• Qosmio G30-204 - the CPU temperature is high

  OK, so I have a problem of overheating with Qosmio G30-204. It seems that in the course of suspend the CPU temperature is high, I used SpeedFan to confirm this. EG + 70 degrees C after 5 minutes. 90 + degrees if left any longer!

  I find it very frustrating to say the least. This unit has served sentence. I had not yet touched in nearly two years the initial feeding has stopped working. The original power box split as it was a serious risk to my health and still less damage would could have been done to the machine! How to create a product that at least that I've updated the BIOS Toshiba fry the GPU!

  Needless to say that I did pretty well as soon as I got the camera. What can be done to fix this problem? If anything like that? It makes me not want / trust buy another Toshiba product.

  In your case I don't he say s a nuisance Toshiba. It can be another problem as Akuma written and this means that it has nothing to do with Toshiba.

  For me it s definitely dust in the heat sink, especially if you do not clean your laptop before. You must use the jet of compressed air to blow the dust from the cooling fans. It only takes 5 minutes and should be made from time to time because it s normal behavior which, after a certain time dust, blocking the cooling fan.

• sudden problem with HP Pavilion dv6-2157wm laptop

  Hello.  About 2 weeks ago, my laptop (a HP Pavilion dv6 model) worked very well.  It has been plugged in the power cord and adapter at the time.  One day, I went to check my emails and the laptop suddenly acted like it has been restarted, then it turns off completely.

  I waited a few minutes for re - turn on the laptop, but it does at all.  I unplugged the power cord and plugged in the power cord into the computer slot, but the led next to the power cord housing doesn't appear as it normally does when it is plugged.

  Also, when I pressed the power button to turn my phone back on, it lights.  Instead of this, a light in the front of the laptop (under the symbol of lightning bolt) flashes 3 times and then stopped flashing.  I took the battery and put it again after a few seconds, but it won't always turn.

  I noticed that the cord of the power box was nice and warm when the laptop shut down suddenly, as it was the laptop (despite the use of a laptop to refresh at the bottom of the laptop fan). The model number of the cord is WASGV0CL9YIVCU.

  What is happening with my laptop?  I use this unit to my secular Ministry work and need to work as soon as POSSIBLE!  I don't know if it's the power cord which broke or the battery needs to be replaced.  I bought the laptop in early 2010 and kept in good condition since then.  Help, please!

  I understand you're Pavilion dv6 laptop does not light.

  The symptoms you have described would indicate the AC adapter or power cord no longer works. The laptop flashing lightning bolt symbol is the BIOS say you there is not enough power to turn on the laptop. If the adapter is connected, then it would be safe to say that the adapter is not power to the laptop, which would mean that the battery cannot be recharged.

  My t61p wifi works at home. After I take it home to the campus under the mode 'sleep', the connection of campus wifi keeps "restricted access".

  After that I reinstalled the driver for the wireless card, it works well again - for temporary.

  So, whenever I move my laptop to another location in mode 'sleep', I have to reinstall the driver for the wireless card, or to disable the card wifi in Device Manager and then turn it back on... or otherwise I have to turn off my laptop each time.

  Someone had the same problem? Is there a solution more reinstall OS...

  You can also try to use Device Manager to change the settings for the network card power management.

  To disable this setting in Device Manager, expand network adapters, click the map, click Properties, click the power management tab and then clear the 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power box." [assuming that if it is checked]

  If still in vain, try logins to uninstall and reinstall wireless drivers.

• The network bridge does not connect after resume the S3, Windows 7 x 64 & x 86.

  I installed a network bridge between my wireless network card and a local LAN port on my motherboard, I have my xbox connected to the LAN port and the wireless card has the connection to the internet.  Everything works as expected and I have full access to the internet on PC and xbox.  Issues occurs when I upgraded my PC to sleep and then wake the system, wireless connection works as expected and can see my router but the network bridge not be re - not connecting, I have to disable the bridge then turn it back on until it will work...
  The same Vista configuration worked without problem.

  I'm having the same problem as you, I'm trying to use my laptop to connect my Xbox 360 to my wireless network. It works very well, I have to disable and then re-enable the Miniport MAC bridge or a connection to the Local network after every sleep sleep before that it will work again.

  I noticed that I can not ping even the Xbox until one of these actions is carried out, I don't think that it is actually a problem with the network bridge, but with the ethernet connection (Marvell Yukon 88E8038 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller for me). I agree I think that it is an OS problem because I also do not experience the problem with ICS but then cannot be a State of NAT open for the 360.

  An obvious solution is a script that you can run to disable and re-enable the connection to the Local network, someone there at least an easy way to do this?

  EDIT: actually I think I just solved the problem by doing exactly the opposite of what I saw as the solution proposed several other places.

  1. open Device Manager

  2. Select the network adapters, find your ethernet card, do a right click on it and go to properties

  3. click on the power management tab.

  4. make sure that the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" box IS COCHEE

  5. apply the settings, and then click OK.

• Missing battery icon. Quite simply, it isn't here.

  I have a HP Compaq Presario F765EA under Vista Home Premium laptop. I used this laptop very happy for 10 months, but recently, the battery in the notification area icon disappeared. I put my computer in hibernation, started rising again and when I looked, it wasn't there. Naturally, I click on it, click on properties then the Notification area tab, but when I looked at the power box was the one who was gray. the problem occurred shortly before, but a few quick reboots sorted. But I rebooted about three times since then, nothing helps. I recently connected to 2 different networks, not at the same time, but soon enough. Also, but it's probably not related, I alo connected to 2 different secondary screens in quick succession too.

  If anyone else is having this problem, he has had in the past or had an experience that allows them to know the cause and the solution of the problem, simply reply with this knowledge.

  Hello, I got new laptop on December 27. I was enjoying it until December 30, where I started to keep losing linking where my Skype calls would end, and my pages Web wouldn't load. I'd say I was on a connection limited despite the fact that I'm in the bathroom in front of my Home Hub and get the strength of the great signal on my more devices. Disconnect and reconnect seem to fix, but it's getting annoying that I can't play games online for about 15 minutes without having limited access.

  I use sonys picture motion browser software to get the raw files off a Sony HD camera and on my hard drive (a separate physical disk from the operating system drive). I shoot the m2ts files in my project and as soon as I have a m2ts video in the timeline and play it, the sound will start but the video will lag, showing the same frame for 15-20 seconds before jumping awkwardly to another frame. If I let the video game latecomers worsens and the audio quality will start to deteriorate to the point where the voice sounds like they are fed through a pedal distortion guitar or something. I found that if I go to edit > Preferences > Audio hardware and set the default device back to 'First Pro ADM Sound' and then right towards "Lamda" ASIO it sort of "pop", the sound card and the clip will play smoothly for a few minutes until the video starts late and then the audio starts degrading to the distorted voice and I go 'pop' sound card again. Depending on the size of the project I am working on I can just to do this just once or twice during a shift of 8 hours and other projects (like today) I have to do every couple minutes.

  Just recently, I deal with a similar situation from my Panasonic AVCHD camera and the box that I had just did not have the ponies to treat. I have since bought a new box that is more reasonable, but I also put in place a step in my workflow.

  Because I'm only producing a standard def output, my first step is to convert the files .mts of my camera SD files uncompressed via a program that Panasonic provides for this purpose. This gives my release of performance system much more to work, because I'd rather have my box burn CPU cycles on reading, rendering, etc. to chip away the extra bandwidth that I don't need the HD source material.

  Initially, I found that my lower power box treat reading an AVCHD video line, but when I started layering multiple video tracks playback would stutter, cough and the direction the nearest pub. This technique made me all night with this box in anticipation of a new arrived, and of course puts less load on the new box as well.
