charge, surely?), it's going to worth, I'd say.

    Hi JasonCasedy,

You use the audio enhancement features:
    1. Click Start and select Control Panel
    2. Select its
    3. Select your speakers and click Properties
    4. Go to the tab improvements
You should see a list of parameters that include the environment, cancellation of the voice, Pitch Shift, Equalizer, Virtual Surround, intensity Surround sound, and Loudness equalization.

  • How to change the frequency of tracks in multitrack session?

    Hello!

I have a question and hope you can help me!

I created a session of multtrack with 2 tracks. How can I change the frequency of them? I mean each track has a frequency of differrent and I use hearing CS6.

    Please help me!

    Thank you very much!

If by frequency you mean sampling frequency so you can edit the audio file by double-clicking on the item in the multitrack and then right click once you are in the edit mode and select 'convert sample type"and you can change to say 48 k say 44.1 k or something else.

If you mean, by frequency, pitch so you can do this by again taking the clip view editing and in the menu select Effects > time and Pitch > Pitch Shift

  • How to edit a recording of voice hearing

Have sought and experimented, have not been able to solve the problem.

Think informant, on some documentaries, the voice of informants is altered.

Have not found a way to do this.

Thanks in advance for any advice or ideas.

One way to do is to use the Pitch Shifting without altering the speed of the dialogue. Try the effects/time & Pitch/Pitch Shifter with parameters-4 semitones, accuracy and check use default parameters.

  • Navigate with the Multi-voie/wave Q and temporal window

    Hi all

    I have a few questions:

    1. when I enter a time code in my time window SMPTE 23.976 fps to navigate, it doesn't go to the timecode as I entered. i.e.

a 1002-> 41,18 entry. I see that if I get the colon it works correctly. Is there a setting I can change if I don't have to enter the colon? Also, is there a keyboard shortcut for me to be able to quickly enter a timecode?

    2. I want to Pitch Bend a clip I have in my multitrack. I would like to be able to open the clip in the track in the waveform of the multi - mode and have the waveform open only the part of the clip used in the multitrack session. This is so I can understand exactly where I am in the clip and time pitch curve. How can I do this? Essentially, I want to open the waveform and the clip outside what is currently in multiple ways.

    Thank you!

As Charles says if you double-click the clip in multitrack view, she must just open zoomed in to this part of the file in the waveform display. But make sure you have "Synchronize playhead etc and zoom level selection" option enabled in the preferences/general.

But I think that the suggestion that Charles to convert in single copy would be preferable because it would leave your original audio intact without pitch change if you need to return later to change anything.

The other option that might work for you, depending on how much bend you have to do is insert the Pitch Shifter in the effects Rack. Then, you can use Automation tracks to add keyframes on the envelope of Ratio to transpose to the pitch curve on the fly.

  • Hearing aid

Hey guys, my first post on the forums...

wondering if theres anyway to add effects on my voice to get it sounding similar to this:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=MwxjYFqP35A

    Thanks in advance

Yes, absolutely... but you'll have to experiment and play with a number of effects.  I've heard it's a combination of things... probably a pitch-shifter, delays and some reverb.  Some of the repeated words can be physically edited or they can play until they get a delay or a quite accurate echo.

The first thing to say is that you can make your editing is much easier by doing your best to imitate this kind of disturbing sound when you actually save the original voice.  You can change the height and add effects, but the original intonation is down from the advertiser.

Once you have your recording, some things to play with would be:

Effects/time and Pitch/Stretch and Pitch.  Start with the "lower Pitch" preset but play with the settings to see what you want.

Effects/Delay and Echo.  On the video link, some sound clips for me, like delay, others like the echo effects.  You'll just have to experiment and see what you like.  Don't forget a can apply the effect to every word... it doesn't have to be the entire file.

Effects/Reverb.  I would probably start with listening and the Studio Reverb vocal Reverb presets... but having one play with others and also experiment with changing the settings for things like early reflections.

Some of the clips sounded to me like they played with the phase a little.  Have a game in effects/Modulation/Phaser (or perhaps Flanger)

Finally, once you have a survey you want, you will probably need adjusting levels with effects/Amplitude and Compression and may normalize... or maybe even a compression.

Note that many of these effects are processor intensive to do real-time in a multitrack session - you will probably need to apply one after the other in wave form.  However, once you get the settings you like, don't forget that you can save them as Favorites in each of these effects.

    Good luck and have fun.

  • Audio setting from one clip to another

    Howdy.

I've been interested in getting a track (words of the person) to match the height or a melody of a song.

    Example of

(NSFW, for the words of Snoop Dogg)

All I can find is the pitching category, which did little but change by half a step. It doesn't seem something like what did other people.

Of that I asked the people who made these, they used Vegas. I don't know even where to start, what effect/filter to use or what it would be called.

Any step in the right direction would be useful

    Thank you!

So I'll answer now assuming that you have zero background music of production.  You use the term half-step, which means you may have music training, but forgive me if it seems too simplistic.  I have no idea of your abilities or skills.

I watched your video for example.  Video noise as they used a keyboard sampler to play the song.  It is beyond the capabilities of creation or the same hearing, most of the time.  (It would be possible, but not the practice.)

Here is an example of a simple sampler: Casio SK - 1 sampling - YouTube keyboard

The example that you have demonstrated uses the same audio clip played over and over again and pitch shifted upwards and downwards for melodic musical phrases of form.  It is usually created using samplers.  You could try to find simple online sampler/sequencer.  And example would be like this: sequencer online - make music online

The thing the closest you'll find in the hearing will probably be the effects > time and Pitch > manual Pitch Correction...

Manual pitch Correction is really more like a form of "Auto-tune", intended to modify the pitch of a note to adapt to a diatonic scale music.  The best example of what I think, you might be familiar with, are the "Auto-tune the News" videos a few years back.
