Port 80 connection refused on localhost
Hello
I am trying to solve a problem that I am having with the virtual hosts in Apache 2.4 on one of my two Macs, both running El Capitan. On a Mac, use virtual hosts without a hitch on another, I get connection refused.
↪ curl -I -L test.dev 15:51:08
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Tue, 08 Dec 2015 14:51:17 GMT
Server: Apache/2.4.16 (Unix)
Last-Modified: Tue, 08 Dec 2015 08:52:04 GMT
ETag: "c-5265f1673f500"

Content-Length: 12
Content-Type: text/html
vs.
↪ curl -I -L test.dev 15:51:01
curl: (7) Failed to connect to test.dev port 80: Connection refused
My question is not on Apache or the configuration of the vhosts, / etc/hosts, etc. All that is not the issue here. The only difference between the two Macs I can find is in the Port Scan output. The right seems to have port 80 open:
Port Scanning host: 127.0.0.1
Open TCP Port: 22 ssh
Open TCP Port: 53 domain
Open TCP Port: 80 http
Open TCP Port: 88 kerberos
Open TCP Port: 445 microsoft-ds
Open TCP Port: 548 afpovertcp
Open TCP Port: 631 ipp
СКАНИРОВАНИЕ ПОРТОВ ЗАВЕРШЕНО...
While it is not bad:
Port Scanning host: 127.0.0.1
Open TCP Port: 88 kerberos
Open TCP Port: 445 microsoft-ds
Open TCP Port: 548 afpovertcp
Open TCP Port: 631 ipp
Сканирование портов завершено…
Could someone explain why port 80 is not on this machine and how do I enable it?
All the best,
Tench
To make sure that port 80 is open for TCP on all interfaces, I added
pass in proto tcp from any to any port 80
à /etc.pf.conf
. Reloading of pfctl(8) didn't quite do the trick, but did a reboot. Now, the port appears as open in the port scan, and my virtual hosts are served as it should.

On ESX 4.0.0 Update 1.

I am able to ssh on the server as well as the use of WinSCP without any problem.
I can connect with the VI Client also without problem.
Any ideas?
The problem has been resolved.
The fix:
=====
# vimsh-e - n/hostsvc/hostsummary | grep inMaintenanceMode
Using the libcrypto, version 90809F
inMaintenanceMode = false,
# vim-cmd/hostsvc/hostsummary | grep inMaintenanceMode
inMaintenanceMode = false,
Rationality for the problem is these commands (vim - FCM or vimsh) were unable to communicate due to lack of xinetd process.

/ * Further consideration on the problem of starting XINETD * /.
Further examination shows that the xinetd is unable to start because he believed NETWORK unavailable.
Starting xinetd uses the contents of the sysconfig file where there was an entry incorrect "NETWORKINcesv = yes". We have corrected this entry and restarted xinetd process.
After this correction, xinetd is restarted, the system seems to be normal.

FTP connection refused with FTP client to open the port in the firewall ESX
Hello.
I just installed an esx 3.5 U4. We have an FTP server where we all night to make a copy of all our VM.
This ESX may not put the files in the FTP server... I open the FTP client port on the 'profile terms' - & gt; Firewall tab without problems and
I can connect with the FTP server... but... I can't do a LS for example, can I change to a different folder, I try with passive mode works... but
It does not work.
FTP server works well because other ESX work with her, and I do my windows XP with the same user/pass login and it works...
Any idea?
Thank you very much

Looks like the second TCP connection for file transfer (which is also used in the list of directories) from the client FTP on the server fell. Have you tried completely disabling the firewall with esxcfg-firewall - allowOutgoing (can try esxcfg-firewall - allowIncoming, although it should not be necessary in the passive FTP mode)? This command sets the iptables chains of ENTRY and EXIT to accept instead of the fall.
I tried esxcfg-firewall - e ftpClient and it worked fine for me.
You could also post your esxcfg-firewall OUTPUT string parameters - q.

I work on the Jdeveloper/MAF 12.1.3 tutorial and have successfully tested my rest WebServices.
Consuming web services REST-JSON in Mobile Applications with Oracle Mobile Application Framework
I've successfully deployed my MAF base app both an Android device and the Android emulator. When I run the application, I get the below error:
12-31 19:39:19.453: D/GVC (4898): [SEVERE - oracle.adfmf.framework - RestTransportLayer - readResponse] ERROR: REST Transport - read - javax.microedition.io.ConnectionNotFoundException: unable to connect to 127.0.0.1 on port 7101: java.net.ConnectException: connection refused
I changed the 127.0.0.1 localhost - I test my Web service successfully from within JDeveloper, but when the MAF app connects, it gives the connection refused error above ideas?
It was my firewall.
The 10.0.2.2 didn't work.
I finally allowed to access the device and it worked.
Thank you all.

Why "connection refused to host" in registry.rebind ()?
My TestBind0 (code below) program trying to find/create a registry and link a GPO.
Find/create: it tests all first if there is already a record on that port; If this isn't the case, then it tries to create a.
The program tries to find/create the registry on ports 40654, 50876 30321, 33445, 1099, in that order, until what he managed both to create the register, and bind the object.
Why TestBind0 up at each attempt

> It tests first if there is already a record on that port; If this isn't the case, then it tries to create a.
It's back to the front. You should try to create one with LocateRegistry.createRegistry (), then if that fails, use LocateRegistry.getRegistry () on the registry you now know to exist.
You assume that "getRegistry()" throws an exception if the registry does not exist. There is no that. He built just a draft of registry. It does nothing on the network at all.

Connection Refused - violation of policy
Hello
Install a new LRT224 and we see a lot of "Connection Refused - violation of policy" in the firewall log messages. There seems to be several LAN addresses on the number of ports desintation ports 80 or 443 different public IPs (eth1).
The Setup is with two FTTN WAN1 network as primary connections and WAN2 as backup (without load balancing). Add access for port forwarding rules. A couple of basic QoS rules for some IPs intranet (aren't those appearing in firewall logs). Everything is by default/standard configuration.
I've seen forums associated to the routers of the RV series and one for the LRT224 but without any solution. Has there been any update to this?
Thank you
The case concerned a repeal builtin (domestic policy) of the "attack Split - TCP Handshake", obviously builtin with the LRT2x4 according to the messages displayed in the journal.
Initialization of the session is postponed the message "Connection refused - violation of policy" indicates
More details can be found here:
TCP connection establishment procedure: the "Three-Way Handshake.
If it's serious annooying can look for a way out (ignore) the check or the look of alternative measures.
Hope this helps.

Hello
My system is running under the power of Attorney and I confifured mds setting of Article number: DB-00047.
After this adjustment, I am able to do the http connection.
I have downloaded the open source XMPP from this link. and I'm doing the connection socket with my Gmail now, but through it throw net.rim.device.cldc.io.ippp.SocketBaseIOException: connection refused: exception, but when I add on the side of true device he throw "java.io.IOException: Peer refused the connection.
final StreamConnection connection = (StreamConnection) Connector.open("socket://" + this.host + ":" + this.port, Connector.READ_WRITE);
I also tried adding deviceside = 'true' and 'false' parameter but I got same result.please help where I am doing wrong or it is still problem of proxy that do not allow the socket connection. Thoughts or ideas is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Currently, the MDS - CS Simulator allows only proxies be set for straight HTTP connections.
Kind regards

vCO 5.5.2.1951762 getting connection refused when adding a vCenter
I hope someone can help here. We have two servers separate vCO using the same vCenter. Both of them have problems connecting to the same vCenter. If I try a different vCenter, no problem. This should remove the vCO to the equation and prove that something is happening with the vCenter. We've updated vCenter 5.5 2 updated about two weeks ago and have not had any problems until yesterday. I wonder if this is the cause, and if anyone else has encountered this problem?
Weirder still is, I am able to get a license of this same vCenter, who must use the same SOAP WS.
Connectivity to the vCenter what API is confirmed and the DNS name resolves. I am able to pull down this wsdl with wget on the server of the vCO.
SDK/vimService.wsdl
This is recorded in the vCO in the vCenter admin page.
Exception, ' java.net.ConnectException: connection refused '

Hello
I meant to return and from what I've found on this. I had this problem. vCO does not use only TCP/443, but also TCP/80. Our vCenter which was not has its port http TCP/81 value. It was probably due to a conflict at installation time. The person who installs to vCenter took a shortcut and changed the port. It is all very well until you get to where I was. Make sure that you use the standard ports in vCenter, and then try again. This is what was causing my issue and was originally "Connection refused" on TCP/80. I was about to start tcpdump to see what was going on until it has been. Let me know and good luck.

