• I have a picture in the current folder that I can use to place the image on a page, but it is absent, if I try to hyperlink to it.  How to solve that?

  I use thimbnails which has a link to the expanded images.  I just loaded several file assets intothe images that I can then open and place the image on a page.  However, when I try to hyperlink to this image, the image is not listed in the assets.  Any ideas as to why and how to fix this?

• Place the graphic without white box around graph showing

  I need help for a newbe!

  I want to place a tiff image in a page ID that has a layer of color.  This is a tiff file I got the bottom of the transparent object using PS, however, when I import into ID, the leaves still tiff, a white background in the subject box.  Is it possible to get an object to be imported in ID without going through a square white box display.  That is, place an orange that is round without the box of an object in white and square?  In other words what I want to do, it's just the subject of the tiff without overlay tiff box.

  I found I have the ability to enable and disable certain features (Java, images, etc.) to help add on the toolbar of the image and we somehow got disabled so I have allowed and voila, FIXED. Add it on the toolbar can be found by view, and then click Add on the bar, if you do not see it on the bottom of your screen.

  I recommend you spend time here in the forum to read some threads about the reasons why you can't do
  More reason for this is that the Toshiba drivers are changed and configured for mobile use. Drivers of the graphics card manufacturer page are not configured for mobile use and lead to highest GPU temperature.

  But if you want to continue using these drivers, you can install it via the Device Manager:

  1. open Control Panel.

  2. in the upper left of the Control Panel dialog box, click the words 'Classic view' causes the control panel to switch to Classic view.

  3. double-click on the icon customization and - after the Customize dialog box is displayed - double-click the display settings option.

  4. click on the button Advanced settings of the display settings dialog box.

  5. to the map of the dialog box tab advanced settings, note the exact name of the adapter type that is currently in use. This can be important if you ever want to return to this driver.

  6. after jotting down the name of the existing adapter type, click Properties. If Windows asks you for permission, click on continue.

  7. click Driver tab, then click the Update Driver button.

  8. Windows will ask if you want to automatically search or search for a software driver. Choose the option "Browse my computer for driver software".

  9. in the next dialog box that appears, click on the option "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

  10. a list of video drivers will appear, and you must scroll to the bottom and select Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. Click next after making the selection.

  11. Once Windows indicates that it has updated the driver software, you can click Close or Ok many times that you should close all open dialogs of the control panel. If, during this process, Windows asks you if you want to restart your computer for the changes to take effect, click Yes.

• The graphic tape offset obscures data

  Im a beginner and can't get my stripchart to display data as a graphic of the band.

  Ive tinkered with graphic story length, sampling frequency, scale and others but the data seem to scroll to the end of the array and then my signal changes are no longer displayed.

  Place the graphic directly after the playback feature, and NOT after the built table.

  A chart has its own history buffer. You can adjust the size of the buffer (right-click... length of the graphic history...)

  I use Acrobat Pro XI.  When I click on the button 'Sign', I do not get the I need to sign, fill and sign the Signature Place Menu Options as I do using another computer in Acrobat Reader XI.  Why?  Or if not how to turn these practical options in Pro?  When I click on the button 'Sign' in Pro, I get 'sign with' Options of certificate... but nothing that would allow me to simply place the graphic signature as in Reader.

  My Satellite U300-14 b (VIsta 32 bit Home Premium, 2 GB) has a 'Mobile GM945 Express Chipset Intel'. Download from Toshiba site, says I've got the latest driver, namely 7.14.10.1263 dated 04/25/07.

  The Intel site lists their latest driver such as in date 7.14.10.1364 dated 11/12/07.

  I want to try the latest version of the driver to help solve a problem of occasional crash / restart when Vista wakes from sleep. I am told that the graphics drivers are often to blame and should therefore be updated.

  Can I safely updated with version 11/12/07, or I risk of problems? Not sure if Toshiba are just slow to release the updated driver, or if there is a better reason that they did not?

  Well, usually you can use the graphic driver directly from Intel page but I found several threads here in the forum that said that the chart non-Toshiba drivers can be installed and used only at your own risk

  Hmm perhaps this problem could be related to the graphics driver, but I recommend you to update to Vista and install all THE patches for Vista.

• 1 of the graphics on 1 of my favorite web page is no longer load.

  I visit this web page 1 or 2 times a week. The graph in the upper center is normally the last element to load. Then the message bottom left of my screen say 'done '.  This graph does not load on this computer more. The circle turns at the top of the page let me know that the page still loads. Five minutes later the graphics still has not loaded. Technical support on the site suggested that I update Adobe Flash Player at 10.2.159.1. I've updated the following: IE 9, Shockwave Player 11.5 and Player 9.4.3. The page still does not completely load on my desktop computer. Everything is the same thing on my laptop or on my desktop. When I go to the site on my laptop, it loads quickly. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
