  I don't know anything about Macintosh or its files, but if it isn't
  a standard .txt file, simply read it in Word, and then do a backup with regard

  Please confirm if you get the error message below

  If so, it is a special type of PDF form with Adobe LiveCycle Designer. And mobile applications of Acrobat Reader do not support these forms.

  I suggest for you please download the PDF document on your Windows or Mac desktop and open the same with the Acrobat reader DC desktop version.

  Also please let us know if this is a different issue than that.

• Mac: no PDFMaker, so impression of Word to PDF has inactive links

  I wrote a fabulous document in Microsoft Word, which has the numbering of paragraphs, and many "insert > reference...' links in paragraphs." And it contains a lot of ' insert > hyperlink...' links to external documents. It's fabulous.

  If I saved it as a PDF using a Windows machine, these links would function in the PDF file. Clicking on a reference would jump. by clicking on an external link would command the default browser to do the most obvious thing. Hooray!

  But on the Mac, external links are not there. Not if I do "Save as PDF...". ', or if I do it via Adobe Acrobat XI with "Save as Adobe PDF".

  If the link text is " " http://... " then drive PDF Devine there is a link, and it works. But if ordinary words have been transformed into a link, it is formatted like a link but it's inactive.

  Please, how Adobe persuade to release PDFMaker for Mac? Or otherwise to do this work? (Adobe Acrobat XI: help and tutorials (September 2013), on page 46: "PDFMaker is not available for Mac OS.) However, you can still create a PDF of many business applications using the file > print command. In the print dialog box, choose menu, save the PDF AsAdobe PDF file. »)

  FYI, I also asked this issue on the Microsoft side, but other than to discover that PDFMaker solve my problem, if it existed for Mac, which did not help.

• FAT is corrupted, MAC OS user

  When I try to turn on my Sansa Clip 1 GB, it gives me the message: "FAT is corrupted. Connect the device to PC and recover FAT. "I tried to connect to my iMac as usual, and now the computer does not recognize the Sansa Clip, in that it does not appear on the desktop. When I watch the news of system Mac however, the device is listed as connected via USB, as it should.

  I also tried to connect the Sansa Clip directly to the computer (rather than the USB hub) and it's not always displayed on the desktop.

  After reading a few posts on this forum, I also tried forcing MSC mode (I think that's what it's called) by pressing the Center during the setting of the device to the computer while the device is locked. That no longer works.

  Is there anything else I can do?

  After reading the other messages on a Mac with the Sansa Clip usage, I solved the problem by using the Mac disk utility program to clear (reformat) the device. After that, the Sansa Clip appeared on my desk and seems to work again very well.

  I think that the reason why FAT has become corrupt, it was that I was trying to delete some files to the Sansa Clip when it was connected to the Mac, using the Finder. This is when he started to malfunction. Now, I've only will remove the files manually, when it is not connected.

  Now that I upgraded my Mac OS to Snow Leopard (10.6.8), I need to scan on my HP all-in-one psc 1210 is preview Scan & Fax system preferences. Once I scan a page and this page opens, I AM able to scan additional pages, but each is a separate document. The pilot only system available at HP is printed only and don't include a utility to check ink levels. Can someone help me with these two questions? (1) how do I scan multiple pages into a single pdf file. doc with my configuration, and (2) how to check the ink levels

  Even if it looks like Mac OS 10.6.8 I will not be able to scan multiple pages in a pdf, I thought I would send you a screenshot of the options available.

• iMac times 5K vs Mac Pro which is best for export and rendering?

  I am looking for a new machine edition and I'm debating between the new 5K iMac or Mac Pro.  I'm looking for something that will allow me to save time on exports of compression.

  Typical editing session:

  Adobe first Pro CC mixed with some compositions after effects CC.  Export via Media encode.

  -90 minutes of film Pro Res 422

  -Simple fades chained between songs

  -Green Screen to inlay

  -Light color correction

  -Graphic non-animation on screen

  -Possibility of some sequences of 4K (no more than 5 minutes)

  -Sequences linked to the external hard drive - exports going to the same drive. (Work of thunderbolt flow - see question below)

  When I edit the rough cuts for the approval of the customer, I would be compressed in H.264 format for easier time download and playback via the cloud service (Vimeo, Dropbox or car) sharing

  Which of these machines will be most effective in rendering, export and compression?

  When I say effective, I mean, the Mac Pro will save an hour or two in the export of time me?  From what I understand, they are almost identical.  Mac Pro can accelerate a little with 12-cores, but the processor is slower on the 12-core.

  PS - someone has a suggestion of confidence on a Thunderbolt 2 hard drive to edit out of?

  Yes IE reading using 1 disk as media and exported to a separate drive will be faster export. Time of export of the AE exceed normally until the time of the export of first if the comps are something more basic. So if this time receiver is something your tent to relieve the cores/threads are making a difference in the RAM. The drive Bay 4 will give you redundancy and protection of data. If losing a days worth of work is not a big deal separated readers are very good. If this isn't the case, then you may want to consider the Bay 4 after all.

  Using Word from Office 2011 under Snow Leopard, if I use normal ' Print > save as PDF "quit the done resultant PDF my shot of Acrobat 9 Pro and I have to force. Save the files .doc format makes no difference. I did not have this problem with Office 2004 and Snow Leopard.

  If instead I opened the PDF in preview, then run ' Print > save as Adobe PDF "file will work in Acrobat 9"

  Excel produced a PDF work via the ' Print > save as PDF' route as mail.

  I think it's because your Adobe 9 did very perfectly compatible with office 2011.

  In the case, try some Word to PDF converter.

  Most of them are free.

  (There is no way to alphabetize notes document as 1) no version of Pages offers alphabetical order, and 2) the third WordService growing lines sorting only works on the body of the text, not notes/notes document.

  If you really want the energy and time that you put in your thesis, then use the latest MS Word (and updates) available for your version of Mac OS X. Most universities require their staff to normalize the Mac and PC on their respective MS Office implementations, because everyone is now on the same page, working on Microsoft documents in their native format. Pages of Word documents open translates into its own format of exclusive and translated internal data again during export to Word or PDF. He never works on MS Word in a native Microsoft document format.

  Send the exported content of the Pages to your teachers and you can't impress them with document incompatibilities.
