  Odd. You use the tool move after you have made your choice? (Also make sure that the desired layer is active in the Panel layers, when you make your selection and move it.)

I did it with as2 and never solved the problem which I am sure is easy enough to solve. I remember someone saying something about levels.

  Looks like you need to add programming that 1) stores the x / y locations of the objects since they change 2) uses this information in position to position objects whenever you enter the picture that they are in.

  You should be able to create variables to store the information that is on a layer that extends from the complete timeline so that the data is stored as it is updated and you move along the timeline.  When you move the object update you its position data. Then, in the context where you have objects use you a simple coding to place objects using this position info... something as simple as...

  Object1.x = object1X;

  Object1.y = object1Y;

  If you are still using AS1/2 you would use _x and FLF instead of x and y

  I am a person very knowledgeable Photoshop/InDesign and Illustrator. I paste the pictures on the net in my doc of Illustrator, but when I do each time that it will either create a new layer, place the object in this layer and from there on after all new objects in this new layer even places. Only happens when I am pasting from somewhere outside of the Illustrator. Please help because it's put a damper on my work because now I have to remember to take all pasted objects on a certain layer... I use 9 layers.

  This problem may be caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.

  You can have some elements as inline in a text. Simple copy or cut the item (or even several grouped items) with the black arrow, place the text cursor in the row you want the item and Paste it. It will be by default acting as a character in the line, but if you select it again with the black arrow, you can set the options in the Panel wrap to break the text up, above and below the item, or even to leave text floating to the left or the right of the element.

  

  You can try to paste more complex items or same set of widgets online, but I wouldn't shoot...

  You can not. You need to build an infrastructure HTML that allows to your
  insertion point to place them where you want on the page.

  For example, if you want an image to 100px placed towards the bottom of the top of
  the 100px to the right of the left margin and page, you can do
  construction of an HTML table with a cell that falls exactly in this place. Then
  you would spend just the image in this cell.

  See - web authoring is not like using Microsoft Word, or an edition DT
  request. Unfortunately, you have to have some understanding of the
  HTML/CSS underlying to start working effectively.
