  Well, the answer is that you cannot download all Flash video and watch offline.  If the content provider is to make a .flv video available via HTTP, it is pretty easy.  If they use the most advanced available via video features premium Flash video distribution features (Platform TV Everywhere |) Adobe Primetime ), then probably not.

  If you feel that your subscription with this particular content provider gives you right to copies of their videos offline, I suggest having this conversation with their tech support people.  There are simply too many possible ways to stream video within the Flash ecosystem to give you definitive answers without inside knowledge of how that content provider designed their video distribution systems.

  I read that demoralize him articles everywhere on the great navigators pushing Flash to the side and supporting the HTML5 for awhile now. I have a personal site that I keep and put a decent amount of work using the design. At the heart of the site is driven by external classfiles AS3 using Greensock libraries. Also, I went 3D with 2D content content using the Framework Starling and Away3D libraries. I am researching the possibilities of creating the same types of drawings in HTML5, if possible. Greensock already fully supports HTML5 with its new libraries GSAP. Starling and Away3D I'm not so sure...

  I would love to continue to grow in the same method, using FlashCC, but this is already limited to only desktop browsers. That's fine with me, if it remains bearable on workstations, but at this point I don't really know how well supported Flash will remain same in desktop browsers. I must admit that my real job keeps me pretty busy that my search time is quite limited, so I might be way off the coast.

  Is there any known and efficient workflow for the transition from a site that only uses external AS3 classFiles and 2D or 3D to the HTML5 canvas content? Is this even worth it if I'm comfortable with only to have the support of desktop browser? It seems to me that, at least in the office environment, Flash will retain a strong foot.

  I use the package full creative suite + FlashDevelop as my toolkit and have been reading upward on the discussion of FlashCC targeting HTML5 canvas. It's really interesting to me, but at the same time it seems to work with SWF movies which contain all their ActionScript. It is not the structure that I followed at all, and it wouldn't really work-able at the port just the classFiles external back into SWF movies since not all the .as files has a SWF that is directly related. In other words, I wonder if it is still possible for me to consider a transitional workflow to HTML5 canvas? It seems at some point I might have to bite the bullet and refactor everything from the beginning, which I must admit is not an appetizing idea.

  I just want to start a discussion with Adobe and other creators out there using entirely external .as files and juggle several libraries in their Flash projects for the future. I want to see what workflows are out there to conquer this kind of problem and if supported in the desktop browser environment is even really a problem.

  I think you should read more and worry less. Microsoft include Flash Player in IE and Edge. Google include Flash player in Chrome. Firefox Announces recently committed to the development of a Flash plugin, even if they cease to support other plugins. I don't think that Apple will stop supporting plugins at all.

  Thus, all current users of your will see your site for at least the next few years.

  When you have installed iTunes, and you download it from anywhere other than the Apple servers. There is a new version of the 12.3.2.35 installer that came out some time around 23/24, which can solve the problem for you. Download and install on your existing copy.

  Try to see if I've implemented these flash videos correctly. Basically,.

  1. I create one in Florida file in Flash CC.

  2 import a video, which allows me to choose a flv file already created.

  3. choose a skin for the menu.

  When I test it... all controls work except the maximize button. This of course, prevents me from using it on my site because I have all sizes small enough video, but the user of the options to make it bigger.

  That you use in a safety device in the current versions of the office.  Content Flash is click-to-play in office documents.  Unfortunately, one of the main vectors of infection of malicious software inside corporate networks was end users clicking on legitimate-looking office with the plug-in embedded content documents.  To mitigate this risk of infection, content incorporated as SWFs are click-to-play. If it were possible to bypass security dialog boxes, they would not provide a valid defense against this attack vector.

  If you're looking to see a simple Flash animation, you are probably best to convert to video.  You can do this directly from Flash Professional, as long as you have the original files from the source (.fla).   If you do not have the .fla, you could do the hacky thing and use a screenshot as Adobe Captivate utility / Camtasia Studio / etc - to make a video recording of the animation playing on the local computer.

  If you are looking to integrate a complex interactive element based on Flash in the document, then, you should probably think to place these items on a Web site and bind it to the powerpoint presentation.  In my opinion, it would be preferable to move away from this use case than to train your students to ignore the Security dialog boxes that really do provide significant barriers to potential attackers.

  (a) play, pause and move to a specific (SMPTE) position in a video.
  (b) a section of the video in a loop (with two positions and a loop control)
  (c) change the audio volume.
  (I know that this is done with the video player controls, but I need to interact with the page.)
  
  (3) have links * of * videos to the page/DOM - i.e., when the video is running, JavaScript events should be sent to the page for hide/load/update content - either automatically or by the user (by clicking the video embedded at one point - if possible, with the hotspots so options can be triggered; similar to a DVD menu).
  
  I would like to do the same with the audio. So I'm looking essentially a mechanism post a link to and from content in real time.

  -The person with some knowledge of HTML/JavaScript and a stopwatch :) built the page, incorporates the player (s) and sets benchmarks that happen at certain positions. Pages, SWF, FLV and MP3 HTML files are uploaded to a plain vanilla HTTP server.
  
  Is this a realistic scenario? That is, can we buy (or have someone develop) a player so that no tinkering with no Flash itself is necessary once we have set up this workflow?
