• Officejet J6480 carriage jams when printing wirelessly via the plugin from HP printing service

  I try to print on my printer OfficeJet J6480 HP all-in-one to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet that runs Android 4.4 Wireless using the "HP Print Service Plugin on the tablet.

  Measures already taken;

  Sucessfully downloaded/installed the Service HP Print on shelf Plugin

  Radio wireless to the printer and correctly configured to communicate with the router wirelessly activated successfully.

  Problem:

  When you try to print something from the tablet to the wireless printer, the printer is trying to perform the print operation (flow paper in the printer from paper tray, shows 'Printing' on the printer screen), but then never made a real impression and gets a 'Transport Jam' indication on the printer screen.

  When this occurs above, I opened the hood top, checked for jammed paper in the paper path (Nothing), did tension of printer many times, cycle of fact alignments cleanings and cartridge many times, changed the paper to different types of paper.

  None of these actions corrected the problem...

  I'll also add that when you perform the steps of printing with the radio wireless on off the printer and the cable connected to the printer, the printer functions normally when you print from my pc applications - no traffic jams. Also, the printer works normally when you perform a function 'copy' locally from the printer control panel - not roadways of jams.

  I thought maybe an update of the firmware to the printer could solve this problem - ideas about this being a likely solution?

  BTW - how you normally clear / would correct a cart-jam regardless of printing wirelessly or through an ethernet cable?

  If the firmware update is not a solution, any comment on what could be the cause of the problem?

  If an update is available, could you tell me how to do the upgrade and where can I download it from?

  Two things I wanted to first of all thank you a lot for the response to my original message concerning the problem of printing wirelessly to my printer HP J6480 of the Tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 via the Plugin of Service HP Print.

  Secondly, I wanted to aplogize for the very long delay in responding to your... I had some health problems with a family member who prevented me to try your suggestions to the problem.

  I am pleased to report that I managed to solve the problem... I am now able to print to the printer of the tablet.

  A little history on the fix...

  I tried to download and install the update of the firmware from the link you provided, while having the printer connected to the PC (Windows) computer via a USB connection, as you suggest. (It was initially connected through my home network, so I had to first uninstall, then reinstall via USB connection). When you try to install the downloaded firmware it failed, even after several attempts to re-downloading/reinstalling.

  Instead, I uninstalled the printer again, reinstalled over the home network, downloaded the update of the firmware directly from the HP site by locating the printer model, then the firmware. This time the firmware successfully installed (was able to view the progress of installation of the firmware in the display on the front panel of the printer). Make the installation of the firmware with the printer installed on the network domestic (instead fo via USB), the installation process allowed me to search for the printer on the network - it found it successfully and successfully installed the firmware.

  After this successful firmware installation and turn on the wireless radio on the printer (via the button on the front panel), I was able to print successfully from the tablet... YES!

  Needless to say, there is no carriage jam messages as before... and I did not try your other suggestions to go to the HP article on carriage jam error States/solutions.

  I am really gratefull for your response/suggestions...fixing this problem did the usefulness of my tablet to increase dramatically to have the ability to print... cudos to you for your efforts on this forum and a big "thumbs up" for your records.

  I'm mainly a guy of printers, but have you tried a different monitor on the computer?

  You excluded the cord, so it's either the screen itself, or the graphics card in the computer.

  If the monitor works on another computer, its probably the graphics card.

  If it isn't, something could happen on the screen.

  I understand that I must download the "HP Print Service Plugin' to allow my new Samsung rating 4 empty wireless printing. I tried several times to download the app, but each time to fail with the following message ""HP Print Service Plugin "could not be downloaded due to an error (495)."  The app is not compatible with the phone?  If Yes, are there any other application / collaborative I can print empty my new phone Samsung Note 4?  The specs of the device: Adroid version 5.0.1.

  Have you tried to do a few more space in your Android device.

  Try to move all the pic/app on the memory card and then try to new downloadning plugin for printing from HP.

• DeskJet 3050 has J611Series: HP Print service is disabled - how to activate it?

  I'm trying to print from my Samsung Galaxy Tab S, SM-T805. Under settings: connectionsprinting, I see the HP Print Service Plugin is turned off, and by clicking on the icon displays a screen that tells me that the service is disabled. There's no obvious way to turn it on.

  When I followed a link on the same screen to download an app playstore, HP Print Service Plugin box is there, with a beat in a box to the right of the btm, but when I open it, I just see the uninstall option - not install or update, so I guess that the version I have is the latest. I actually uninstall, then reinstall, but no change.

