  Flash Player has not directly render all audio on your system unusable.  It can not.

  If you have not yet restarted, I would start there.

  After the restart, if the problem persists, start by confirming this wiring to your speakers/headphones is correct, then move the settings of volume of windows, then Control Panel > sounds to make sure its good to output is used, then all Control Panel audio exclusive on the system.

  If this does not work, I would go to the control panel > add/remove hardware and uninstall the audio card, reboot and let windows re - discover it.

  If you're still stuck, I would call your computer manufacturer or the manufacturer of the sound card and go from there.

  I just ordered a couple for the team the other day.  It took some time for our supplier of equipment start their storage.

  Hi, you don't mention what browser and version you are using, but if you installed Flash Player in Internet Explorer, go to tools, manage addons. Search for Shockwave Flash object and make sure that it is installed and activated.

  All other non - IE browsers, look in the Shockwave Flash plugin plugins folder and make sure that this option is enabled.

  I see that you seem to have two versions of Flash Player at the same time.  Please follow these instructions for a clean reinstall

  • Download http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html FP uninstaller and save it on the disk;
  • Download PS http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html Installer and save it on the disk;
  • Close all the browser windows, and then run the uninstaller downloaded;
  • Restart Windows;
  • Check C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash - remove all remaining files in there;
  • now, run the downloaded installer.

  You can list what you have now in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash

  I have a new Win7 64 bit COMP. using 32 bit Internet Explorer. I have installed flash version 10.2.152.32 WIN. I uninstalled using uninstall adobe restarted between each step as an administrator (don't know if it's important but I'm the only user listed with admin rights, but I get the screen of standard user account). Then I manually installed the new flash drive as an administrator. What Viiv version, checked all settings-trusted sites explore & internet areas-,(7 times now) I checked the add ons I am wherever I am supposed to be activated, I never received no errors, nothing was open during the installation and the screen remains black.   even tried to change the registry (I don't have the line listed in the mail from adobe on flash killer). I have run norton and checked it does not block flash player or active X controls. I'm completely at a loss for what? Help!
