portability of the signing between the different versions of JDE tool

The signature tool is usable on COD files produced by a previous revision of JDE and intended for an earlier version of the operating system?  I ask because I'm trying to create an automated build process and want to build to 4.0.2 even if the '-Pei password ' option appears arrived to JDE 4.3.0.  Sorry if I missed an answer appreciated existing pointer RTFM.

I produce for 4.2.1 and use only 1 signature tool (with the - password option) in my automated ant scripts.

  • Using variables shared between the different versions of labview

    Hello

I look at the use of variables shared between two different versions of LabVIEW. We have a 2 of the PXI system and a single PC. We are currently updating the code on the PXI system to 2014, but the PC still work 8.2.1. We now need a map of ARINC-429, which is executed only 2009 +, that is why we are to day. First tests show that shared variables do not communicate between the two. I think that the reason may be that the PXI running the version of variable motor 2014 shared, while the PC is running 8.2.1, but I don't know if it is precisely for this reason it does not work. Is there a way to communicate between two different versions of LabVIEW with shared Variables?

    Thank you!

    SOLUTION

There are two key elements in the process of installing software that are essential for PXI to communicate with another version of LabVIEW: Legacy Server Support Variable and Variable Support of Legacy Protocol. The first, in charge of the Protocol, was automatically installed through the selection of the other ingredients (although I do not know which triggered its installation). The second has been nested in the Protocol, but was not selected automatically.

The Protocol allows the PXI 2014 connect to shared variables hosted by devices 8.6 or an earlier versions, while the server allows before 2009 devices to communicate to shared variables hosted on PXI of 2014 (which was the initial problem)!

  • VCS ExpressWay and control over the different Versions

    Hello world

Can be used on a newer VCS Highway then control VCS?

Currently we have a highway of VCS and a tester of VCS X6.1 running. I plan to upgrade to X7.2.1 and will temporarily have the South, the new version with the old version running control.

I don't see any documentation that may not be completed. Especially since X7.2.1 had interop tests already performed with X6.x.

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

Please check the following page 8, section "Prerequisites", document

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/VCs/config_guide/Cisco_VCS_Basic_Configuration_Control_with_Expressway_Deployment_Guide_X7-2.PDF

    Prerequisites

Before you begin the configuration of the system, make sure that you have access to:

-Guide the administrator of VCS and VCS Getting Started Guide (for reference purposes)

-control of VCS running the version X 5 or later

-a PC connected by Ethernet to a local network that allows to route HTTP (S) traffic to the VCS

-a web browser runs on the PC

-a serial interface on the PC and the cable (if the initial configuration must be performed on the interface series)

Answer to your question, there is no problem if VCSE and VCSC installed on versions of different software.

I'm not sure you'll find too much documentation on the exact details.
    If you go to http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/hyperion-supported-platforms.html
It should give you an idea of the minimum specifications for each version.

After the installation of the new v5.0.0. VmWare Player on Win7 hostOS I improved as VmWare Tools in CentOS guestOS.

After that (and restart) I wanted to check/verify the current installed version of VmWare Tools and entered (as usual in previous versions):

    VMware-toolbox - version

Unfortunately, the Terminal was told: "unknown command".

    Who is wrong?

If not, how can I check the currently installed version of VmWare Tools?

    Matt

    Try the following command:

    vmware-toolbox-cmd --version

It reported the following on my setup:

  • Between the different versions of Esxi HA

Is it posible to create HA between esxi 3.5 and 5? If so, what can I do, what cant and what are the specific requirements should I look?

    Thank you all

Digging a bit, discovered ANdré is right and I was wrong. I was also thought by the difference of FDM MAO x, but this is related to the version of vCenter to ESX versions. vCenter 4.1 to set aam on ESX and vCenter 5 installs FDM.

According to the doc of availability: http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/vsphere-esxi-vcenter-server-50-availability-guide.pdf page 24:

NOTE the ESX/ESXi 3.5 hosts are supported by vSphere HA but must include a fix for a problem
involving the locks on files. For ESX 3.5 hosts, you must apply the patch ESX350-201012401-SG, while for ESXi 3.5
You must apply the required patch ESXe350-201012401-I-b octies patches should be applied before
    apply these patches.

