Point table in recovery time space

Why do we need database backup before the YVERT target...
****************************************************************
What I did: -.

SCN:100

Table created "prod" of SNA 110

Back up the database with rman

Removed from the database

restore, recover up to Yvert 110

ERROR: = datafile 1-6 doesnot have backup

Now why it has not corrected to 110 Yvert... but when I got backup before you create the tables and then recovery success has been achieved

the second backup do NOT contain 110 YVERT

  • Full disk recovery disk space

    How to release my recovery disk space? I deleted all the files I can and the trash. I think I may have inadvertently backed up my files from my flash on that disk drive and now can't free up space. I contacted and talked to a Microsoft support without resolution. I have space in my OS drive that I can save in but would like to get my D drive clear. Any suggestions?

    Ignore the warning for D drive. It is the recovery disk that is needed to restore your PC to factory settings. "A programmer is just a tool that converts the caffeine in code" Deputy CLIP - http://www.winvistaside.de/

  • How can I animate various mouse Tracker points at the same time during a recording?

    Hey,.

    I'm trying to animate my character so that his left arm cross out his right elbow, and then the fear character and she jumps on the side. I can't animate the arms at the same time in a single record. How can I animate various mouse Tracker points at the same time?

    Playing right now I seem to be only able to animate a point Tracker of mouse at the same time (i.e. his right arm) and when I return to 're-save' so I can animated left arm, right arm recording is saved on and now only point left mouse Tracker.

    Hope that makes sense, let me know if you need me to develop. Thank you.

    Currently, you'll want to separate Tracker mouse behaviors for each hand. Select the puppet in the project Panel, and then add the second behavior mouse Tracker via the add behavior button ("+") in the properties panel. Then, during recording, make sure to disarm one of them so that other behaviors can control the hand that you drag. We are studying ways to improve this workflow for future versions overview.

  • Flashback Database vrs Point in recovery time

    Q1. What is the difference between a CAMILLE and Flashback Database? I am aware that CAMILLE is obviously older than Flashback DB process. Both seem to do the same thing, although CAMILLE seems to imply a recovery followed by restore (i.e. moving it to the rear then roll forward) while Flashback DB seems just involve moving backward. ? Flashback database is generally faster on this basis?

    Seems to me that if CAMILLE is useful when you have file corruption / loss that Flashback Database is better to back off before an error by the user (for example a decrease of a table, etc. - but you can use the trash to sort that).

    CAMILLE can correct the error of the user as well, but it seems that it would be a slower process

    Thoughts?

    Thank you
    Jim

    Jimbo, you have identified the differences in how CAMILLE and Flashback database both you can get the same point. Flashback database should be faster because you do not have to restore the entire database first; However, your window of flashback database is limited. Depending on the case, you have defined points of restoration or not and how old these points are that you can resort to the use of a CAMILLE.
    - -
    I do not consider set a production database in time through Flashback Database as being a practical operation since usually only one company ara has need to be flashed back then that everyone would like to continue to use the database, as it is. In this case restoring to another server/vesion of the database via CAMILLE would recreate the necessary data where other methods could then be used to extract data and migrate the production database.

  • Recovery of space allocated to a table (tablespace)

    One of the tables in the database to prod had some app config related issue and started to gobble up the space like a T - Rex hungry!

    App support team have finally identified the problem and the abnormal growth is over. Now the task I have to do is reclaim the space that has been allocated to the tablespace, so that it can be used properly for the future growth of the database.

    Can you please advice on the best approach to the problem. One that I can think of is,
    1. ask downtime,
    2 export the tables in the tablespace.
    3 truncate all tables (so that HWM is reset)
    4 only import the back tables in the tablespace.

    Is there another way in 10g that will allow me to do it with little or no downtime?

    Reduction of table operation is an online order. Users can use the table while that shrinkage is held well less DML activity on the fastest table, that the command can deal with.

  • Problem with table of waveform: time scale do not see the time correctly

    Hello

    I have some problems with a graphic.

    I want to display data, and the duration between two unique data can vary. It's something between 50ms and 500 ms.

    1. the time is not correctly displayed in the graph (allways 02:00:10 instead of the current time)
    2. the data points in the table have a distance of 1 s (x-scale). This is not correct.

  • Recovery of space in OLAP 11.1.0.7

    Hello
    I tried to understand how the OLAP cube loads consume space and how can we free up space used by OLAP AW objects in DB version 11.1.0.7. I have the following questions.

    1 during the loading process of a large number of data tablespace is apparently is used as TEMP, I note that the data space is consumed while a generation of cube is underway, but free in the tablespace space increases once the charging.
    2. it is very difficult to reclaim the space used by an AW. I tried to remove the cubes, but it does not work. The only way I understood is to drop and re-create the full AW using the xmls. Is there a better way?
    3 loads of incremental data sometimes take more space than the full loads. What is this means that old data is not deleted?

    Thanks in advance.

    One of the oddities of analytic workspaces is that a lot of versions or generations, can exist at the same time. It's very powerful, especially for the analysis of "what if?", but these generations take place. A special generation of AW will last as long as there is a customer in the appendix or if it is one of the last three generations. The following code can be used to eliminate some memory by forcing the creation of three new (small) generations. The AW in this case is GLOBAL, so you would need to adjust accordingly.

    set serverout on size unlimited
    GLOBAL > select round(sum(DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(AWLOB))/1024,0) kb from aw$global;

         KB
    ----------
        167699

    GLOBAL > declare
    2  aw_name varchar2(30);
    3  begin
    4   aw_name := 'GLOBAL';
    5   dbms_aw.execute('aw attach ' || aw_name || ' rwx;define junkvar int;update;commit');
    6   for i in 1..3 loop
    7     dbms_aw.execute('aw reattach ' || aw_name || ' rwx;junkvar=junkvar+1;update;commit');
    8   end loop;
    9   dbms_aw.execute('delete junkvar;update;commit;aw detach ' || aw_name || '');
    10 end;
    11 /

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    GLOBAL > select round(sum(DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(AWLOB))/1024,0) kb from aw$global;

    Another useful trick is to call rebuild freepools. This is done automatically in 11.2, but you would need to do it yourself in 11.1.0.7.

    alter table aw$global modify lob (awlob) (rebuild freepools);

    Here's a quote from the Oracle documentation. Note that you should not run this if you use SECUREFICHIERS.

    The REBUILD FREEPOOLS clause deletes all the old data from the LOB column. This clause is only useful if return you to PCTVERSION to LOB data management. You can do this to manage older data blocks.

    Even after all this, there is always a table unadvoidable growth of $ AW. As a general rule, you can expect the table to increase three times its size after his original charge. It's mainly a side effect of the use of the LOBS to store the AW, given that LOB subsystem do not abandon the memory as soon as he got it.

    2. it is very difficult to reclaim the space used by an AW. I tried to remove the cubes, but it does not work. The only way I understood is to drop and re-create the full AW using the xmls. Is there a better way?

    This is a bug and has been discussed (and indeed discovered) in a recent thread: releasing storage occupied by Cube

    3 loads of incremental data sometimes take more space than the full loads. What is this means that old data is not deleted?

    Loads of additional data, or more precisely aggregations of inremental, take existing lists of the child nodes and extend them. This can lead to a similar to a fragmented hard disk fragmentation. After a full charge children lists will be stored together again. It is, either incidentally, why additional performance can degrade over time, and why a periodic complete aggregation can improve performance.

  • Until THE recovery TIME RMAN fails on OPEN DATABASE RESETLOGS

    Hello

    I met general media failure a week ago and decided to recover my database to a point in time about two weeks ago. The RMAN restore/recovery part seemed to work correctly according to the newspapers, but my database could not open on the part of ALTER DATABASE OPEN RESETLOGS.
    It's my RMAN script:
    RMAN > RUN {
    2 > SET until TIME = 27 July 09 ';
    3 > RESTORE database;
    4 > RECOVER DATABASE;
    5 > ALTER DATABASE OPEN RESETLOGS;
    {6 >}

    To navigate in the alerts log, I think one my redo log group 2 is corrupt and the database fails to open when he met this group. 2 is my current group. I tried the command ALTER DATABASE CLEAR no ARCHIVED LOGFILE GROUP 2, but it fails with ORA-1624: file necessary for crash recovery.
    Why this file is necessary for recovery on incident so I'm restore to a point in time two weeks in the past and does not seek to roll forward modifications online redo log?

    I can't get my database regarding the EDITING phase; Therefore, I can't force a log switch. And group 2 being the current group, I can't let it go. I don't know how to proceed.

    Thank you
    Mimi

    You don't have to reset the incarnation. I don't know you need NLS_DATE_FORMAT value, however your time format does not seem right.

  • Escape the mouse pointer when you press the space bar

    My tecra has developed a problem where whenever I press the space bar, the mouse pointer out of the screen and the mobile guard in the upper right or sometimes down left for about 30 seconds then stops. happens in all weather conditions of applications that I use an optical mouse or the touchpad

    Hi Dave

    I had the same problem. Initially, the mouse was mad for 30 seconds, but shortly after, it was worse. I switched the keyboard and now everything is ok.

    Of course, the pointer of the mouse was defective. I'm sure that in your case the problem is the same.

  • Time space capsule from the OLD account not released after deleting account...

    Help!  I had an old installation 'account' on the Time Capsule for tim machine backups.  The account has been using more than 2.5 TB of the available 3 TB and causing all backups to fail without space.  The machine which was supported until the account had a HDD 500 GB while it was difficult to understand how he was taking so much room so fast.  I finally understood that the .inprogress file has not been cleaned and had leftovers backups.   I tried everything to remove/reset it but nothing worked so I finally just deleted the account on the Time Capsule via airport Util expecting that all space used by that account would be released - but no, it wasn't.  Now all space is exhausted and I can't seem to find a way to connect to the root drive or to somehow be cleaned and released!

    How to solve this without losing the backups of the other accounts that share this time Capsule for their respective Time Machine backups?

    Do you mean that the hard drive Time Capsule... called 'Data', unless you changed the default name... are not accessible using the Finder... or... the Finder / order... or, you aren't sure how to access the Time Capsule disk?

    Are still using OS X (10.7.4) on your Mac, as you indicate in your profile?  If this is not the case, what operating system is currently installed?
