  I own acrobat X and this morning, I opened a PDF with links, but I was unable to click through. When I tried, I got a message saying:

  "The plug-in required by this action"URI"is not available." Plugin missing persons information may be available on the Adobe Web site. »

  I went to check my plug-ins in the program, only to discover that they were all gone. The program worked very well last week, and by clicking on the links worked.

  Can anyone understand this?

  Have you tried a repair installation? You will see an option in the Help menu.

  Please check if you have "enable plug-ins" checked in the Preferences of Safari dialog box, on the Security tab? If this is not the case, turn it on and check.

  You can try with another browser and see if it works there.

  Uninstall using its uninstall shockwave program and then re - install and check.

• InCopy Workflow Plugins - missing!

  This question is in reference to InDesign CS6, which I use for two projects for different clients.

  Project A, we are on an InCopy workflow, and I was happily using my assignments Panel to manage the text.

  Project B is picked then required a K4 workflow. It was installing plugins so K4 InCopy plugins disable.

  I received a script to quickly make the 'clean up' plugin as required K4 (a script that I now regret the use). When I came back to a project file has, of course, my assignments Panel was missing, and I can't find it anywhere.

  I checked my plugins folder; There is nothing in there more about InCopy or assignments. Nothing in my trash, either.

  Can anyone advise on how to restore the default plugins?

  Well, I'm back running with fully functional InDesign for both workflows.

  I ended up reinstalling the program. I managed to keep my preferences on uninstall it will affect anything. After reinstalling my plugins K4 remained and InCopy plugins have been restored.

  I created a game in the extensions Manager to facilitate the transition between the two streams of work.

  I blame the script, but I can't exclude that I can have manually deleted the InCopy plugins. I received a lot of pop ups when I launched the program, and it was confusing. Hard to believe that I have saved a copy of this folder plugin somewhere, but it is possible; I just wanted to get K4 run and I didn't know that it would conflict with the InCopy workflow and related plugins, panels, etc.

  I hope that this will be useful information for later use.

  So, I installed After Effects on my PC and after that I opened it a window-view poped open saying that my plugin effect Plexus was missing.

  So I don't know what to do but search for a download so I could add the plugin in After Effects. Well, it costs money. If this isn't an option!

  Do you have any addvice to correct the problem?

  If you open a project created by using a plugin that you don't have, you get a message telling you that you are missing a plug-in that depends on this project.

  Best we can do for you is to suggest uninstall, run the cleanup tool (CS for installation problems cleaning tool |) CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 ) and rerun Setup.   Export your edited .inx file, then open and save as an .indd don't. That should remove the plugin info.

  If the above does not help...

  Firefox usually detects Silverlight since a registry entry created by the Silverlight installer. Points of entry into a file here - you can verify that the file exists:

  c:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Silverlight\5.1.40728.0\npctrl.dll

  If the file does not exist, the installation failed.

  If there is in this place, there's a number that Firefox cannot find it the possible reasons:

  One of the possible reasons for a plugin not installed in which they appear in the page modules are if Firefox has DO NOT scan the registry for plugins. Another is that the settings of Firefox, plugin data storage file is corrupt. Here are the steps to check these possibilities:

  Confirm that Firefox scans the registry for plugins

  Firefox detects the Silverlight plugin for a registry entry. Some users have scanning disabled for some reason any. Here's how check and fix this:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the filter box, type or paste the scan and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) If plugin.scan.plid.all is not set to its default value true, double-click it to activate it by default.

  If you have changed this setting, close and restart Firefox to start another analysis.

  If you visit the Add-ons page again, success?

  If Firefox is set to scan, but still do not find Silverlight and the list on the page Add - ons...

  Remove the registry file for the plugin for Firefox

  Sometimes the pluginreg.dat file is damaged. You can remove it and Firefox plugins re-scan. As a side effect, the plug-ins that you have disabled the page modules probably will be reactivated, you'll need to return to this page once more.

  Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
  • Menu help > troubleshooting information
  • type or paste Subject: support in the address bar and press enter

  In the first table of the page, click on the "view file" button to launch a new window of Windows Explorer showing your settings files.

  Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
  • File menu > exit

  Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename pluginreg.dat to something like pluginreg.old

  Launch Firefox back up again. (If you want to restore your previous session non-private use history > restore previous Session.)

  When you return to the page modules, is Silverlight finally here?
