  I use other api sites webcenter, with this library: com.fatwire.wem.api.rest 11.1.1.8.0, com.fatwire.wem - sso-api-case - 11.1.1.8.0, com.fatwire.wem - sso-api - 11.1.1.8.0 in an application of spring with the 3.2.10.RELEASE version. And it works very well! I make a list of the assets and all its attributes, but I need use this application with spring version 4.0.6.RELEASE, then when I update the version of spring the rest api that libraries do not work. It's the method that fails:

  SSOSession ssoSession is SSO. getSSOSession (baseUri);

  multiticket = ssoSession.getMultiTicket (username, password); -> Error LINE

  baseResource is baseResource.queryParam ("multiticket", multiticket);.

  This because the application cannot get a mutiticket. I use the same code and the same structure only changes the spring version. Oracle webcenter is updated with all the patches up to this date.

  Want to know if its possible to use HSQLDB on Sites Webcenter 11g? I want a lightweight DB for my development instance and won't go with DB2/Oracle/SQL Server. I tried with the following configs:

  Hi, Giulio.

  Looks like you have a question similar to that described in the document following km:

  -Web references not working for the new Site (Doc ID 1968290.1)

  However, Sites 12.2.1, instead of update the Web.XML to include extra prefixes for the parameter the URLRewriteFilter SitePrefix, I think you should update the property site.prefix to the WebCenter Sites (by default, it includes the prefixes fsii, avi, samples.

  You should be able to do this via the property management tool.  A reboot may be necessary.

  Especially if you know the basic stuff like the feature of tables in database system, ACLs, roles, users, family and fine, use Active basic Flex, presentation edition, what are the useful attribute in the tag sites as rendering webcenter: calltemplate, insite: calltemplate, but you should know some of the important tags that is majorly in WCS and caching strategies , Advanced type interface UI, UI contributor, WEM UI, feature Gadget of the community, how to search engine works in WCS and little more. But if you work around all these surely you will erase the certification of sites 11.1.1.8 webcenter.

  One of the requirements is that the news FEED are published content. This feature is available out of the box to WebCenter Sites or is - this something reuires a custom implementation.

  We also had the same requirement as yours where rss wss by using content of WCS. We had set up something custom to achieve this.

  You can do the following:

  1. determine what type of assets will be used to generate RSS feeds and which attributes.

  2. create CSElement which will retrieve the desired asset content type and the output of this element must be in the form of XML RSS.

  3. entry of site create and associate the cselement above. Make this entry of site as a wrapper so that it can be called via a browser. Also add the parameter

  CS. ContentType

  : text/xml

  in site entry that says browser the output of this element will be XML.

  After that, you can now call this entry Site via a browser as www.example.com/cs/Satellite?pagename=

  Recently, I installed WebCenter Sites on a linux VM using WebLogic server and Oracle DB.

  I am successfully able to run WebCenter Sites UI.

  Now, I try to install Capture of Site. I'm following Oracle Setup Guide for the Capture of Site Application.

  I have created a Manager server on the same VM weblogic (on which I had installed WCS), created a data source maps to this new data source.

  Then, I deployed the ROOT of the Site of Capture on the weblogic application, setting the goal as the new managed server that I created above.

  Then I tried to start the managed server, but I got following error:

  Before you start the managed server, you run the crawler_oracle_db.sql script located under the/Sql- Scripts folder?

  This script should create the necessary tables in Site of Capture of database:

  -FW_SC_ARCHIVE

  -FW_SC_JOBS

  I installed spaces webcenter and UCM separately and the created i field with spaces and ucm .able to access all services in webcenter/UCM (login).

  This err =-22 means that the table already exists. You have a failed the earlier installation? If so, you must delete all tables that have been created before restarting the installation.

  If you have no prior install, make sure that you install on a new scheme, and the database user doesn't have access to any other schemes that already exist in the same database.

  You try to change in Insite or in form view?

  In form view, you can use attribute editors.

  Insite mode, you cannot change a string before saving it because there are no editors to attribute to this mode of contribution.

  The only solution that I know, and I do not recommend it because it is so complex and difficult to maintain, is to simulate human interaction in jQuery: I mean, focus, unfocus, replacing the string and save. As I said... too difficult, from my point of view.

  Hey Tobi,

  first of all, I'm afraid that you are walking on a path not often trod before, if ever. Thus, the results are not guaranteed.

  Nevertheless, the idea is not to create "a portal application Webcenter different", but rather to create an application which is time portal application WebCenter and SSXA. I guess you're probably familiar with creating a WebCenter portal application (if not, here is a good starting point: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/webcenter.1111/e10273/toc.htm) now, to make it as a SSXA app, you need to add SSXA (Site Studio) as an additional project technology (see figure 3-5 http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/webcenter.1111/e10273/createapp.htm#CCHEGDIC).

  What could go wrong? I read somewhere that Ctrl - Shift - C (enter in the mode of the employee) does not work well in the WebCenter portal applications (assumptions were that there were a few javascript conflicts). Personally, I don't see why the fragments should not work, but you won't know until you try.

  If the way above fails, you will need to "Pack" fragments of a top-level object (model of the region, or even a region), that should be OK.

  "Each resource created in Sites WebCenter is assigned a unique local identifier. Local identifier of the resource is unique only in the instance of WebCenter Sites where it was created. Multiple instances of Sites WebCenter will be used to create resources, it is possible for two different resources, on separate instances of Sites WebCenter, to have the same local identifier... To identify the resources, the developer tool kit assigns to each resource a unique global identifier (fw_uid), which is unique in all instances of Sites WebCenter"
