  I still own LR. This is the feature of development is really superb. Much better than any tool PP, I have used in the past.

  A gap that I find with LR, however, is its photo management tool.  I used ACDSee Picture Manager, among other things, in the past, the management of photo in ACDSee was really good and intuitive. The following functions have been really practical in ACDSee that I find missing in LR.

  Certainly, Lightroom is a photo management tool that compares well with ACDSee. There are probably advantages and disadvantages to each, but everything on your list is present in LR except display resolution (if by that you mean pixels per inch of the photo).

  But if you want LR to have the same flow of work/features/ease of use/etc, like ACDSee (or Bridge, Photoshop Elements or any other program), let's be honest, it's not. The programs work differently. You will need to learn the methods and mechanics of each program. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, and LR has a lot of 'pros' for its photo management tools.

  Creative Memories Photo Manager probably ejected your camera after you import the images. Check the default settings and change them if you prefer something different.

  If your camera is not displayed as ejection, it is safe to remove it. Damage to the file system wouldn't be possible, but not certain, if he had written active file or buffer not released when the device has been deleted.

  Hi, I am running Windows 7 on a relatively new computer (6 months) with a relatively new printer hp officejet 6500 also around the age of 6 months. Everything worked well, until about a week ago, when Picture Manager abruptly stopped, printing images. I need to print the thumbnails/contact sheet, but when I click on print, nothing happens. I checked, and the correct printer is selected. No printing problem all other programs (Word, Publisher, etc.) is of course not a problem with my printer. I even opened the photos in other MS photo viewers, but the same results when I try to print, because they seem to everyone use the same print window. I see that many other people seem to have the same question, and the only solution I found that worked was where someone downloaded a file more old printwiz.dll, (that I made from the provided link) but I don't have the slightest idea what to do with him because I'm not a geek (I mean that in the kindest terms!)   If you click on "Optimize storage", Photos will remove more original images, if you are running out of storage and replace with smaller optimized versions.

  It will be a dynamic process and take a long time.

  The fastest solution would be to move your photo library on an external drive, then remove it from your system disk. If you keep iCloud active library, you can still use iCloud photo library, if your external drive is connected, and you do the library on your external drive your system library.

  Or you can disable iCloud photo library on your Mac in ' Photos > Preferences > iCloud. Do not click on "Disable and remove" in system preferences > iCloud > Photos. The photos will remain in iCloud.

  Then don't use that the web interface for iCloud to www.icloud.com > Photos

  You must see what is available and choose those who can work for you.

  There is no best or overall image/photo-editing app.

  iPads are not a notebook computer replacement / full desktop again!

  It can take more measures or apps to do some different things that have been easier or more directly on a regular computer.

  iOS is not also fully recommended and robust as ordinary computer operating systems.
