    Hello

I changed the name of the application in the config.xml file in the www folder. But when I reinstall the application again, the application name does not change. Thank you.

    Hello

It is a known issue with version beta. The name and the icon is changed in the file of the bar, but persists on the device. If you have to deploy the same file on another device appears the correct name.

The solution is to change the code of the widget as well.

This will be fixed in the Gold release.

  • Failed to create the application (first) Workbench ("failed to create the application, check if the application name contains an invalid string).

Connection to the local server to Livecycle (ss4 trial) works, set up normally - 1.0 repository service provider service provider is "RepositoryProviderService".

Error message is ambiguous and the issue is certainly not with the name of the application. This is a new installation, so this may be a common pitfall with installation or configuration.

Thanks Aditaya. I didn't know the DesignTimeService. There is no problem, and I had already checked the other parameters.

Looking at the logs it turns out that the JVM memory failed. Increase the memory solved the problem.

  • The application name and SQL/EM

Is there a way to ensure that when a user accesses data in SQL via a CF model, the name of the application in Application.cfm is displayed as part of a query of sp_who? It would be similar to the use of the applicationName attribute in a Web.config of ASP.Net.

    I found an answer to this question which only works in CF4.5 and 5. In the CFQUERY, CFSTOREDPROC, CFINSERT, CFUPDATE and CFGRIDUPDATE tag, you can use the string connectString = attribute to pass the name of the application to MS SQLEM. The syntax looks like connectString = 'APP = Weborders';

Unfortunately, this attribute is deprecated in superior to 5.x versions and is a known bug in the CF ADMIN to sources of data in MX7.

  • Is there a way to remove the ToolTip that contains the name of the application when the cursor over the icon in the dock?

Since the upgrade to El Capitan, I noticed that the name of each application in the dock appears above the docking station in a bubble of large text when the cursor is everywhere down in the dock next to this icon of the application.  It's annoying because if I'm often pass between two or several applications, I don't want to have to keep moving the slider to the top of the screen to get the text balloons to disappear.  When the application names are present, they cover part of the screen of the app that I work.  Not sure if I remember correctly, but I thought that those who went after a period of time in older versions of OS.  I was never bothered by it as I am with El Capitan.

    Thank you all.

Not that I am aware, no.  There is nothing in the system preferences-> Dock that allows you to disable or remove this function.

  • El Capitan: Cannot open the application "app name" because it may be damaged or incomplete

Came across this several times. After you initially upgrade to El Capitan 10.11.2, after logging into my main account (admin), I was not able to open applications and received the following error:

"Cannot open the application name"app"because it may be damaged or incomplete."

I couldn't open "Activity Monitor", "System Preferences", "Finder" or anything (provided, App Store or other system). The icons will revert to the default application icon. Other users have no problem with the same apps.

After the panic, I found a solution: go to another admin account, delete the old user account, and then add it again. This version corrects the problem of this user; It apparently rebuilt the user for that user identity information, while leaving their home folder (and preferences, documents, key rings, etc.) only. iCloud information must be re-entered, but it is trivial. Once the user delete and add, I was able to run these applications.

When I upgraded to 10.11.3, it is the same thing, but to 3 accounts. I managed to solve this problem through the guest account - that is, I was still able to authenticate as an administrator, but I could not open a session and run anything.

El Capitan removed permissions repair; I think it can be done in the recovery console, but I shouldn't do that.

No idea why this continues to be?

Generally to searching for the above error message is specific to applications from the App Store or other, not about things like "Activity Monitor" and "System Preferences."

    You now have this problem?

  • Name of the application

    This is my first post!

I do an install OTA from my application and the Applications name as the name of the project in Eclipse.  The seller, description, and version are all correctly.

I put the name by using the project properties in Eclipse.

    Any help would be great.

I just changed the MIDlet-Name in the jad file, and it solved my problem.  Is there a better way to deal with it through the project in Eclipse?

  • ADF: Change of name of the application

    Hello world

    I use Jdev 11 G.

I developed an ADF application with 7 pages.
the application name is "KumarAppliaction", then the url that is generated after deployment includes the name of the application "KumarAppliaction".
But now my client wants me to change the name of the application to "DevelopedApplication".
    How can I achieve this?

In the properties of the application, there is an option called change of name request, so I've renamed my request to "DevelopedApplication" and
then I deployed again my request but
the name of the application in the url is always "KumarAppliaction".

    whatelse I have to change?

Please let me know one of your valuable suggestions.

    Thank you.

  • Disable the App name on turnover in the Dock

    Hello

I want to disable the application name, that I am currently flipping in the dock to display, I can do this? Don't really understand why I need the name of the icon to display an icon is used instead of words to identify something. Always seems quite a design UN-Apple! My problem is the displayed text bubble goes through my cursor on the command line and I have to move the mouse on the icon, minor I know, but would be nice to see if anyone knows if this can go now =)

    Help much appreciated,

  • OTA - Application name Blackberry Curve 8520 gets cut.

On the downloading application page (with 'Download' & 'Cancel' buttons)on

Thanks for posting of the JAD file example.  I was able to reproduce this.  I don't have a work around to provide a version 4.6.1.  However, this problem has been resolved in BlackBerry device software version 5.0.

  • replace the evaluation version of the application

    Hello

Is there a method for my App_A, when installed, replace or remove App_B?  Assuming that the application names are different and different applications.

    I'm missing something here...

CodeModuleManager.getModuleHandles (), will give you a list of the module handles (Int'l table).

CodeModuleManager.getModuleName (int) for each of the ints returned in the previous list, will give you the name of the module.

CodeModuleManager.getApplicationDescriptors (int) you will get ads.

    Isn't what you want?

  • myIdName and different application.name?

    Hello

How is it that, in the application.cfc file, the myIdName and the application.name are different?

MyIdName should not be inherited by the application? Isn't this confusion?

    Thanks for the clarification

If I remember correctly, you use myIdName to set the name of your application in Application.cfc and Application.applicationName to read in other files. Application.Name is just a variable that you created in the scope of Application.

  • Plan planning and the application of the restrictions of type name name?

Can a type of plan cause the same name as the name of the planning application? I know it can in essbase, wasn't sure about planning. Also, are there reserved names in the measure in the plan of types\application names? i.e. I can cite my custom application WrkForce, considering that it is the same name as hyperion uses to plan effective module type?

    Thank you

Yes you can call it with the same name, there are some restrictions highlighted in the doc of admin who, as associated with essbase - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/hp_admin/apbs01.html

  • Load the bracket & name duplicated in the Alias of the planning

Is there a way to keep the brackets in the name of alias and some members even alias name from the name of the Member in a planning on 11.1.2.3 application version.

You don't need to load an alias that is the same name as the Member, he'll be looking for the name of the Member if you select alias.

Planning will not accept a member name/alias that is the same for you simply load the name of the Member.

You should be able to have the 'Member (name)' format for an alias for not '(name)..' cannot start a member/alias with)
