premanently store this exception is inactive

The problem is that I can't save the security exception because the box is inactive. I know that the certificate provider, and it's OK. How can I unlock this option and make it active to save the certificate?

This is because you use Firefox in permanent private browsing mode (don't remember history).

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "use the custom settings for history".

    Original title: PROBLEM WITH WINDOWS STORE

    Hi, I'm a first year student at IIT MADRAS. I just got a new laptop (W8, 4 GB RAM, 320 to drive HARD, I3). I had problems to open the store. He said: "we were not able to connect to the store.this could not have come because of problem with the server or the network connection timed out." My connection to the local network requires the proxy settings. PLEASE HELP ME.

    Hello

    Yes, the speed and connectivity of the internet must be consistent for the applications to work properly.

    I suggest you create a new user account and checkif the problem persists.

    Create a new user account.

    Setting up a new user account is a very easy process in Windows 8. There are two types of user accounts, a Microsoft user account and a Local user account. See this link for more information on the two types of user accounts and how to create them.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-user-account

    Try to connect with the user account that is having right of the administrator and check if the problem persists.

    I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please get back to us and we would be happy to help you.

    Hello

    ·          When the issue started?

    Step 1: Try to scan the computer using Antivirus software because this problem can occur if the computer is infected with the virus. You can use the Microsoft Security Analyzer by clicking on the link: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/

    Note: once a virus is removed, you will need to reinstall some software, or restore lost information.

    Step 2: Check if the problem persists in Mode without failure.

    Everything was working fine until yesterday. Today, I can not print any documents. I checked all connections are intact, the computer has my printer listed, but when I check for items that he says there is nothing despite multiple attempts to print a document. How can I fix the problem? I have no problem to copy. Also what do I do about the error message?

    Hello mompea,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

    I see you have a problem with the connection as a ' Exception ID: 34474083 ".

    The error code might have to do with a possible a few different scenarios.  One being a web page you are trying to print from.  Another might be an update of Windows you did with in the last day (if there is one) could cause this problem. The last of them, I can think might be rights of administrator on the user profile that you are connected.

    I suggest we try the HP print and Scan doctor.  If the doctor fails, please let me know where she didn't have and error codes may appear.

    Thanks for your time.

    See you soon,.

  • Why do I get this exception - anti-pop: UiEngine is null! = net.rim.device.api.ui.UiEngineImpl@1ee2b551

    It happens when this code is run:

    public void popMyScreen(){  if (screen != null){    Application.getApplication().invokeLater( new Runnable(){        public void run() {           try{          UiEngine ui = Ui.getUiEngine();           ui.popScreen(screen);     }catch(Throwable e){      if (TasteMyCity.getDebug())TasteMyCity.writelog("******* TasteMyCity popMyScreen  ",e);       screen=null;  }    }});}}

    The method is called from a number of places in my code - but sine I put everything in the Ui thread, I thought it would work like this.

    PS: This error message, what is happening in my journal it's track of the stack also has this:

    GraphicsInternal.updateDisplayFromBackBuffer (int, int, int, int, int, int) line: 1132
    UiEngineImpl.removeScreenInternal (Screen) line: 2001

    Most, if not all of them actually run on the thread of events, so you work for yourself.  In addition, given that you have placed the code one invokeLater, you don't need to use the UiEngine looking for the current UiApplication approach - you can use UiApplication.getUiApplication ()...

    Can I ask you to change the code as follows, but put to debug the instructions in the "exceptions" I note so that we can understand what exceptions occur.  You can throw a RuntimeException to each point, if you wanted to, that would get us an at least Stack Trace.

    public void popMyScreen() {}
    If (display! = null) {}
    Application screenApp = screen.getApplication ();
    If (screenApp == null) {}
    Believe that this means that the screen has already been jumped

    }
    final UiApplication runningApp = UiApplication.getUiApplication ();
    If (runningApp! = screenApp) {}
    This application cannot jump the screen anyway!
    return;
    }
    If (!) () runningApp instanceof )) {}
    Works do not our application!
    Should we be popping screen of others?
    return;
    }
    If {(UiApplication.isEventDispatchThread ())}
    runningApp.popScreen (screen);
    screen = null;

  • Trying to install AISuite II, but unsbale to install it, I get this exception code: 0x0eedfade.

    Original title: AISuiteII not install? Help?

    So, basically, I am trying to install AISuite II from ASUS on my computer. The only problem is, it is not installed. I'll double-click setup.exe and the UAC just ask permission, he I grant permission, but nothing happens. Something from the command prompt appears for less than a second, then disappears and nothing happens. Same thing if I try to install every aspect of AISuite on its own or if I try to launch the setup.exe in compatibility and as administrator mode. Exactly the same happens with the AsusSetup.exe too.

    I looked in the MMC under application logs and noticed this, I don't really know what to do, it points to "KERNELBASE.dll" whatever either.

    Here's the whole journal.

    Name of the failing application: Setup.exe_ASUS AI Suite II, version: 1.1.8.3, time stamp: 0x4e3002c5
    Name of the failed module: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17651, time stamp: 0x4e211319

    Path of the failing module: C:\Windows\syswow64\KERNELBASE.dll

    Hello

    This also happens in Firefox Safe Mode? Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

    If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

      then select restart with disabled modules.

