  Simply go to the designer and file > Options. Select Catalog and uncheck the top, Forbid-properties of the output of the data object. Reopen the catalog browser and you can change the properties. You can also change the datasource.xml and you can override the values of the catalog.

  You cannot change fan speed yourself, because there is no option in the Bios. I also tried to change with utilities like a fan speed control utility. But I couldn't stand it. Perhaps, someday they will out of the Bios with support for fan speed control. :)
