    Hello Marcin

In my opinion, you must be sure your laptop running fine and according to your assignment I do not here no problem.

So in your case you have problem with some additional equipment or third party software. Am I wrong? If there is a problem I see no reason to seek the solution with Toshiba. You should contact the manufacturers of all the devices and software that you use. They should have enough experience with own products and they should offer good support in troubleshooting.

  • External Usb Audio Card Popping and cracking sound with Satellite L500

    Greetings,

My name is Boyan and I am from Bulgaria, and a year ago, I bought a laptop satellite l500 series (I can't tell which is exactly the model at the moment because my computer is not currently with me and my user manual, the only thing that is said is that it is for L505/L500/L500D / L505D.) But from memory I think it was the Satellite L500D-ST5506 which is currently not at my dispossal, because I gave him for repairs for the same problem that I say down below)

The problem with my laptop, is that when I plug in a Usb Audio card in my laptop I have a crackling sound during live sound is played hollow map external speakers/headphones. I tried several sound cards and speakers/headpohnes which work perfectly well with other computers, including laptops, but the problem continues even when I use an external sound card to connect to the laptop not appearing in my laptop speakers/headphones.

The problem is important only when the signal passes through an external audio card and it is very disruptive since I use my laptop to create music and I bought a sound card expenssive and speakers that can not be used with the laptop. I tried 3 types of sound cards:

    M-Audio Fast Track Pro

    BEHRINGER uca 222

and a simple 3d audio usb audio card external and the problem persists.

At first, I thought that the problem is software and I should install the new drivers, windows 7 automatically recognizes and installs the drivers for the devices and I have its in (but with the cracks and educated) so I tried using the official drivers sold for me with the sound cards, but without success: the problem was still there. I tried to find the new drivers of the sound cards on long official distributors and I downloaded it but the problem was still there. Then I tried to delete all the audio drivers on my computer and just use the external sound card for sound but this eighter helps force. I updated my drivers for my sound card build - in as well but again - no luck.

After substantial thing frist I did when (2 weeks after I bought the laptop) was to contact the store where I bought my audio card and they said that the problem may be so eighter latency or high voltage of the laptop they advised me to try to reduce the latency of the parameters or to try and see if the problem persists if only my laptop running on battery power. I tried two things, and they did not help. Audio cards worked without problems on all the other computers I tried them but me. So they told me that the problem could not be audio cards.

What I then was that I gave my laptop for the Distributor official of toshiba in my country so that they can solve my problem. What they told me, is that a problem with the version of windows which was preinstalled on my laptop and it was not compitable with the sound cards (which was bizzar survey because I tried them on the same windows and they worked, only on other computers). So I'm back from my laptop and passed under my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system to Windows 7 Ultimate edition 64-bit and Windows 7 32-bit Ultimate edition on all versions, that's the problem: whenever I activate a low of passes of audio signal and Audio Usb card he heard cracks and educated. I even tried isntalling Windows XP, but the laptop want spesific SATA drivers for the Windows XP installation which although I found - they helped me install XP and I didn't go the BIOS of the computer to try to put a new and so on, because I'm not sure about that and I could lose my warranty so I said in the official repair shop for Toshiba in my city to put XP on my computer to solve the problem but they can't because they are not liscened to work with software that isn't a recipt for its purchase (which I did not because I bought my windows xp a long time ago and I lost the recipt)

I gave her to get it repaired for the second time by telling them that the change of my operating system has not solved my problem and what they were doing was they changed the motherboard on my computer, indicating that the build in the device realtek audio on my computer is good enough to support a card usb audio or it may be broken and they change the whole motherboard because the generation of card is stuck, so they did it, but my problem has not been resolved. They told me that although I use and map external audio usb signal always going trough my only internal and I have to disable so I tried to disable this trough Control Panel, but this does not solve the problem and I don't have a BIOS option to disable my sound card build-in. Another thing I thought that maybe the problem is that two audio cards do not work on the same bitrate and Hertz so I put both cards to 16 bit 48000 Hz DVD quality (also tried the other options on the 3 cards that I have) but it's the same thing.

They told me that it's just my luck and the construction of the sound card does not support this external sound cards and I would had been more careful when they choose to my laptop first.