Users to push AD on Horizon - sync error - connection refused
Hi all
I'm Configuration Manager Application Horizon atm. I sent them both. OVF files, network settings, enabled with token etc all right.
In the Setup Wizard that I have in my field, I can see my users when I filter and can select my group. The last step of the installation wizard is "pushing ahead".
Unfortunately, it won't grow. I get the following errors:Push on the Horizon: synchronization of actions cannot be calculated at this time. Please try again later.
And the menu alerts, I get this: "otherError: unable to complete sync due to a problem with the service: request failed: connection refused"On this picture you can see the Bell on the horizon, but I get the error ' can' sync actions... "
instead of this form: http://letusgovirtual.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/push-to-Horizon.pngI already opened the port 443 & 636 firewall, does not work. The name of my group is not with a space between.
What Miss me? If someone can point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful.
Please enter you.
The service - will and the connector must trust each other certificates. Best is to use a signed public certificate. In the menu of the console of the connector, you can download the cert of the AV service. This should make the trust service connector - goes.
Set up certificates. is a little bit of work to be honest. You must build a certificate chain and save it as a file of keys to TC and then manually copy the keystore in the service - will.
What do you mean hostname for the service - go? You should be able to use what you want. Personally, I often use horizon.domain.com or workspace.domain.com.

Connection to the machine to ESX4 Wizard fails with "connection refused".
Environment: ESX 4 server, hosting VMware Studio 2.0 (final version), will deploy device created in the same ESX host.
-
In my profile generation, generation settings section, I chose VMware ESX/ESXi 4.x and entered the Connection Wizard...
Host, Port, user, password fields are filled.
Connection test fails with the following message is displayed:
Failed: error connecting to the server " " https://x.x.x.x:443/sdk/vimService ': connection refused
My initial inspection is that it is probably caused by the server proxy/ISA on our network. It is know to cause some problems with https connections and some browsers. I am not sure that it is the first cause, but this is my first guess.* *.
There are balls that can confirm?
Is it possible to force a non-secure http connection?
No, it's not a way to connect by using http.
Try the following:
stop /etc/init.d/VAMI-SFCB
http_proxy = / opt/vmware/sbin/vami-sfcbdhttp://your_proxy:proxy_port;
Now, try the user interface.

Overview of performance connection refused
If you are using a remote (vClient) connection to vCenter server, why my proxy think information coming from localhost (127.0.0.1) and blocks the pretty graphics to appear? In other words, what happens behind the scenes when I hit the 'button' performance overview in vClient on my desk? (see the error message below)
Unable to display Page - Web server refused the connection.
Error code 10061: connection refused
Background: the server you are trying to access has refused the connection with the gateway. This usually results from trying to connect to a service that is not active on the server.
DATE: 09/09/2009
Server: ISA039
Source: Remote server
I think for some reason VI client, try to access 127.0.0.1, but it is send to the proxy. It seems to use the IE proxy setting. If you use the manual configuration of the proxy, you can try to circumvent 127.0.0.1. If you use autodetect setting, you will need to get around to the isa server computer.

OK, I get the dreaded java.rmi.ConnectException: connection refused to host: Connection timed out
I've been Googling for solutions for a while and no success, although many people have been in this boat before.
java.rmi.ConnectException: connection refused to host: 169.254.105.9; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect
I ping the server from the client. I can telnet to the 169.254.105.9 1099 very well. I have disabled all firewall, I think - although company policy is we have to run McAfee and seems to have no control over that. When I run the client and server on the same system using localhost everything works fine.
Can anyone think of other things I could try to understand why my RMI does not connect? Are there diagnoses more I can try?
Cheers, EricSystem.setProperty call ("java.rmi.server.hostname", "150.247.94.130");
has no effect. I call it on the side of the client and the server before making any calls to the RMI API. I always get
Set it on the server only. That's what it's for. It touches what IP address is placed in the heel when exporting. If you need to call it before you build/export all remote objects, and that probably includes the registry.
