  I am very very frustrated... I have the same problemfor the third time!
  Today I started my eclipse to work on my blackberry application and all my projects have disappeared. No project has been posted.
  I do not change my area of work or something like that!

  So I imported "blackberry existing projects into workspace" and return to my projects. Cool, but now I can not compile, debug, I can't do anything because the componentpack of the RIM is not in the way of construction more.

  I don't know how to describe... The single 't corrected it the last time was a relocation of all eclipse and JDE plugin. But this time I have already installed key sign, so I can't uninstall my eclipse without losing them.

  Please help me, I can't work with this buggy thing...

  RIM support team has solved my problem. This is a settings file broken.

  If you have the same problems (no workspace of blackberry, no compilation, etc.) easily remove the file:

  C:\Programme\eclipse\plugins\net.rim.eide.componentpack4.5.0_4.5.0.16\components\bin\settings.rc

  I read this (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Web-and-WebWorks-Development/Eclipse-Plug-in-for-Webworks-SDK...) and I'm well aware that the like Blackberry developers to switch to training for development. However, I work with the Push API (BIS) that is not fully supported on waving, so I need to use a device/Simulator.

  I found that using WebWorks (SDK 2.0.0) Packager that comes with the Eclipse Plugin supports all the features I need to use the API to push (I get Java exception errors).   Did anyone done this before? This would make the application faster and easier to deploy on the simulators of packaging.

  You can use Packager integrated ripple, even if you are not stable in Wellington. It will deploy to the Simulator for you and it always supports the latest version of the SDK.

  one thing that I stumbled upon: If you create a project of IMP - NG, plugins Eclipse ME generate a wrong value for microedition profile. They write ' IMP - NG - 2.0 ", that the correct value is 'IMP - NG". If you run the project with an incorrect value, you simply no reaction. If you open the log console or the emulator device, you will see an exception:
  java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
  -com.sun.midp.installer.Version.initFromComponents (), bci = 149

  Simply remove the "-2.0" in the text of the application descriptor Editor.

  It's problem of MTJ plugin on that we are based. It cannot be fixed on the side of ME SDK, but you can use after the workaround:

  1. go in the Application descriptor > tab Application descriptor
  2. change manually:
  Microedition-profile: IMP - NG - 2.0
  TO
  Microedition-profile: IMP - NG
  3. save the application descriptor

  Unfortunately, I think that the plugin Eclipse also is no longer supported. In its place, you will need to download the emulator to ripple by https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/html5/download

  Most of the API is supported, but not all of them so you'll need to make your major tests in the Simulator or device.

  Newbie here! I'm trying to find the plug-in Eclipse components for previous versions. Can't seem to find a download page that lists all available. Thanks in advance!

  After a lot of Googling, I found that the URL is needed. As a newbie, it seems to me that the news on Eclipse plug-ins could use more descriptive information. Remember, we are trying to get productive as soon as possible and spending hours (days) trying to figure out how to get just a dev environment to the top is too. Don't forget that the rest of the world comes from Eclipse and probably wants to stay there. (I have a girlfriend, do not need another!).

• Download plugin Eclipse JDE

  What is someone is able to download the JDE Eclipse plugin?  The zip file seems to be corrupted.  I tried to download about 10 times with IE and FF.  No love.

  At the bottom of the plugin download page, there will be a link to "Download the Complete Eclipse Software Update". It's 500 MB or more, so it'll take a while to download. Download Eclipse Classic 3.4.1 Eclipse.org so... to launch Eclipse, go to help-> software updates-> add a Site-> Archive and select the downloaded Zip file. It should give you a list of available plugins to install... Select the JDE plugin and component 4.3 and 4.5 packs (you can select the 4.6 and 4.7 expensive if you want).

• trouble setting up Blackberry JDE and the JDE plugin Eclipse

  Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong here? I just downloaded blackberry JDE, tried to launch an example helloworld app that came with the IDE, but it keeps displaying error in the building.

  Then I tried to use the blackberry with eclipse plug-in. I downloaded the eclipse IDE, installed the plugin on the same folder as the eclipse IDE, and then when I click the icon blackberry on the eclipse toolbar, it asks me a key sigature... of course there must be something I am doing wrong.

  I tried some of the materials and videos on the site but you can't always find my way through...

  Would be happy if someone could take me through the steps. Thank you!

  No, don't worry about the "install key Signature...". "That will not matter until you want to run on a real device.  The "configure BlackBerry Workspace' is grayed out until you have a BlackBerry workspace to configure.  Yes, a bit strange, but that's the way it works.

  To do this, you will need to either import a file from workspace BB existing (.jdw) or a file existing project BB (.jdp), or to build a new BB project from scratch. You build a new project of BB with file-> New-> project, which opens a new project dialog box, and then select BlackBerry-> BlackBerry project and run the new project wizard.  But you probably just want to import the demonstration project you are trying to build.

  I installed the JDE 'net.rim.eide_1.0.0.67' eclipse plugin and component pack "net.rim.eide.componentpack4.7.0_4.7.0.46".

  I installed the Inc. using the ZIP of the eclipse install mechanism.

  When I check the installed Plugins both are listed in the installed plugins.

  But when I go into the preferences of BlackBerry / installed components are not in the drop-down list.

  What I did wrong?

  Thanks for your reply. I solved the problem by reinstalling the eclipse. I think I broke my eclipse installation by removing the plugins manually installation of eclipse.

  I'm sure I won't be the first question to ask, but research forums did not help for some reason any.

  Is it profiling in Eclipse plugin tool (I use version 1.1) not the JDE, I don't want to go to JDE whenever I need a project profile.

  If you need to install fresh Eclipse, you must re-download all over the JRE versions. The best thing to do is back up your Eclipse folder once all your plug-ins are installed.

  Therefore, if you have problems with your installation of Eclipse, you can restore the backup folder.
