Please help me: problem hard charting to Apex 4

Hi guys, it's me again!

I'm having a hard time creating a chart in the apex oracle 4.0. I wish it were a graphic flash with a trendline.

The trend line is not very important right now, my problem is in the construction of the SQL query to generate this table. I'm wondeing if you could help.

A quick overview of what it is supposed to do: children in a school to pass the exams for different academic courses. A student could write multiple reviews for the same course. Each of these reviews may contain one or several "Sections" (think of the Section A, Section B, etc.). Each section has its own amount of 'points' that contributes to the maximum overall score of the review. Pretty simple. Now the total scores of these reviews are all added to make a maximum score in a whole topic. Performance of the student in each course must be represented on the Board in a series, while the average score for an entire class is represented in another series. This bar graph to compare the overall performance of the student with the average performance of her entire class.

Simply put, I ask the creating a chart bars flash that compares the maximum scores for each course with another. Once I know how to do this, it is pretty easy to figure out the rest. Now to explain my structure of database in detail:

The course called "mathematics degree" for example, are stored in a table named COURSE. Its title is stored in a field called "COURSETITLE. The primary key of the table RACE is called "COURSEID".

Each course can be delivered to several groups of class at a time. To manage this relationship, I have a table called COURSEOFFERING that allows to record multiple instances of the same class, each instance being delivered to another group of students. The primary key of the table COURSEOFFERING is called 'COLD '.

A review takes place in what concerns a COURSEOFFERING (and not a course, as a group of classes do not have to write the same examinations as the other class includes will). Exams are stored in a table called REVIEW. The primary key of the table is 'EXID. Of course, there is a foreign key called 'COLD' that references the primary key of the table COURSEOFFERING.

Now each review contains sections. These sections have their maximum point scores. The primary key of the table of SECTIONS is called 'SECID '. The field that stores the value of point of each section is called 'POINTS '.

So if we have for example a review on "Mathematics in Cambridge" which is given to the class of Grade a pretty good mention, and it contains the Section has a value of 20 points and Section b which is worth 30 points, you have a review that is worth 50 points. If another review as it is worth 100 points when you add up the value of its sections, the maximum possible in mathematics from Cambridge to the honours class rank is 150. Similarly, the Grade One Special Ed class can have a different maximum possible score, according to reviews that they write to you.

I created a function compiled successfully, and it DOES not work with the data (I tried to do a region of PL/SQL out of it and the display of some of the results). It returns the maximum value that is possible on a subject that takes in the ID of the COURSEOFFERING table as an argument which is titled v_coid. I don't know how to make a chart that shows the result of this function from the TITLE of the COURSE offered.

Note that the l_cotitle stores the title of the course, these marks are for. It is not returned, or printed or anything in this function, but I need that she either label X for each result in the series.

Yes, the 'function of PL/SQL returning a SQL command' can be used to produce this type of query (or practically any other type, as long as the PL/SQL function returns valid SQL). I tend to limit the use of the "functions of PL/SQL that return requests" to the reports and charts that really need, which usually means a situation where the query must be built dynamically.

Please help, audio problem with XW6600 and NVS 315

Greetings:

I just buy a renovated, XW6600 Xeon dual processor, 8 GB of RAM, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit system. The PC comes with a nVidia NVS 290 graphics card. Everything works fine and the speaker in the motherboard Jack produces sounds. However, when I change the NVS 290 with a NVS 315 (it is a HP 720837-001 replacement part), the sound stops working. The speaker in the systray icon has a red circle with an "x" in it. If I right click on the speaker, the playback device, it shows two TV as icon one above the other with a red arrow pointing down and a description on the righ side saying "Digital Audio (HDMI) high definition Audio Device not connected.   I have the same result in 64-bit Windows 8.1.  The problem is resolved, if I reinstall the NVS 290.  For both cards, I use the latest version of the nVidia Driver and driver HP. Am I missing something?

Any help to solve this problem is greatly appreciated.

First of all, you want to be sure to load the latest version of the BIOS on this xw6600. It is from the end of 2012.

I met this problem several times... do not know if these suggestions will help, but I think that your experience may be related to previous losses audio when the latest drivers are loaded that contain "pilot high-resolution audio" in the game of video driver.

The current Quadro NVS 315 W7 64 bit graphics drivers Quadro ODE 320.92, which work well in my xw6400, xw6600 and xw8400 workstations running several types of cards Quadro FX and NVS. If you have used the standard installer downloaded and used the standard "recommended" install that he threw into about 5 pieces, that only one you really need (selected by default single main driver in a custom installation). That's all I use now, throughout my nVidia installs, and I also check the clean install box on the last page before loading begins in the custom installation path that I go down. One of the elements that was installed in the "recommended" non-custom installation was a driver of nVidia high-resolution audio. This seems to conflict with / replace the RealTek driver who was using your audio RealTek chipset on the motherboard. I discovered that there is a part of BIOS for those workstations which is usually hidden, but sometimes becomes visible with installing drivers high-resolution audio.  F10 in the BIOS, go to the Advanced tab, down for the terminal Options and check if rebalanced Audio appears just above monitor follow-up. If he was not hidden by the nVidia high-resolution audio driver load then it will virtually always disable status. Change to activate, F10 to save the change and BIOS don't forget to save changes on exit and F10 again when BIOS asks.

We got exactly that occur as a result of installing the drivers nVidia GeForce to a GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST on a xw8400 and I saw that happen with these latest nVidia Quadro driver packages, too.

This is the second best method to solve the problem, if it works.

Another approach is to save your current BIOS settings via replicated in the BIOS Setup, load into my settings to clone xw6600 (attached) and see if the sound comes back like that. Sometimes integrated Audio remains hidden when we F10 in the BIOS, but my clone settings was set correctly even though the option remains hidden. You can open the attached CPQSETUP. TXT file with Notepad and Find allows you to do a search for "audio"... the second shot will be the Audio integrated, one. Note that it is configured to allow this clone... He usually lies in a status of disable, otherwise.

I tried several options to try to solve my problem, but it is not good. I have an external hard drive Seagate 2 to. I used it for about 6 months, but one day it just does not appear in the Finder more. I checked in disk utility and it shows up there, but it is labeled as "Uninitialized 2 TB Windows NT specifien". It will work unless you use HP Recovery Discs to install Windows. For those who use the hard disk must be at least as large a capacity. A retail disk can be used on the ssd.

But I'm at the point where I say "I wanted I had saved the old Version of the WLE who worked great." Just to give you a clue, which hopefully will help me can govern this list I've done on:

1. search and read questions from other people who were identical and followed step by step, when I received him seemed to be more common error Code. I forgot to record the show and then, think it is free I'll get it online but it has been updated and I need help which is much smarter than me, I will not STOP until I know what and why. Hmm. check that you can start the Windows Installer service and it is enabled.
1. Click Start > run...
2. Type cmd /K net start MSIServer
3. Press enter and monitor messages in the window of the console open.
If the service is started successfully, then download the offline version of the WLE from here and try to install it. Select all items to install because they are dependent on each other.
Download the new log file, if it fails to install again.

copied and pasted this information of view problem history in Control Panel and it was the biggest mistake, what happened is that the PC I use suddenly gets a blue screen with big writings saying something like she stops by unexpected error. Think the drivers - do all.

Could be a nuisance pilot. Update your drivers manually looking at system manufacturer and
Sites of the manufacturer of the device.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.
