• Installation of photoshop elements Associates/changed all the files on the computer for photoshop elements files

  I bought Photoshop Elements for my mother while hospitality during Thanksgiving. When I installed it on his computer, it changed all the files on his computer for photoshop elements files, or rather, it combined all the files in photoshop elements. I don't know that it is an operating system problem. Can someone tell me why this is happening and give me a cure? It uses Windows 7. It is a 64-bit computer, if it's important.

• Optimization of computer for Photoshop

  I am considering buying a new desktop computer specifically for use of Photoshop CC and want to optimize for performance.  I had a few questions in this regard:

  (1) the "white paper" on optimizing the performance of Adobe indicates that if your drive is a SSD that there is no advantage to place your work on another hard drive or SSD disk. If this is the case, the performance to make a specific volume with its own drive letter to the primary disk for scratch or can you just let him do his own thing on the C drive, with no other intervention

  (2) at - there a lot of improvement from 4 core processors to 6 hearts at the same frequency of treatment.

  IMO there no reason to partition disk these days then another recovery partition.  It make more sense to do more big volume by using Raid 0 than stripes data between devices.

  Photoshop does multi thread a lot, but some processes do not lend themselves to do in parallel because they are sequential by nature.  Thus, you will see improved performance in batch processing and filters as smart sharpening.  Photoshop is an interactive application that requires interaction user most of the time that your CPU will do anything when you use Photoshop.

  When I google plug-ins, I get a bunch of plug-ins sites, but these won't work for PSE8?  Also, how do I save plug-ins?  Should I just move to a different folder?  Sorry, I'm new to this.

  Helli, new to this. Can someone tell me what are the minimum technical specifications for this software. I currently use it on a MacBook Pro with speed 667 mhz ram, and it's a little slow.

  Aare ensure you that the memory speed is not a factor? I have the latest LR and PS on two PBS and we have the slowest RAM 667 MHz and the other, 1066 mhz and faster ram runs much smoother. Maybe that's my perception, who knows.

  You cannot install the latest version of Camera Raw in Photoshop CS4. The latest version of Camera Raw that is compatible with this version of Photoshop is version 5.7. If you need a newer version in order to have the support of a new camera, you will need to upgrade your Photoshop, or even use the DNG Converter free to create DNG copies that are compatible with your version of Camera Raw.

  I just found this today that allowed me to install a plug-in for Photoshop CC 2015:

  Install it, run it, and then drag your file zxp the indicated place. Voila! Extensions to work Photoshop CC 2015!

• Win 7/CS5 cannot install for Photoshop Pixelbender

  Asked me to start a thread flavor Win7 on my inability to install PixelBender for Photoshop CS 5.

  There are currently two installation programs: one for Photoshop 5 and one for Photoshop 5.1.

  These two don't. '5' Installer said whatever something enigmatic about '12' version is necessary, and the other said something enigmatic about "12.1" being necessary.

  My version of Photoshop is to12.0.4.

  The Pixelbender team asked me to explain why I am no longer under my installed version of Pixelbender. The answer is that I've migrated to a more powerful machine to Win 7 and had to install again.

  I was able to install the Pixel Bender plug-in for Photoshop CS5 64-bit in Photoshop 12.0.4 carefree on Win7 (64 bit). Have you tried the Extension Manager CS5 executable running as administrator?

  You don't need a plug-in for corner of page.  A plug-in contains no magic, just a bunch of things you can do yourself.

  On the web search page curl photoshop.  There are procedures step by step to show you how it's done.

• Added plugin Noiseware for Photoshop - Lightroom can do the same?

  I just bought a new Canon 7 d camera, which gives the possibility for the high ISO up to 64000. Even at ISO 800, this device seems to be giving me a lot of visible noise I have to zoom to the image in Lightroom. I bought the plug-in for Photoshop called Noiseware Pro that really seems to do the trick, smooth out noise and keeping detail.

  The question I have is: Noiseware has controls for the luminescence and others that resemble the same controls available in Lightroom. Noiseware seems to give the right setting automatically depending on the image, at least, gives a good starting point, but my question: is is possible to get the same results in Lightroom? I think it is, but it seems also to require more violin I can gather where Noiseware strike just the brand and I'm good to go.

  I am the consultant senior product manager and engineer test for Imagenomic, the creators of Noiseware and after reading your post, I thought I would like to speak a few snippets of wisdom for you.

  While Noiseware has similar to Lightroom named cursors, actual usage varies on the content of the image. Each image has its own unique noise signature and thus inherently implementation of Noiseware cursor it takes indeed.

  As to achieve the same results in Lightroom, most all programs of noise reduction, especially the top commercial, will allow a much more dynamic range of control and therefore better results. Even out of the box default controls will usually whip LR warp major. So far LR3 beta is has not impressed me all about his color reduction (although different from V2) and the odd exclusion of controlling luma is a flag for me as the brewing of the two values, luma and chroma, is where the problems arise in the world of noise reduction. The jury is always on the final results to the final however.

  Adobe has decided not to give developers of plugins a true path in the "non-destructive editing" which is one of the hypes marketing major Lightroom, so we are all stuck with output to a separate first, file that adds another image and step in the workflow process. Ideally, plugins would fit into the tabs of module to develop and enable the preview of the results in real-time. As it is now, we must use a stand-alone executable (PC) or app (Mac) to get a feature that goes against the workflow "to non-destructive editing.

  Also, as a final note, you can run the plugin Noiseware via Photoshop from Lightroom using droplets in. The droplets are available here as well as a video tutorial showing how to implement:
