  I want to create a popup mouse over event on the bar graph, but I have not found the corresponding property in the property inspector. Is it possible to display a popup on mouse over in the bar graph?
  
  At the present time, I am able to create a popup in the bean to support based on the click event. I want to line up on the bar in the chart that was clicked. But now, it's to be aligned for the bar chart as a whole (as above the chart under the chart) when I use 'RichPopup.PopupHints.HintTypes.HINT_ALIGN_ID, source '. Is there a way to align on the particular bar?

  Hello

  don't think that you can align in a region within a component. The property id align expects a component reference. Note that the mouse on a bar chart does not select the bar, which means that the data in the link layer are not defined in progress (just in case the data in the pop-up window to be dependent)

  You can be able to reproduce models using a picture as your picture fill in the bar chart. Try to experiment with code like:

• Draw a line connecting two points in the WPF chart

  I'm trying to understand the best way to draw a line between two existing points on my graph in WPF.  At first, I thought I had it works fine; I just added another parcel to my graph then given exactly two points for rendering.  But I quickly noticed that the app has become surprisingly slow and CPU was quite high (adding other plots does not affect the use of the CPU as long as they have a complete set of points (?)).  He wants me if I looked at using the DataToScreen method on the chart but I can't know what the parameters are.  The second parameter is simply an IList that tells me a lot.  This seems to be the method I want to use for the coordinates of a point on the graph screen.

  No one knows what the second parameter is supposed to be for the DataToScreen method?  Everything I tried throws an Exception of Argument.

  DataToScreenwill return a screen coordinate in the plot area of a chart of the value of the raw data horizontal and vertical in the given list. The parameter value is a IList for compatibility with other methods of graphical query such as FindNearestValue , return IList values containing raw data.

  A concrete example, say you had a graphical configuration with a wide horizontal axis ranging from 0 to 100 and a vertical axis double precision ranging from 10 to 20:

  
          
              
              
          
      

  To get the screen coordinates of the value at the center of the two axes, you can call:

  graph.DataToScreen(plot, new object[] { 50, 15.0 })

  Note that the raw data values corresponding to the type of axes (horizontal AxisInt32 returns the integer 50 and vertical AxisDouble Gets the value 15.0 ).

  You also mentioned a performance issue where "adding other plots does not affect the CPU so that they have a complete set of points". I did a simple test app that adds an array of two points of a chart on each key (for example graph.Data.Add(new[] { new Point(x1, y1), new Point(x2, y2) }); ), but could not reproduce the problem you saw. Could you share the code, you use to draw the connection line?

• bars of variable width in the bar chart

  I would like to establish a curve that looks like a bar graph, but I want to be able to specify the width of the bars. For example, if the user enters 0 for the x - min, 6 for the x - max and 5,000 for y - max, then I want to draw a bar that starts at 0, has a width of 6 and a height of 5,000. It seems that the options bar in a xy chart chart don't allow variable width, but rather centered around any value of x is associated with a particular value y.

  Can I do this without having to manually draw line vertical and horizontal of each rectangle?

  We do not have this option to activate the color of the border of the bars in the chart by default.
  Try to make changes in the .pcxml files, but it will be in effect for all bar charts you use.

• Maximum development of the bar chart

  I searched the help for this, but cannot find anything.
  
  I created a bar graph and has had to deal with more than 200 pairs of value. Because you could not see anything during the display of the whole graph, I divided the data and added a digital stepper for results only 10 at a time. I now have the problem that for a better comparisson, I would need the same steps of value on the x axis. For example: the top 10 values are between 1200 and 1800 for the x-axis starting with 0 and ending with 2000, with several steps between. As soon as I move on to the next site, I have values between 1000 and 1100. Now, the x-axis begins with 0 and ends by 1200. The last site of the x-axis begins with 0 and ends with 14... the Question is, if it is possible to set a fixed value as 3000 and leave the x-axis always start with 0 and ending with this fixed value, so that the bars in the last pages are quite small. It would make a quick comparisson much easier.

• Drill/output of the hierarchical chart data?

  I have a set of hierarchical and grouped data that are be drawn. I want the user to be able to go down and drill on the sets of data in the graph. When drilling, setting the dataProvider of the graph to the clicked element's children on works well
  However, I don't see no method of drilling back since the clicked item has no parents. Someone has an idea?

  Thanks for your reply. I used your code. But still, I do not get the correct result. The value in the xml file is
  I say 12 so it should be displayed as 12%, but instead I get 1200%. If I divide the value of 100, then I get
  correctly by 12%. But the beaches on the X axis is disrupted. Sound also get divided by 100, and instead of

  it becomes
  0-.4-. 8, which I think its get divided by 100.
  Is there a way I can avoid this?

• Problem with report after a link to the bar chart

  I have given up trying to achieve after only a few hours to try so I really hope someone can help with this.

  I have a simple table in Apex Oracle called 'EVENT' that lists the events I've attended (concerts, football games, etc.). Page 1 of the application, I have a horizontal bar graph listing top bands on the page I've seen. On page 2, I have an interactive report that allows the user to query any attribute in the columns. You can connect to my application using http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=77768:1:10862165435051 and comments/apex_help.

  The two pages worked successfully when independent. The report has been generated simply by using the following code and I could search anything in the table:

  However, I wanted to allow the user to click on one of the columns in the chart on page 1 bar and be taken to the report on page 2 and then showing only the band column of the histogram. To do this, I implemented a component hidden on the page 2 known P2_EVENT_NAME and created a link between this element and the column of the table. The link is based on the following SQL code:

  This works insofar as the user is now able to click on the column of the table and begins to report that returns only the results for the relevant event_name. The user may return to the map and select a different column and be taken to the report updated. The problem is that the report page now is no longer behaves independently of the graph. If the report returns no more results unless you click on the chart, and type a value in the search bar will return nothing. (Searching for "Alice" should show the Alice in concert of strings that I went last night.) I know it's probably the last line in my SQL report source that doesn't hurt, but I don't know how to get the report to ignore the P2_EVENT_NAME value if it is null.

  Any ideas where I'm wrong?

  I would say that rather than try to apply the predicate in the report query, you create IR filters dynamically in the table of links.

  Can you point me to any blogs useful, messages and ideas (whatever it is) on the following question.
  I want to labels extract attribute (view or entity) database (for translations) as elegantly as possible, so I would ' t I specify the label of each unique attribute on a page, because every time I re - create a table or a form from a view instance, I loose all my previous settings of label - for that I would avoid if possible.
  
  I developed a custom resource bundle class that gets all translations of a database table based on a chosen language. Can I get a translation on a page with the expression language (e.g. ' #{res. ") TranslationKey}'). Are there more generally perhaps create a class that manages the labels and retrieve its value?
  
  It would be ideal if I could put an expression in the (tips of the user interface) property of the label for specific attribute (entity or view). Therefore each view function form or table (on one page) would get also its labels of their expression of the label.

  Create a generic EntityDefImpl class custom (so reusable) for your features and configure it with your app (simpler configuration is the preference of the IDE as a base class for all new entities). This could then be used to configure the data of the user interface for an attribute with the string you want to read from the database

• Measure of the kind on the bar chart

  I use OBIEE 11.1.1.6 BP1 and I can't seem to be able to sort out a bar by my measure value chart. I created a simple report with the field Sample Sales just to illustrate my problem. I chose year, Product Name and #Orders as my measure and then added a sort on the measurement column.
  
  If I use my measurement in the vertical axis, the year on the horizontal axis and the product in color vary by section sorting is not applied. The sort is applied only if I place the two columns of the dimension on the horizontal axis (see the link to the picture). Any reason, why this does not work the way I want?

  Hi Pedro,

  Sort feature is different in 11g to 10 g. It's the declaration of Oracle

  "The measurement-based kinds are not implemented completely for graphic and dynamic crosstabs in 11 g. Graphics do not provide UI elements to emulate sorts focused on the measure. There is a restriction in 11 g, and you can use the workarounds for the problems of sort. »

  It seems that you have recently upgraded from 10 g. Before you discover other surprises in 11g UI, look in the "Possible changes after upgrade" section in the upgrade guide.

  You can simply drag the VO even in your page in a table.
  I'm not sure of your use case, but maybe an af:pivotTable is what you need - where the month and year is the top axis of pivot table dynamic.