These patches are required for ESX 3.5 is able to run the FDM sent by vCenter.

Enkidoe sorry for the wrong information. Thanks Andre for the light.

  • Why the different version displayed?

    Hello

    EBS R12.1.1
    OEL 5.4

We have and existing instance EBS R12 DEV/CRP1. Until functional consultants make changes. I cloned it to CRP2 instance for the next and tests. It's been a while we started it, maybe after 4 months we have completed CRP1. I remembered that I have apply patches in both instances. But what surprised me is that when I check the
Oracle Apps CPR2 cloned version (window > HELP > about Oracle Apps) version is R12.1.2, while the source is R12.1.1. I can't be able to update because I have not done yet any upgrade. If I was
able to appy a patch accidentally making R12.1.2. As far as I know there are a lot of patches to upgrade to apply for R12.1.1 to become R12.1.2.

    It happened to someone too?

    Help, please...

    Thank you very much

  • Having problems connecting to the different versions of sql - VM?

I'm a little rusty.  It's been about 5 years since I did my last CF site, used since.  So now I'm trying to get a dev server configuration again and do in VirtualBox.  I installed and tried CF7 and SQL 2000, CF 9 and SQL Express 2005 and 2008 and still get an error when you try to configure a data source CF.  I read on the realization that the IP and port 1433 is on issue and SQL 2000, it does not appear to be activated automatically.  I installed SQL in the mixed mode authentication but me made mistakes by trying to use the connection his I have install when installing SQL.

Is there a problem with setting up a Windows Server 2003 or 2008 trial edition with SQL 2000/2008 and CF 7/8/9 in a virtual machine?  I should just use and old P4 machine I have available?

If this is not the case, how/where can I get help to get this small but important problem solved?  Is there an etc video, tutorial,. ?  Looks like there are a lot of similar positions at this topic.  I cut and paste error here if anyone can help.

    Thank you.

    * use mixed mode authentication

    * Make sure that the user has appropriate permissions to DB objects to what he will need to access

    * is that make sure that TCP/IP is enabled in the network configuration

    * Make sure that the port on which it is listening.  From memory, there is a port/IP for each logic card Ref and one for the entire batch (or something like that... it's been awhile).  Make sure they are well positioned.  The dev, I just put it to the entire batch (not knowing any better, and "how it works").  It's the only step never caused me problems... just because I wasn't paying attention to the user interface correctly.

    You can tell us pls:

    (a) the settings that you use for the DSN (except the password);

    (b) the equivalent settings on the DB itself

Can you telnet to the port/address DB to look, from the CF Server?

  • Separate cod file, necessary tool for different versions of the signature BONE?

    Hi all

I installed the blackberry JDE 1.3.0 eclipse plugin that contains the default value
package inside plugins, now using the url net.RIM.ejde.componentpack6.0.0_6.0.0.30
http://www.BlackBerry.com/go/eclipseupdate/3.6/Java download packages of components for 5.0 etc.. After that the signing tool will be installed with this eclipse.

My question is if my application will be used for all versions of the OS, so what do I do?

1 should I I generate a single file of cod for 4.x or it should be necessary to generate a separate file of cod to 4.5.0, 4.6.0 4.7.0

2 If am will have to sign the cod of the file then I need to install the tool to separate signature for each operating system? or a unique signature tool installed in eclipse itself is enough to sign all the cod files that are generated in the different versions of the OS?

can any please help me understand these things

    Thanks in advance,

    Kitty

This signature tool is the same for all levels of the operating system. I usually use the tool last signature, even for the 4.2 signing apps.

Compiled cod are compatible forward but not backward.  So, if you compile using OS 4.5 it can work in devices running OS 4.5 and above.  However if you compile in OS 6.0, then it is not supported on devices running something more than that.

You will find that you might want to use the facilities available in newer versions on the new phones, so you will need to compile separately in this case.  There are a variety of options to achieve this, but I would look first for the pre-processor.

There is a small problem in OS 4.7, so if I develop for OS 4.5 - OS 6.0 and the code will be the same for all devices, I usually provide two builds, one for pre OS 4.7 and the other to post that.