I couldn't accept this awnser for several reasons:

    (1) this sound card works on a lower version of windows and are supported by many older models of Realtek and a lot of old computers (one of them bought 2000! and my laptop is of 2010!)

    (2) the guys who were the apperantley of fixing problem don't go so deeply into my problem because they didn't know that in fact the problem was that only they knew that there is a problem with the audio card and the computer interact with them, they knew not that it cracks during the direct play the external audio card.

    (3) I can't accept the fact that Toshiba is manufacturing of models with maps audio chipset that cannot support a simple external Usb Audio card. It is totally unacceptable to me, and I sincerely hope that this is not the case!

    (4) they have tried my audiocards on another laptop of the same series, claiming that they have not at their dispossal at the moment so I'll go tomorrow at a local store and try the sound cards by myself on the same computer in the store.

What I have now, it was that I gave my laptop for repair requesting a statement of the problem in wrtting with details of the problem so I can go to court or ask for a new laptop, but I'll be charged with little money because according to them there is no problem in the laptop and the problem is that my external sound cards are not compitable with the build in house chipset sound card. If I give my laptop for repair, and there is no hardware problem, I'll have to pay the money. I will do this, but I'm now crazy, because that does not solve my problem and I am wasting time and money.

What I ask here is, if you can not help me solve my problem and advice me what to do to fix it, please give me the details of the chipset built in Driver sound card on my motherboard, so I can check if it is compitable with my external sound cards and contact the dealers of the sound card to ask them their opinion. Or if you can tell me what it is compitable with and what not, that would be great. Personally, I think this laptop should have no problem at all with a simple external usb running sound card, but I ask you, if you know something more about it.

If a problem with the build in chipset then Toshiba is manufacturing (or at least sell) audiocards which are not in a normal standart but unfortunately I can not do nothing except complain to Toshiba and never treat whith such productgs more. Otherwise, if this is not true, then my laptop has a problem that is different and I have to go to court with the mans for mounting repair is not my laptop or do not give a new one when I guarantee will not fault of Toshiba and it will be in a way solve my problem.

I hope that you understand how important it is for me and I hope I have fix the problem as soon as possible.

    P.S

I want to say that I am familiar with grammar mistakes, that I did in the text below, and I would ask your excuses that I'm not a native speaker of English.

Hi, I would just say that I had a similar failure although I wouldn't be surprised if she causing of yours, but you never have knowledge, my fault was the lid of my laptop [9 months], it contains the mic and when the lid has been in a certain angle cracks could be heard worse when I got my external sound card all the time it happened, luck, PS, it's a defective membrane [lid to the body] easily missed by engineer because he was the same angle you English is very good

  • I have a problem with finding a PnP USB audio device when you search for available audio devices.

    Hello.

I am building an application that can find a PnP USB audio device and play a tone if the device is connected. I am able to search audio devices using "Sound Device Info.vi" of the lvsound2.llb that comes with labview.

The vi can find the USB device in good conditions, but there are problems - I'll try to describe 2 scenarios.

    1. the USB device is connected before 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

In this case, the program can find the USB device. If I unplug it, the device disappears from the list of found audio devices. If I reconnect to the same USB port, it reappears in the list. It's all good.

If I reconnect it however a new USB port, the device is not found. This is not good.

    2. the USB devices is not connected when 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

"Sound Device Info.vi" is not able to find the device. Disconnect and reconnect does not make a difference.

    I'm under labview 2012 on windows 7.

I am running the application as an exe to build.

I call 'Sound Device Info.vi' as a 'call for reference"and the reference is closed between calls to the vi. I was hoping this would unload the dll used in "Sound Device Info.vi" and would solve the problem, but it didn't.

Is there a way to reset the information usb labview during execution?

    Concerning

    Stephan.

    Hey Stephan.

The sounds screws require a DLL located in:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\resource\lvsound2.dll

Internally, LabVIEW uses the DirectX API to enumerate devices. The one caveat is that probe us for devices when loading the DLL. We probe not later. So that it works for Bluetooth, USB, fire wire, etc. devices that can be inserted or removed at any time, you control somehow when this DLL charge and discharge. To do this, please see the following document:

Dynamically that I can load and unload a DLL in LabVIEW?

  • The sound of some mp3 saturated in WMP11 when read by interface usb audio, but they play fine in iTunes

    Help, going crazy here!

With MP3 encoded at 320 kbps with 48 kHz sampling frequency, I get a terrible distortion when play on WMP11 on my MAudio Mobile Pre USB audio interface. When the MP3 is playing in WMP11 by the internal sound card and built-in Laptop speakers, that the sound is not distorted, except that he is from small tinny speakers. If you think that the Pre Mobile is the culprit, but...

I have the latest driver for MAudio and Mobile meadow has been installed correctly, I can play MP3s that are 320 kbps with sampling frequency of 44.1 KHz without problems through the external audio interface.

In addition, iTunes plays the same 320 kbps, 48 KHz MP3, out through the pre Mobile and they play very well, no distortion at all (?)

I've uninstalled and reinstalled WMP11 without success, downloaded codecs updated, tried to disable the throttling of the CPU and various other things with no results.

I look forward to use iTunes, because it is so slow, I'd like WMP11 to work with these 48 kHz mp3s and I have a bunch of them, so I really want to convert them to 44.1 Khz. Not only that, the deformation occurs also with a lot of video files (AVI), where I think the sound is coded in 48 kHz.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks Dennyinredding, that seemed to work and it is not SLOW as iTunes, thanks for the suggestion!

  • sound audio playback problem

    Hello!
I recently bought a laptop computer "TOSHIBA M30 model PSM33C-YSJOOE and I need help to solve a problem of sound.

Can you please help me solve the problem specified below:

When I use the microphone for audio chat on MSN Messenger, the other party does not do anything. I did the audio test of the sound card, and although the volume sliders move when I speak into the microphone, I hear no sound, as it should. I also tested the microphone on another computer and it works perfectly.

So I think it's maybe a newly purchased with the laptop sound problem. The real driver is: SigmaTel C-Major Audio, Version 6.14.1.3835.

When I go into the properties of the volume control, to the title of the Conference (read) the volume of the microphone control does not appear.

If anyone has a solution to this annoying problem, please answer. Thank you

    Hi mekama,.

checked the settings for audio devices Device Manager? Also, you should check the sounds and audio settings in the control panel because the Satellite M30 has a built-in microphone, maybe you must activate or change anywhere?

JJ you also UN - and reinstalled the audiodriver?

  • Laptop HP 6735 s problem USB Audio

Hi, I have a new laptop HP 6735 s and I'm having real problems do any external soundcards USB works correctly with the laptop. (Work cards fine on other laptops and desktop computers, the problem is only with this HP laptop).

I use the laptop for music production and its embedded card is obviously not standards so I use external, built cards for music production (ESI, Behringer, etc.).

The problem is that crackling / distortion on any audio / music which is played through USB ports. I tried all the usual advice (drivers updated, disable the card its edge w/lan, ethernet, etc.), but nothing makes any difference. I read elsewhere on the net that it is a common problem with new laptop HP being unable to work properly with USB audio devices or headphones.

Does anyone have an idea on a fix?

    Thanks in advance

This looks promising! How to install a new bios?

  • Dynadock - USB Audio broken broken kaput (white noise)

don't know what caused this, but I use a Dynadock until Monday USB audio was fine then it started making a sound crackling white. I thought was temporary as was just leaving work but in return today is to do the same thing. A bit of google leads me to think that this is not uncommon.

I reinstalled Dynadock software (latest version of the Toshiba site)
I reinstalled the sound drivers Conexant (latest version from the Toshiba site - but don't think it's the last according to update Vista - did I mention Vista?)  ;) and works fine
After a lot of research because it doesn't seem to be available on the Toshiba site I found a Driver and installed 106 C Media (which is what it was before), and the white noise is still there.

    I guess it's a Vista / driver issue?

Includes also means there is no way round without any system restore to a previous point and hope it goes away, then select each update
or wait for a new driver, but without knowing who owns or when it might be?

Is there an alternative? I use the cradle most of the time so it is a real pain in the rear.

