Podcast icon is gone - iphone

This is the first time I posted. According to me, I tried everything and could really do with some help. I lost my podcast icon on my phone. [iphone 6 iOS9.2]

I tried to search for him on the phone, but nothing helped. It is not hidden in all folders.

I restored my phone twice now and I have the latest version of itunes. 12.3.2. I can see the icon on my apps on itunes and it says it is installed. [I also tried to delete a certain number of times within a certain number of times and downloaded again] So far, nothing has worked.

Someone at - it ideas on what I can try?

Thank you

Louise

Check the restrictions. Settings > general > Restrictions > under 'allow' Podcasts should be on. -AJ

  • Is it possible to load podcasts (using podcasts app) on the iPhone without the need to have these load on iTunes on Mac at the same time?

I agree, download and listen to podcasts on my iPhone (6 s 9.3.4).) When I sync with my Mac (2008 Macbook OS Lion) it also syncs podcasts (obviously) but it takes too much space on my Mac, and I never listen to the podcasts on the Mac. When I uncheck the sync option of podcasts in iTunes (12.2.2.25), he said that it will remove all the podcasts on the iPhone too, that I don't want. Is it possible to download podcasts over the phone without also their sync iTunes as well?

    Thank you

The Podcast app works using the connection of the iPhone and can sync no read using iCloud. Can simply browse podcasts and download them directly from the phone.

  • I can't download the podcast app on my iphone

When I go to the app store to download the podcast on my iPhone apple app it says I already downloaded it, but when I press open it wont let me open it. How can I get this app on my phone?

Podcasts app is installed as part of the iOS. It cannot be downloaded separately in iOS 9.

If you do not see on your screens home or inside files, check the settings > general > restrictions.

If you try to update based on a command prompt in iTunes, it is a mistake. Ignore the message or delete Podcasts to iTunes app to stop messages.

  • All my songs are gone [iPhone 5 s - iOS 9.3.1]

    Hello

I use an iPhone running iOS 9.3.1 5s. Everything worked without problem until tonight where I decided to listen to music. To my shock and disappointment, I discovered that all the songs in my iPhone (~2.5 concerts), except those that I bought on the iTunes Store, last day, disappeared! I tried to reboot the device just to see if the songs reappearing, but it did not help.

I also checked under the storage & use iCloud and noticed that the available storage has increased sharply, which probably means that the songs are gone for good.

The last time that I have synced my phone with iTunes on my PC was about a month ago, so I guess that it has nothing to do with this issue.

I hope some of you can help me here.

    Thank you

Try to connect your phone to your PC again. Go to iTunes and see your available storage space. If you see that your storage is still less full, then go to your purchased items (always plugged into your PC) If you see that your songs have always disappeared then go to iTunes (on your phone) and if you purchased iTunes songs to remember and you can re-download these songs on your phone again.

    I hope this helps!

  • retrieve the icon settings on iPhone 5 c

    Hello world

Somehow, I deleted my my iPhone 5 c settings icon. I can still pass on all search settings and it comes, and the actual icon disappeared. Anyway to get it back?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    SAL

Try a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

Also go to settings (when you get search) > general > reset > reset home screen presentation. That could help as well.
