  BTW, you don't need to close the client. Simply click on a button to refresh (or F5 key).

• Actions - create new layer always give prompt

  I use Ilustrator CS5 and created an action that does the following:

  • Select all and copy an object
    
  • creates a new layer
  • pasta in places on the new layer
  • changes the color of the selected object
  • renames the layer with the color name that was used
  • repeats so I have 21 different layers, all with different colors

  Overall, it works very well. But, whenever it makes the new layer, I get a box of the new layer dialog box and I have to click 'ok '.  The action creates 20 different layers, I'd only not to click ok for each new layer.  Not sure why this dialog is coming because he doesn't when I record the action. Any ideas?

  In the actions Palette, disable the modal dialogue box on the left side of the action step that creates the new layer.

• With the Selection tool over new layer but becomes "the selected area is empty."

  I have been working on an image in PS and I have a number of layers.  First of all, several adjustment layers.  Then I do various clean ups (especially with the cloning tool).  I make a selection and then create a new layer.  I'm on one of the layers again, I made a selection to move a part of the image, hit command-J but this time I get the error message: "could not make a new layer from the selection because the selection is empty.  I understand the error but what would you suggest to go ahead?

  I imported an illustrator file that was created in Illustrator CC 18.0.0. The file contains the outline of a logo. This is the logo with the filling, set to none and the race set to 1px.

  I drag the file logo_strokes.ai to the composition, right-click and click on create vector shapes.

  A new layer is created and the content 'drop-down', a fill layer 1 is created.

  When I select "drop-down" content and click Add / trim paths, a layer of trim paths 1 is created.

  When I animate the Trim paths 1, it seems to animate the fill layer, not the race.

  How I managed to animate only the line and shows quite a filling?

  In illustrator, set align STROKE to the Center on each track you want to cut.

  Have a small problem and need your help:

  -J' have an AI with hundreds of items in there. All in a single layer.

  -There are two types of objects: blocks and textlayers (numbers). Each block has so a number on top it is.

  

  What I ultimately need is a new layer structure:

  -Each object + textlayer must be placed in a separate layer, AND that a new layer should be renamed the number which is within that layer. Like this:

  

  My first thought was to collect items from its position. For example: Position the text object can be placed at x and are coordinated from the block, but + 2mm for margin offset. What would be the point of recognition for the script to put in the separate layer.

  Or look for bunk objects and put them in a new layer.

  Also found something that can work with existing scripts if it can there have written an extra:

• I can't stop the Blob brush, create new layers, or painting on layers other than the one intended?

  I'm having trouble with the tool BLOB brush. I applied to a layer clipping mask, and I'm pain inside. If I paint touching the object in the layer it works fine, but if it doesn't touch or touches a layer above the I targeted that has the same color, then paint on a new layer, or on the top layer. Is it possible to disable this option? It's frustrating the dick out of me.

  Basically, it's how the blob Brush tool is supposed to work.

  What you could do:

  -isolate an object or a group existing, then paint.

  -block the other layers that you don't want painted.

Once this is completed, the user can then move these objects on a different domain, and the object will be created when the user has chosen. The user can then move another instance of objects on the area.

  You are probably better to address this step/one phase at a time.  First of all you need to do is decide how you want to store these pieces.  If they will not fileweight charges, probably have them as objects movieclip in the library.

  To dynamically load the Library objects, you use the attachMovie function.  So for starters you want to assign to each of these objects a link via a right click ID in the library.  So, when your file opens, you'll have a function that manages to put one of each item in a specific location.

  To drag items you use startDrag() when a mousedown event occurs with an object.  And a mouseup event occurs when use you stopDrag() to remove the object.  If you drag the object to an acceptable landing place (the lake or on the scene in general, and not off the stage), which you can view by using the property dropTarget, then you have a new of this particular item added from the library.  If the dropTarget is not acceptable, then you might have the room returned to where he started from (what you store in the room when planted).

  Who started this idea: write an extension of the user who search folders named with, say, an end concerns underscore and it marks as "hidden".  -As you point out - super massive static sites with a systematic labelling scheme, that would solve this problem with existing functionality.

  A quick check of the documentation of the API shows there is a function that will hide the element currently selected.   I wasn't able to quickly determine if it is possible to select compatible components of JavaScript in a way...   I'm not exactly a JS - Assistant DW extension and could be used for consultations with people who are.

  Which raises a different question: is there a forum Active for people who do this work?    I've been watching the subspace of the Dreamweaver Extensions.   With 11 posts so far this year and similar levels of display in previous years, it can hardly be qualified active.   Alternatives?

  I've dabbled in the manufacture of the extensions for Dreamweaver several years ago. It's not easy, that's why companies like DMXZone and WebAssist require much for their extensions. The Dreamweaver Extensions forum, as you have discovered, becomes almost no traffic because developing extensions is highly specialized, and there is a very small circle of people involved.

  Just take a look to the DW API, you should be able to select the files or folders in your site using the following:

  • site.getCurrentSite () - returns the name of the current site
  • site.getLocalRootURL () - takes the name of the site as an argument
  • Use standard JavaScript to loop through the site folders and create an array of those you want to select
  • site.setSelection () - takes an array of files or folders as an argument
  • site. Cloak (site)

  You could probably set it up as a menu item. For more details on the menu items, see Chapter 10 of http://help.adobe.com/en_US/dreamweaver/cs/extend/dreamweaver_cs5_extending.pdf

  To get an idea of how Dreamweaver manages concealment, take a look at Site_Cloaking.htm and Site_Cloaking.js. Under Windows, they are located at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC. 2014.1\configuration\Menus\MM on a Mac, they are going to be in a similar place in the Applications folder. The .htm file creates the menu option, while the .js file executes the masking operation.

  When Mike connects, he should see only these three dashboards. View of CF, commune data1, data2 common. When Smith connects, he should see only these three dashboards. Display accounts, common data1, commondata2.
  Commondata1 and commondata2 dashboards has joint reports for all departments. Other dashboards is particular department with all the different reports. How can I implement this?

  (1) create a catalog group and users partially RPD (Ex: Account_grp, HR_grp)
  (2) assign user to this particular group (say Ex: Account_grp = Smith and HR_grp = Mike)

  (3) login (username Admin) dashboard and---> gale dashboard page layout--> add users to this particular