Not a happy Bunny! Can anyone help please? What is someone having the same problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    t

    Hello Tim

Your ad is quite confusing, and I cannot understand what you did and wrote about all the audio drivers. In my opinion, you should own Dynadock installation and configuration.

Disconnect the Dynadock from the system and remove all the stuff pre-installed. Download Vista Dynadock Utility 2.3 c correctly. Follow the on-screen menu and please, do not interrupt utility installation.

Dynadock Utility will install all the stuff you need, and I hope that you will be able to reuse this nice external device. Of course, I hope that the sound will be OK again.

  • Satellite M40: USB Audio does not work properly in ACPI mode

    Hi all
I just bought a laptop Satellite M40 whose purpose is to be used as a portable audio system.
For this, the USB audio devices are an excellent solution.

Unfortunately, although it was working properly when recording (sound is perfect with all devices compatible USB Audio, I have tested), there is a problem in reading that I had a lot of clicks and POPs.

After a lot of research trying and google, I solved the problem by changing the computer ACPI PC Standard mode.
    This is a workaround.

But this way, I don't remember what my status of battery, and my laptop does not shut down automatically.
Actually, my laptop is no longer run as a laptop :(

I suspect a very serious problem in a Toshiba components management. In particular, I wouldn't be surprised to be told that freeze the cords of some regular system of court management, and therefore the 10ms buffers audio USB fall in against the recess.

This would be so much bother me if I were not part of the technical support team of the company that launches also a few new audio USB products who will not fail to work correctly with laptops.

    My question is:
Is there a driver / updating bios that gets rid of this problem?
If a person of Toshiba technical support to address this issue directly with me, I'd be happy to help, as I am personally and professionally concerned.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

I put t know what USB audio device you use, but most of the USB audio devices cannot use the USB power. These devices have need of an external power supply of A.C and especially this external power supplies are delivered with the USB audio device.

Also, I read on some sites that the pop occurs sometimes due to non synchronicity of the modules different buffers or / and of the use of certain applications in parallel.

The computer ACPI PC Standard mode change is one of the many solutions and proposals
You can check some patches from Microsoft. Check if all updates from Microsoft are installed.
Also change the performance options in the options of the system to adjust for best performance.
    Disable Windows messenger.
Virtual memory should be set to custom size and initial size and maximum size must has the same value (ie. 512/512)
In the system.ini should the vcache is also the same: MinFileCache = 16384, MaxFileCache = 16384
Disable the peripherals such as scanner, printer.

As you can see, these issues could occur on all computers (desktop and laptop) and it s is not a problem of Toshiba. Also, contact the manufacturer for support external audio device and detailed information.

    Good luck

  • XP loses the visibility of other machines on my network to "My Network Places" after plugging in USB audio dongle.

I have a XP Home Edition laptop with defective onboard sound, so I bought a sound card USB (dongle). Before using the dongle, I could still access the shared files on my other machines through "My Network Places" (NPM). However, when I plug the audio dongle (which uses the driver USB audio generic Microsoft) other machines on my network are accessible to only a few minutes, after which they are no longer visible through MNP. I can still map remote shared folders to a drive letter in Windows Explorer, and Internet access is not affected. Once the remote computers have disappeared from the NPM, they don't come back again after a reboot, or even after you use the System Restore tool to return to a State before that the dongle is connected. The only way I can get MNP working again is to restore the c: full since a backup of the image. (Fortunately, my personal files are in a separate drive of the Windows operating system partition.)

Apart from the use of the dongle, are there other ways to get the NPM in order to see the other machines on my network in a consistent way?

I don't have a solution to the problem of MNP, but I have a possible workaround.  To access another computer when MNP is not running, click Start > run , type the name of the computer in the box as shown below and click OK :

  • HP Pavilion HauppaugeWinTV HVR 1290 and Windows 7 - Audio stuttering problem

    Hi all

I have the WinTV HVR 1290 card installed in a new building.  Window7 Media Center does a great job, support the DVR functions.

I searched for the latest drivers that HP has on Windows7/64 Bit support.  The current problem is that the recovery of a sleep almost always ends with an Audio stuttering problem.  A reboot clears the stuttering.

HP probably has some drivers of Windows7 pre-release for sold third party hardware integrated into the Media Center PC.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you
