• ColdFusion will not display unicode (utf-8) characters

  I have a very basic page with some characters unicode in it. ColdFusion cannot correctly display them. If I re - save as .html page (so the coldfusion server does not handle it), characters appear very well.

  Here is my page. Note that the character set is set to utf-8.

  I use Dreamweaver CS5.5. Running IIS 7 and CF 9.

  To be clear, these are two different things.  Set the encoding theyour document is for the web browser to know how to display the content. Definition of the processing directive is to say SEE how to compile the file. They are very different things for different purposes and, for some reason, cannot always match.

  You can try to change the default value that uses Java. Try adding to your Java settings in the ColdFusion Administrator:

  -Dfile.encoding = UTF8

• Mointor display at startup is broken and stretched

  Whenever I start my computer, the display screen is breaking and tense, I go to display settings and apply 1600 x 900 60 hertz and that fixes the problem. The problem occurs whenever I start the computer. What should do?

  Maybe it's a stupid question but after you
  change the setting that you left click... Apply / OK.

  I don't know what is causing this problem but would be
  suspicious, it is related to a corrupted or obsolete
  video driver.

  instructions that should be followed closely
  should be available on the support site.

  Once installed the new video driver... you
  can restore your full acceleration.

  Your main video cable is under sheath inside the drive shaft, but the other cables are for diversity wifi antennas and cell if you are equipped.

• DW CS5 - police displayed in the mode display/Live Design is spec'd like us. The police when Live View is turned off is radically different. Why?

  Subject line says it all. In nine pages, the police specify us for the page appears correctly, regardless of whether the Live View is active or inactive. But we have an existing site, where this is not the case - the fonts non - Live View is very different from what we spec'd (and what we see) when Live View is on...   Non-Live View = design mode or in preview in browsers.

  Use Firefox or Chrome to listen to samples.  Right click > inspect element to see what CSS styles are to make your text.

  Hey all, I have worked in CS5.5, I made a file for a Web design in Illustrator, now it make a layered PSD programming. I have a problem with the display fonts in PS, but it's as if nothing is loaded? In Illustrator, there is no problem, but when I use the typetool in PS they appear in staircase as if they are not loaded even if they are and work fine in other programs...? I use Linotype Font Explorer X and frankly did not have problems of this kind for years, I am at a loss, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance...

  (I tried: software updates & reboot, make a new file, ensuring the fonts are loaded in Lino X...)

• Wrong display of fonts Tamil in iCloud accessed via a browser (Mac or PC)

  I created a document in Mac using Pages. I typed in Tamil and the police displayed correctly. I transferred this document to iCloud and opened in 'Pages for iCloud' from your Windows PC. Here the police was NOT displayed correctly.

  I tried various browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer) in the PC. I also checked Safari on Mac. The problem persists. Police display correctly in PC and Mac when I opened the Pages via a browser. The same problem also exists for Notes when a note to iCloud is accessed through a browser (Mac or PC). However, it appears correctly when open in the application Notes (Mac or iPhone).

  It seems that it is a problem of definition of browser, however, I'm not sure about this. You can help me get the Tamil police is displayed correctly in iCloud, accessible via browsers? I need to use the browser because I have only one PC at my work.

  It is not possible on a PC because of incompatibilities of police, according to the nature of the problem.

• the Windows 7 start menu as a menu display does not respond when selected

  original title: windows 7 start menu - display as a menu broken

  When you customize my Start menu in Windows 7, I chose to 'Display as a Menu', as many items as I could.  It worked well for a while, but now is broken. Now, if 'Display as a Menu' or "Display as a link" is chosen, I have to click the item to open it.  I tried to change it back in 'menu' to 'bind', I tried choose "display only" and then back to "view in the form of a menu, I rebooted. I changed the delay of menushow definition in the registry by default 400 for as little as 20.  All to nothing does not.  Any ideas?

  FYI for those who might encounter the same problem... found an easier solution.  I just put the menu start failing. The button is at the bottom of the start menu.

  I need to retrieve unicode values in the NVARCHAR of the table column and print on the mastic terminal (final intention is to write to a file in utf8 or utf16 format).

  I tried the example program provided in the developer's guide, but the printf or wprintf is not printing the characters on the terminal. When I do a C sample program using unicode characters only in the printf is it display correctly on the PuTTY terminal.

  Note: Before I used Chinese characters to test.

  You try to output as UTF-16 Unicode. I don't see an option in Putty to process UTF-16. You should output UTF-8.

  I suggest that you set and the NLS_LANG variable for export. AL32UTF8 before running your program. In your program, use normal characters (not utext/uvarchar) variables, but mark them as NCHAR using the syntax specified here to http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e10825/pc_04dat.htm#i22704 (CHARACTER SET [IS] NCHAR_CS).

• Bangla font in the form developer Oracle 10 g support

  I use database developer and 10g oracle 11g. But police uni-code Bangla support not shaped.

  In general, the fonts supported by forms are not controlled by forms.  They are a factor of the JRE, the fonts installed on the client, and in some cases, the NLS_LANG parameter in default.env.  That said, if you are not already using 10.1.2.3, I encourage you to do so.  In addition, I encourage you to consider a plan to upgrade to the latest version which is 11.1.2.2.  Using the latest version, you will be able to use the latest JRE (e.g. 7U55 or 8U05) supporting probably more fonts and languages.  Forms 10 is not certified with Java 7 or 8 and is no longer supported.

• Phantom links broken in Dreamweaver CS6

  Dreamweaver displays I have 73 broken links, but they all work in my browser (and other browsers).  Why?  How can I get Dreamweaver to recognize that the links are not broken?

  Can you share a specific example of a link that Dreamweaver is complaining? The links are created by the script (such as PHP or ASP .NET) server-side? Which can spoil Analyzer verification of links in Dreamweaver.

• Access range of a unicode font

  Is it possible to access a (local, not embedded) font and fill a table with all the police present unicode characters?

  I think in terms of it as a tool similar to the works of the Illustrator glyphs Panel. You select a font, and get a list of all glyphs in the font.

  Also possibility it is made in a TextField and see if the missing glyphs report a textWidth of 0 or another value of witness.

  Can someone tell me what mean the square brackets round the names of fonts? (As in the < MT Extra >, < MV Boli > and < symbol > fonts in this graph?)

  I tried to look into the Illustrator CS5 User Guide and it does not mention why some fonts have these supports.

  In brackets means that you do not see the police displayed in his face. It's a font of special characters or symbols and you are shown the name of the font rather than a sample.
