  I work with work lamp Studio, which is an Eclipse Plugin, so after I build the project buffer/polisher, buffer/polisher build a Webworks project for me, but I am not able to run or install the application on a device. So what I do is that I have create a new project of Webworks and copy can HTML, CSS, JS files to the www folder and I run the project using web webworks SDK.

  I used Visual Studio for WebWorks plugin, but now that I see that it will not be supported after the 31st, I wanted to switch to the Eclipse plugin.

  However, I can't find the download for the Eclipse plugin.  Anyone know where I can download it from?

  Unfortunately, I think that the plugin Eclipse also is no longer supported. In its place, you will need to download the emulator to ripple by https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/html5/download

  Most of the API is supported, but not all of them so you'll need to make your major tests in the Simulator or device.

  one thing that I stumbled upon: If you create a project of IMP - NG, plugins Eclipse ME generate a wrong value for microedition profile. They write ' IMP - NG - 2.0 ", that the correct value is 'IMP - NG". If you run the project with an incorrect value, you simply no reaction. If you open the log console or the emulator device, you will see an exception:
  java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
  -com.sun.midp.installer.Version.initFromComponents (), bci = 149
  - ...
  
  Simply remove the "-2.0" in the text of the application descriptor Editor.

  It's problem of MTJ plugin on that we are based. It cannot be fixed on the side of ME SDK, but you can use after the workaround:

  1. go in the Application descriptor > tab Application descriptor
  2. change manually:
  Microedition-profile: IMP - NG - 2.0
  TO
  Microedition-profile: IMP - NG
  3. save the application descriptor

  As you have discovered, our plugin is not currently compatible with ADT 23.  We are working on an update, but in the meantime you can downgrade back to ADT 22.x.

  I get the following error message when I try to record the keys through the Eclipse Plugin.

  I am sure that my PIN is correct because it was included in the Bill I received by post for the purchase of my keys.

However, I work with the Push API (BIS) that is not fully supported on waving, so I need to use a device/Simulator.

  Did anyone done this before? This would make the application faster and easier to deploy on the simulators of packaging.

  You can use Packager integrated ripple, even if you are not stable in Wellington. It will deploy to the Simulator for you and it always supports the latest version of the SDK.

  If you need to install fresh Eclipse, you must re-download all over the JRE versions. The best thing to do is back up your Eclipse folder once all your plug-ins are installed.

  Therefore, if you have problems with your installation of Eclipse, you can restore the backup folder.

  But when I go into the preferences of BlackBerry / installed components are not in the drop-down list.

  Thanks for your reply. I solved the problem by reinstalling the eclipse. I think I broke my eclipse installation by removing the plugins manually installation of eclipse.

  What is someone is able to download the JDE Eclipse plugin?  The zip file seems to be corrupted.  I tried to download about 10 times with IE and FF.  No love.

  At the bottom of the plugin download page, there will be a link to "Download the Complete Eclipse Software Update". It's 500 MB or more, so it'll take a while to download. Download Eclipse Classic 3.4.1 Eclipse.org so... to launch Eclipse, go to help-> software updates-> add a Site-> Archive and select the downloaded Zip file. It should give you a list of available plugins to install... Select the JDE plugin and component 4.3 and 4.5 packs (you can select the 4.6 and 4.7 expensive if you want).

• Plugin Eclipse Build problem

  I have some problems with Beta 2 of the Eclipse plugin. I need to make it work. I work under Vista and do an install Eclipse 3.4.1 separate and added the BB Plugin. My problem is that it does not work. I'm not able to build my projects. Everything seems to be ok, but if I start "Building project" anything except for the class being compiled and placed in the bin folder. No .cod, .debug or all the other files are created.

  Someone has a similar setup running successfully and can help me?

  To create files for the active projects of cod you can press Alt + B or "Build of Setup BlackBerry Active" from the Project menu.  This happens automatically when you launch the BlackBerry of Eclipse Simulator.
