Pre sale Powerline PLEK400

I saw somewhere that these are made for 120V (mainly US) power grid systems.

In Ghana, we use a 220V system. Are there variants or models of the series of Poerline that is built for 220V systems?

The internal power supply used by the PLE400 is 100-240 V AC / 50-60 Hz. The rate of transfer of a power adapter carrier online PLE400 is 200 Mbps. So he will go to work for you.

Here is the link that will provide you with detailed specifications: http://www.costcentral.com/proddetail/Linksys_PowerLine_AV_1_Port_Network_Adapter_Kit_PLEK400/PLEK40...

  • * RESPONSE * T530 vs W530 pre-sale advice?

Need to inform/pre-sale information. By comparing the T & W 530. My main use would be to update so my requirements are an i7 (3720QM) and support for 32 GB of RAM. In comparing the two, the only difference I see is the video card options. Not a big deal for me, I'm sure the T530 will play still Quake, Unreal, Flightgear, etc... Audio is different, but not a deal maker/breaker. I do not plan on using more then two monitors, now one. Internally & externally they look identical, ports, hinges, etc... Are there major differences between the two that I forget? Any other model I should consider?

    @bdk907,.

T530, W530 share the same parts.

  • Pre sale question: Officejet Pro X476dw - ink cartridges

    Hello

I have a couple of pre sale question on the Officejet Pro X476dw - I hope you can help me with.

I live in Denmark (EU) and in the book loads, it says that it comes with startup ink cartridges (translated from Danish). What these specifications of starter ink contains less ink than normal cartridges don't - if so - no idea how many pages they can produce before they empty?

As to the number of products: it says CN461A - but to some websites, it is called CN461A #A80 - is this the same printer? And what does the #A80?

The ink cartridges have an expiration date. What happens after that date: the printer will require new cartridges before it will print anything if it can damage the printer to use ink after the expiry date - or what the print quality is affected?

Q: it comes with startup ink (translated from Danish). These start ink specifications contains less ink than normal cartridges only

A: Yes.  It's half in full by a quarter from a new normal cartridge.  Pagecounts are all depends on a lot and what you print.

Q: it says CN461A - but to some websites, it is called CN461A #A80

A: the extra #A80 is probably a regional identifier.  Its basically the same printer but built with some regulation is necessary for your region as energy consumption.

Q: the ink cartridges have an expiration date. What happens after that date

A: the ink are deteriorating and are more likely to plug in your print heads and contacts.

Q: the printer will require new cartridges before it will print anything

A: not necessarily, but it is advisable to listen to your printers of warning messages

Q: can the printer to be used after the expiry date of the ink

R: damage, maybe not the best term.  It would cause clogs in the ink system that will require additional support.  When the hooves can not be erased then the printer may need to be replaced.

Q: or what the quality of the print is affected?

R: technically Yes, but the quality will be not noticeable in most cases with an outdated cartridge.  The ink won't be able to apply paper and take a nice full round, resulting in a glance more stained on a microsopic level.  Your concern should be on the maintenance of the equipment.

  • Oracle TimesTen Pre-Sales team

    Hello

We are interested in the product evaluation Oracle TimesTen

What types of services offers group TimesTen pre-sales, is he coordinated it please?

    Thank you, good luck.

    Hi 965670,

Consultants pre-sales Oracle work with sales team, so I think you should include sales person in this project. I know because I worked for Oracle. :), but in any case you can contact directly with the technical adviser.

On further analysis, it is really depends on consultant's qualification and knowledge. When I worked for Oracle CIS, I did this kind of expertise (analysis of applications and architecture, POC and etc..). I think there are many people who can do in US. Please contact the local office of the Oracle and ask them.

    Best regards

  • Questions on the pre-sales Installation on Adobe CS6

I think to Adobe Creative Suite Design Web Premium CS6 of the local campus bookstore so I can use it with the web certificate program that I take. They have a box version I will probably get. Cheaper than the version of digital download card. I had a few pre-sales questions, before I commit to buy it. The person that I spoke on the phone was not able to answer a few questions about the software, must have been a newbie and, unfortunately, the only one in the Department at the time.

Because I buy the version box directly from the store, can I still e-mail of studying any evidence to Adobe or is sufficient student email? How it works part of the installation of work / what's involved? Is there a serial number in the box already or will it be emailed?

Also, my Mac can be on it is the last step, but it seems to be hanging in there. Can't afford to buy a new computer now. What happens if the hard drive is experiencing a sort of lack of data. If I need to reinstall on a new computer or a replacement boot drive, I have to repeat the whole process audit any prior to re - install?

Once I have the degree (and to understand who will not be able to keep my student email address), how will this affect me in what concerns the Adobe software? What happens if I need to reinstall or install on a laptop (I heard that you can install it on two computers)?

You check one time only. Acceptance makes you eligible for a serial number.

To re - install after that, you install the software and enter your serial number.

Make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements to run CS6.

Once I have the degree (and to understand who will not be able to keep my student email address), how will this affect me in what concerns the Adobe software?

You can still continue using your software student after you graduate.

    http://prodesigntools.com/difference-between-Adobe-CS5-student-editions-vs-regular.html

You will pay the normal price for the other Adobe software for upgrade or join the cloud.

What happens if I need to reinstall or install on a laptop (I heard that you can install it on two computers)?

Download the Installer (or use your drive), install it and enter your serial number.

Your license allows you to activate the software on up to two computers at the same time.

Note: the CS6 license is specific to the operating system that is works on 2 x Windows only or 2 x Mac only. You can't mix and match. However, you can mix and match software Cloud (CC).

  • Rocket pre-sale question

My Sansa Clip died last Friday, and I am wrong because I listen to podcasts during travel or any other 'time' I.

The things that I really liked in this regard were:

-Deleting a file on the drive

-Fast forward or rewind has become progressively more quickly you hold the button

    -Record Podcasts

    The "rocket" do all this?

In addition, what has been the general consensus on the "rocket"? Is - more/less/same buggy as the Clip?

I bought a Philips 2 GB today at Wal-Mart, but let me tell you: do NOT. Not a bad player self, but he did not three points above that I got so used to it. It is already in the box must be returned to Wally World.

    Thanks for your time.

I'm not going to tell you not to buy a rocket he has what you're asking. But this is a thread on the forum to Clip the clip of 8 GB is on sale at Wal-mart for $49. I would just get another clip.

  • Director of cloud pre-sales question

    Hello

We must go to VMware of Hyper-V, precisely because VMware supports the video standard OpenGL 2.1.  I have read a lot about VMware and have received assistance from large on their part, but I have just a few more questions. [Think about the character of Peter Falk "Lieutenant Columbo" ]

Today, we have a server in our test lab.  We want fast prorvisioning and free service for creating virtual machines.  Users need create virtual machines, self-service portal is a 'lack '.  Commissioning quick is a 'lack' because we need non-technical users to test our software in SMV isolated.

Another "want" is the ability to script the creation of machines "quickly put into service.  We test a large legacy application and every feature or bug fix is isolated in its own branch of source control.  Once tested and approved, we merge the machines at the main branch of software.  It is for us to script to create a virtual machine in our process of generation, in this way, we create a "quick commissioning" VM, installing our software on this subject, end users can test without having to install every time like that.

    So, my questions are:

    • I know that Director/vsphhere/vcenter cloud should not all be on the same host, but it is for our QA software test lab and is not a critical situation of the mission.  The machine is a Dell R710 with 128 RAM.  This would probably be ok for our application?
    • What is the minimum I need to purchase?  Should I have the Suite Enterprise cloud to get the self-service portal and fast commissioning or is there a cheaper version?
    • I can script the creation of VMs fast-provisioned?
    • How can I search Subforums here?

    Thank you!

We demand that the DRS is turned on.  You will need to create a cluster (regarless of who in need), put the host in this cluster, enable drs in manual mode.
Put vCenter/vCloud at the origin of the cluster to use these resources.
Make a pool of resources and reserves (minimum values) the value to something substantial.  This will eventually become your pool of resources 'Provider', and you want to make sure that your minimum is guaranteed once you put it into vCloud Director.
Recognize that the left all the resources of this pool are what vCenter/vCloud must work with.
    • What is the minimum I need to purchase?  Should I have the Suite Enterprise cloud to get the self-service portal and fast commissioning or is there a cheaper version?

It would be better to talk to a sales representative.  If you buy the "vcloud suite" of any teir, it will let you install and use vCloud Director.  I think all versions will give you quick commissioning and the portal (vCloud Director himself).

You will always need a Red Hat operating system license to install vCloud Director for deployment supported, or CentOS to a deploymnet not supported.  The vCloud unit would also work, but it's only for the proof of Concept (last I heard).

If you do not use the device, you must also support Oracle or MS SQL DB Server to host the database of vCloud.  SQL Express to vCenter won't work (default) because it only supports local connections and other limits (total size of DB)

The difference in versions will affect what you get with it... once again talk about sales exactly what you need.   But I think the standard should be suitable for you.

    • I can script the creation of VMs fast-provisioned?

You just enable rapid Provisioning on the vDC organization, assuming that it is supported.  Once that done, all operations which should make a clone related shall be a linked clone.

    • How can I search Subforums here?

Go to the forum you want to search for and use the search box.  Do not hit enter or anything like that.  You should get quick results with options, and there is a link "Search only.  Then see all the results.

  • Pre-sales: more possible 64-bit full support

    Hello

I'm about to buy a laptop (I heard Santa pick up gifts from the warehouse of Toshiba, also) to try to achieve the following objectives:
I want to run probably the guest 64-bit (Win Server 2008) on VMWare ESXi. It is to install a battery of test Sharepoint 2010beta, which require a 64-bit environment
I guess and that ' s where you guys come in this, I need not only the CPU to provide 64-bit support, but also the VT CPU and BIOS support technology but also in support of 64-bit chipset, drivers and whatnot.
I know I should be reasonable and install the package on a small physical server but I'm not and I need to be as mobile as possible in this scenario, so my question is this: which of the portable Toshiba current no matter which model it would achieve for me as the best of your knowledge? As it is almost impossible to ask a dealer to put some test machines I need your experience.

Any idea? Or questions to the above?
Thanks a mil for all your comments

    Hello

You want to buy a Satellite Pro S or why you posted here in this forum?

I think that this question isn't easy to answer. First of all it s depending on the price I think. For example, Satellite L series you don t have to pay so much money for what is fast Qosmio X 500

I think you should check the Toshiba page a bit. Take a look at the different models what design you want, etc.
After that, you can check the specification if they support virtualization for example and on the driver download page, you can check it if you get all the drivers for this model.

On my Satellite U400, I installed Vista Business 64-bit. Full 64 bit support and all works well enough.
But there is already the successor on the market: Satellite U500.

  • Pre-sales question: how to rotate the old video files

Hello, I can't find my answer via google.

I would like to run some very old phone videos taken vertically, but horizontally play.  There are still more some video files vertical I want to compress to a more manageable size.  I have an older version of the compressor that does not work with Yosemite.  The new version will manage the videos for me?

    Thank you.

    N °

I would use a NLE like final cut PRO, QUickTime Player, or MPEG Streamclip to rotate the clips.

    Good luck.

  • Pre-sales questions ReadyNAS104

I was reseaching NAS solutions for my home. I watched pretty much every video and the web page, but I think I've confused ND. I am interested in the ReadyNAS104 without a hard drive.

My home network is composed of Mac/Linux/Windows. To begin, I would like to start with 1 hard drive. Is this possible? Assuming that Yes, I understand that there will be no data protection. I think that from what I've seen, all of my computers will be able to read or write to the NAS. Can I set up folders separated for multiple users, access private or shared depending on the user and share? A document I've seen specific that the 104 can support up to 16 TB of data, another 24 TB. Which is correct? This will determine the size of my disk (4 or 6 TB).

When I add the second disc, the 104 will be copied or JBOD, correct? With a third disc, I'll be able to do other RAID levels? Is it possible to have several volumes, also included in a RAID configuration?

I saw documents on the DLNA/SD 480 and 1080 HD. If I understand correctly, the 104 will not high levels of video leak? But my Samsung Smart TV will be able to see the action, and I'll be able to watch my movies?

How the expansion is provided (IE by network or USB)?

Within RAID level configurations, I would be able to use for example a 1 to a 2 TB, a 3 and a 4 TB drive?

Finally, this unit can serve as my Time Machine backup?

Thanks for any info provided in advance. I hope that my questions were not confused?

    Walter

    1. Yes, you may startout with a hard drive

    2. Yes, you can set up separate, private or shared folders. For private folders, you can use the feature of private home shares

    3. When we released everything first he 16TB volumes were the maximum supported. If you update 6.4.0 (or later first) you can now have more volumes of 16 TB. So if you start with a 6 TB drive I would 6.4.0 (or later), check the update of the firmware successfully, then do a factory default (erases all the data, settings, everything) because it is a new configuration for a clean installation on this firmware

    4. It will be RAID-1 mirror, Yes. X - RAID won't JBOD when you add the second drive. When the third disc is added using X-RAID, you will have a 3 drive RAID-5 volume. If you want something different you can disable X-RAID under Volumes, destroy the existing volume - if it is already using this drive (NOTE destroying volume DESTROYS your data, in order to back up your data first) and create the volumes that you want.

    5. The 104 can stream 1080 p, but what he can't do is video transcoding of any resolution. If she can broadcast your video as it's your customer then it will be. Otherwise the video will not play.

    6. You can share USB drives on your network. There is no expansion of hunts for the 104. If you need more space than what will fit on the unit, that the best solution would be to get another unit or replace your drives with higher capacity ones (if there are higher capacity disks)

    7. Using X-RAID disks that you add must have at least the same capacity as the disks. With X-RAID disabled, you can create a volume on any disk you add.

    8. Yes, you can use this to hold the backups Time Machine on your Mac. You can use the Global Time Machine function or have spent Time Machine backup files for each user.