  So, how can I activate it? WiFi is turned on, the printer is offline.

  In Applications, I select the plugin that shows the version 2.8 - 1.5.0 - 10F - 16.1.16 - 71.  Apparently, there is no button to activate it.

  If I understand well there is not a core function, and I do not wish to use the cloud at all.

  Looking for one suggests this is not an unusual problem, but I have not found a solution so far.

  Any ideas please?

  @silverman166, I'm just looking at your post and hoping that I might be able to help!

  I'm working on a Samsung Galaxy S5, Android 5.0 Lollipop so I hope that you will be able to follow the screenshots.

  As you have already mentioned you downloaded service of HP Print plugin via Google game store, so all the options at my disposal should be the same for you.

  (1) in the settings for 'Print' in the section scroll to connect and share

  (2) select the printing to HP Service Plugin

  (3) in the upper right corner, drag the glider to the right to activate the plugin.

  4) press OK

  (5) your HP Print Plugin should now be enabled.

  

  Hope this helps you activate the Plugin HP!

  I can't print from this computer, iMac (24-inch, mid 2007), operation 10.11.5 el Capitan and the printing software Epson for WF WF2630. When I try to open the preferences of printing system and scanner - printer indicates the possibility of set up. But when I try to set up, nothing happens. When I click on the printer icon in the dock, a message "Printing Services is not available." I have the latest version of the epson software (June 7, 2016).

• My calendars are not download to Print Services, but I'm still to pay for them. 9.6.1 iPhoto on an iMac with Yosemite 10.10.5. Help, please!

  I've tried twice now to order my calendars. It takes a long time to download on Apple Print Services, so I walk and come back later to find that the process bar has not moved. I checked my bank account and noticed that I am being charged for the calendars, but I have not received a corresponding email saying the order has been received. I contacted time Apple the first and we was told he did not order and received a refund.

  What is the operating system installed?

  Download and install the complete operating system software of features appropriate for your printer. During execution of the tasks of maintenance on your printer, it is better to go in the HP, not the properties of the printer dialog window software.

  The following image use Dutch as a language, but it works for me. The HP Solution Center is where I align and clean the print heads. I print only to test the pages in the print dialog window.

  

• In Windows 7 LPD printing service is off and when I turn on the feature, get an error has occurred, and LPD print Service remains.

  Had the Toshiba laptop for 6 months and the printer works fine.

  Then the printers not available error.  Go to control panel, programs and features, select nfeature.  LPD printing service and were all two Port LPR OFF monitor.  Able to turn ONE monitor Port LPR, but when turn characteristic on printing to LPD, a message service, an error has occurred.

  Fixit printer running tool does not help.

  According to the description, you can not enable LPD printing service in Windows 7.

  Please follow the steps to solve the problem with LPD printing service:

  Method 1: SFC Run scan into the computer

  Use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows system files

• My printer does not print until I press on restart printer services, why?

  My purchased 2011 Asus N53JF-A1 laptop running Win 7 Premium with 8 GB of memory.

  I reinstalled Windows nine from recovery and installed the Brother printer driver according to the instructions

  from the Brother's Web site. The DCP 7020 laser printer answered correctly during installation

  the software.  Rebooted the laptop and I tried to print a test page.  Printer fault has been the message

  and no printing.   Went to services and supports on the restart printer services and the requested page came

  outside.   So I have to be able to print to restart the printer services each time.

• Hyperion Financial Reporting-Print Service is not running - put 11.1.2.1

  We use the Hyperion 11.1.2.1 and when I look at my Hyperion Financial Reporting-Print service, it shows me to stop and when I right click to stop/start it the options are grayed out.

  There should be a newspaper available that can give more indication to this problem, not being is not able to connect to the web server en is one of the common issues.

• Print file to send to a printer service

  When you try to print to a jpg file to send to a printing service, why you are required to put up a page printer paper size hollow? You should be allowed to freely configure the size of the page, without beingforced to choose a printer.

  In my case, as I wanted to print a large size (50 x 70 cm), I had to use a pdf printer, which has helped to put in place the size of the page. In this case, it resulted that the proportions of the picture to print is different from the original file (actually several). I think that maybe it's because the printer driver.

  It should be possible. Make sure that you check the custom size in the print job Panel and that it corresponds with the Layout Panel, unless making prints with borders. See the images below:
