  I have an entry form where the user enters data and click on the button create which then inserts a record into a table.

  I want to do a few p/sql additional treatment immediately after the record is inserted, using the value of the primary key.

  I tried to create a process page after submit as well as a DA pull on the change of the primary key element, but nothing does.

  Make sure that after settlement it is normally a reset page call, is perhaps what kills the variables you are trying to access.  You should put your mail send processes PRIOR to the reset page process...

  I created the "receipt" form sample.  This is a page of 'form on the report '.  During file creation, I want to set the FINANCIAL_YEAR column value variable of G_FINANCIAL_YEAR and RECEIPT_NO with the return value of pl/sql by questioning the last reception according to the RECEIPT table.  How can I do these things in the form?  I use APEX 4.2.6 EPG.

  Both these two columns (FINANCIAL_YEAR & RECEIPT_NO) are part of the primary key.

  So, I can look into it and determine the problem.

  Meanwhile, in the screenshot above, it looks like you use display only one Type of item to the point of the exercise.

  So, to access the element of fiscal year-> settings-> Set to Save Session State to Yes.

  Then try again.

  Could not set the property to processFormRequest. As I mentioned before, you have 2 options.

  1 true/false value declaratively or in PR

  2 attach an attribute of the VO property Render/people with reduced mobility.

  If this isn't the case, PPR, another page submit event must occur for this is reflected.

• skillbuilders modal page: how to submit the page parent after closing modal window

  Hello.

  I use Apex 4.2.1 on mod_plsql and Oracle 11 g 3.

  I installed version 2.0 of plugin Skillbuilders Page modal.

  In may, app, page 7 presents a button.  When you click on it, page 6 is displayed as a modal popup.  Users can change this modal page form fields and then click on a "submit" button.  This, in turn, automatically closes the modal page.  Users seek then to page 'parent' (page 7).  It all works very well.

  My problem: Page 6 (modal page) contains a collection of Apex.  This collection is updated when users click the submit button.  It is this collection to be displayed with the data updated on the page "parent" (page 7).  And so, I need to automatically send page 7 when the modal page closes automatically after clicking submit on the modal page.

  I tried a dynamic action that performs an action of "submit page" whenever the user clicks on the button send in the modal page.  But because the plugin uses an iframe to display the modal page, the action of page submit real that happens in the iframe, not in the 'parent' page (page 7).  When the modal page closes automatically, users are left looking at the page of 'parent' (page 7) with the previous data (not updated).  I have to manually refresh the page (via the browser) to see the data updates to the collection.

  And then, does anyone know how to automatically return the page of 'parent' when the modal window closes automatically?

  Your dynamic action automatic closing has not been set correctly. The action is not triggered on a specific item, but rather on the 'document '. Your selection should be 'Élément DOM' and the element must be "document".

  (Note that if you use several modal pages on one page, this action triggers for each of them. You can use the 'modal page id' in the creation of the page modal DAs must be able to stand out in outreach. You can find this in the documentation, too.)

• How does the APEX 5 'Refresh' Action? Unable to refresh the page items.

  I'm 5 APEX developed a page with both regions. Goal is to show the number of cells on the main area and allow to update the same number of cells from another region on the same page.

  Region 1: Added a view-only point P2_CELL_NUMBER_SHOW seen source of sql return the unique value. Like "Select cell_number of user_cell."

  Region 2 (hide this region during the loading of the page): adding an item of text P2_CELL_NUMBER_UPDATED. This region has added a button "Apply Changes". During the click on added dynamic actions in the following order:

  (a) PLSQL: Null; Submit article: P2_CELL_NUMBER_UPDATED

  (b) PLSQL: the UPDATE call sql statement to update the number of cells in the database table.

  (c) masking region 2 and region 1 via java script list.

  (d) refresh region 1 (here I expect at this point P2_CELL_NUMBER_SHOW should show the new update on the step value b). But get the old value that was earlier on region 1. But when submitting the page then region 1 get the new value.

  So, does send the page or set the session state to get the new value on region 1? Will update no help in this situation?

  The dynamic Action of the type "Refresh", does not work on the elements and entry areas with elements of entry. It is intended for regions of report with PPR (partial Page Refresh) allowed namely interactive reports, classic and graphic regions.

  There is a problem in the APEX when I open a modal page-> submit modal page and refresh parent region (report one).

  When I first open a report from the region and click the modal page, everything is ok:

  

  Modal page values are defined in the sense of link that open to it.

  Submit after modal page by button (there is a process of dialogue), the dialog box is closed. On the parent page, there is a DA - dialogue close report parent refresh.

  After update - waiting indicator is indicated - all the element referenced in the link to open modal values are defined as empty values.

  

  Is there a problem in the links when I use it it set the values of the elements of the page? (not report items)

  Hi Jozef,

  the values of your page P9_NEW1 - P9_NEW5 items are not in persistent session state, they are only available in memory at the time when the page is rendered. Every time when you want to refer to an element in your report, and no matter if it is in the report SQL statement or as a substitution in a link, it must present the server as part of the "Refresh" / AJAX call so that the server can initialize this session state and you are able to reference it. You can do this by setting "Page elements must send" your report. In your case, you must set it to P9_NEW1, P9_NEW2, P9_NEW3, P9_NEW4, P9_NEW5. See the example updated, you provided.

• Is there a way to default blocking of pages or topics

  Hi guys,.

  I wanted to know if there is a way to lock or make unmodifiable 'default Confirmation page', 'Default Theme' etc, for users outside of the Admin users where they should not have access to change default things.

  Using security access to the people/user groups will be the solution, but it will not serve our purpose we need to give write access to the Marketing users.

  I think it's very important because recently an instance that happened where one of my colleague (can not follow the "WHO") have changed the form message page submit a default Confirmation and the redirect link has changed to Google.com that affects our follow-up reports and began to receive complaints from users saying "our form redirects to WRONG page after sending. This is rediculus, blah blah ".

  Even after having informed not to edit default pages yet we face same issue. We fail at a track that has edited, or prevent people from making these mistakes.

  Please let me know if there is a solution for this kind of scenario.

  @Eloqua, if is not the case, then I think it would be great if we get that implemented.

  I have two classic reports with different conditions but even select the columns based on a sql that uses the apex_item.checkbox2 element that allows users to select the lines and run some process. I also have a radio unit that hides and shows these two reports. However, it is possible that the user select a few lines and without doing anything click on the radio button that will present the page and all the lines that earlier he had chosen will be lost. I want that we should be able to pop an alert if there are checkboxes checked and the user tried to hit the button of the radio looks like the APEX_APPLICATION. G_F01. Count is not available at the time the page is submitted. We thought to use a pl/sql to see if APEX_APPLICATION DA. G_F01. Count > 0 then trigger an alert to confirm.

You have been really good on the creation of examples on apex.oracle.com, but they are all fragments of the righteous, which makes things difficult when you try their synthesis in something that works as a coherent whole. • Page cancel submission using Javascript not dynamic Action

  I build features requiring little Javascript to validate the page before being submitted and prevent sending if there are errors in treatment.  I got this job with the help of dynamic action that fires before Page submit to a condition of firing of Javascript and an action to cancel the event, and it works fine.  However, the intention is to use this feature in several pages and it would be nicer if the functionality could be implemented in Javascript (for example, the code in the page template).

  during the presentation of the page using apex.submit () (which is probably all cases?), you can use submit it before event like this:

  Thus, binding to 'submit' will work, and work, but note that Event.preventDefault () may NOT work depending on the browser used. For me it works in FF, does not check the others. You can try to use "return false;" instead.
