  I own an ASUS VW224 VGA monitor and a Portege R600 13Z. Is the native resolution of 1680 x 1050 and directly on VGA cable (do not know if there is a docking station). GPU driver date is 31.03.2010 version 8.15.10.2104 (newest I think).

  The problem is that the screen is blinking. The darker the area displayed the strongest flicker is perceived. It's a "horizontal flicker", like the horizontal lines are pursuing each other up and down the screen. It is very annoying.

  Since the laptop screen itself or the monitor with another computer ASUS show any flickers, I think that the problem is rooted in the described configuration interaction. I can set different settings on the monitor itself. Related to the problem could be 50 and 54 of Phase clock.

  Windows tells me in config monitor refresh rate is 60. However, refresh rates and clock can be set to the same without change.

  The meaning of phase I don't know.
  Any ideas to solve the problem?

  Please check if the flicker would be available using the battery power.

  I've been reading about such symptoms on external monitors.
  In most cases the use of the power supply cable 3 cord would solve this problem.

  Portege R600-13Z running XP Pro.

  Recently updated the firmware and the Wireless Manager to try to get 3g / GPRS comms to work at all. Updated worked a treat and have now great comms.

  Utility of SMS does not work too well if. Very, very slow or crashes.

  Wierdness: out the SIM card to use the phone to send a few texts and with the SIM on SMS utility works very well (!) starts, allows composition, everything except the real /sending/ of the text, which is of course not possible because the SIM card is somewhere else.

  Anyone encountered this problem, and is there a solution?

  Hmm I m not very well why this happens, but I know it s not recommended to insert the SIM card if the system is already running.
  You must shut down the laptop, must insert the SIM card and then you should power the device in place.
  Then you could test this once more.

  There's another piece on textbooks for her number: 665354-001, but I could not confirm through research engine search or shop online.

  I have a HP dv9723cl that I finally gave up on due to some problems with the motherboard that no one seemed to have ideas for.   I need to replace the LCD of the HP Pavilion DV6-6110us laptop computer.   I'm not sure of the correct reference number or if several different reference numbers can be used.   The manual indicates 640445-001 HP or HP 653378-001 can be used.  It is not clear on the question of whether the two can be used or when the other is needed.   When the disassembly of the screen on the screen part number is 666933-001.   All three can be used.  New pilots will be needed for any of them.  I already ordered the HP 653378-001 and want to be sure that it will work before you start the installation.    Thanks in advance for any guidance.

  You don't have to worry on the part numbers. 640445-001 is a resolution screen 15.6 "common, but the 653378-001 is a full HD screen which is much better than the other. You will not need all the drivers when the operating system detects the new the old driver installation screen (adjusts automatically the required parameters) must manage the new resolution.
