  It looks like the Windows media player is in Mini Player mode.

  Mini Player mode allows you to minimize the player to the Windows task bar, while having access to playback controls and the ability to view visualizations and information about the currently playing item.

  In the mini Player, click anywhere in the drive that is not used as a button or volume control. The Player returns to the way it was before.

The album I bought appears in iTunes on my PC with 10 songs visible and works properly, however, when I went to play in Windows Media Player, a songs is not present, the other 9 were visible and works correctly.   Sorry - my fault - I missed a step! You must first change your rip settings in iTunes (it uses the rip parameter to create new versions too)

  Open iTunes player..., albums lh corner select edition - preferences and on the 'general' tab, you will see (cd) import settings - select then in the menu drop-down superior encoder mp3... you must then define the quality in the next drop - I go to/128mono-256 (stereo) custom which is the equivalent of many downloads, as shown highlighted in the snip. Select and click OK... You may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect and then you will get the option "create mp3 version". I hope that now you can go! -CIR

  I have Windows Vista with Windows Media Center (which I LOVE!) through this huge dish on our House, but we had a big thunderstorm last week. Since then, I have been unable to get most of the channels to watch TV via Windows Media Center. I know that it is not a problem with my antenna because if I choose to watch TV directly through the air and not through Windows Media Center, I receive channels without problem.   Just a guess here, I don't have a tuner currently in my computer. But is there an option in media center to perform a channel SCAN. On my TV, I had a similar problem and all I had to do was rescan and VIOLA all my channels were back!

  Your MP3 player should have 2 settings - MSC that should allow the player to be used as a
  external drive and PSG that is the parameter to use to sync with WMP11. Remove the MP3
  and restart the computer. Change the MP3 in MTP mode - it power off and plug it in.