    If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.

    When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

    If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

    To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

    You can disable graphics hardware acceleration by doing the following:

    1. Click the menu button

      and select Options

    2. In the Options of Firefox window, click the Advanced tab, and then select general.
    3. You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    4. Now restart Firefox normally and see if the problems persist.

    When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  • Pictures... Where/How does Windows store this vital information?

    It's something that intrigued me and I have not found the answer too. It's to do with the data for 'animated' photos data which allows the image to be 'cancelled '. The example here is the use and editing an image directly on a SD card as the figures easily show to explain what I mean, exactly the same thing happens with images published on the HARD drive.
    Taking it to a ridiculous extreme, if you cropped your photos down to almost nothing, they then take "vitually no space upward. However, thay all have the property to 'come back '.

    The question is where and how is this information which was held... need as much space as the image source etc.?

    Example,

    1. I format a small 256 MB SD card, defining the map it is 'by default' and it shows free to 255,565,824 bytes. The point of departure.

    2 image is added nominal size 3.3 MB. The free space is now 252,096,512. in other words 3.3 MB of space taken as planned.

    3. I open the image in the photo gallery Windows and crops until approximately 21 KB in size. The free space is now 255,541,248 with only 24 KB in total used.

    So far so good.

    If this cropped image is opened the possibility to 'come back' is present.

    Where is this info which is held to reconstruct the image? Is there the 3.3 MB of data held somewhere to come back to this image. The same question applies to when the image is on the HARD drive also. Where is the information to restore the image which is held.

    This is something that has puzzled me for a long time.

    Thank you

    And then, in showBigImage use currentTarget:

        Incoming Server: pop.shaw.ca
       Server Type: POP Mail Server (can't change this)
       Security Type: none
       Authentication: Normal Password (or Password, transited insecurely)
       Port: 110

    Mail out with authentication server

    SMTP server

       Description: Shaw
       Server Name: mail.shaw.ca
       Connection Security: STARTTLS
       Port: 587
       Authentication: Normal Password
       Remote Access: We don't have access to this setting but worth
       checking maybe - S/B Enabled

    OH! AND you must make sure that his is the DEFAULT Server!

    It seems to work so far. I will return if it happens again (like keeping the full thread for others).

    Thanks for all your help - REALLY appreciate your persistence, now I can go back to being a happy user of Mozilla!

    Thanks again,

  • Why exceptions regarding safety isn't being saved, and I have to confirm every time I do anything with my email?

    I currently use Thunderbird to connect to three accounts via IMAP: a Gmail education account via a University and my email to work through the company mail server. The first two work very well, but the enamel work requires me to add a security exception every action that I take on the account, and she never recorded until the next use.

    Simply by clicking on the Inbox folder is sufficient to require that I go through the dialogue again. It seems e-mail very well, but I am spammed constantly with these pop-up windows. The box "permanently store this exception" does nothing.

    I can imagine only this happens because it is a little server of the business to run; I confess that I do not understand how the security certificate process works. When I click on the "view..." button. ", the dialogue shows that it is a"key generated automatically IMAP SSL,"with delivery Courier Mail Server organization (which sounds too mat for me). The topic of States dialogue "Not able to verify this certificate the issuer is unknown."

    What are my options to get rid of the popup? I had this same problem when connecting via POP3, but also resulted in a significant lagtime between messages are sent and my receipt (several hours). Is there a way to remove these popups for that specific email account?

    Do not use SSL/TLS is the best answer. Your best without encryption on your unknown encryption connection.

    As for her does not save, I have no idea. You are an administrator for the local computer?

  • TB keeps giving me a Security Exception request.

    For several days I get the popup to add a Security Exception. I check permanently store this exception before clicking on confirm Security Exception. After clicking on that SEVERAL times it finally disappears only to the pop-up window a little later and I have to repeat the process. I use Thunderbird since 2008 and it can manage 3 emails from work and 1 personal e-mail. l have had this happen before.

    My company (x 3) email server settings are incoming port of photoscape 993 outgoing smtp.googlemail.com step port 465 SSL/TSL Normal 2 password security is not enabled on GMail for our domain

    My personal server settings are email(x1)
    Secure39.webhostinghub.com port 993 outgoing secure39.webhostinghub.com port entering 465
    Normal SSL/TSL security password

    I have installed avast
    Avast! Mail Scanner
    Name of the server certificate
    secure39. WebhostingHub.com secure39.webhostinghub.com; 465

    secure39.webhostinghub.com      secure39.webhostinghub.com; 993

    PhotoScape photoscape; 993
    SMTP.googlemail.com smtp.googlemail.com; 465
    Lifetime Expires = permanent (for all) secure39 = 23/02/2017 and googlemail = 22/06/2015

    I exported a copy of the file details crt, but I don't see a way to download it here. I'll be happy to send an email to someone if needed.

    Resolved in a different thread but the same problem. Disabled AVG Antivirus for e-mail. No problem since.

  • I keep getting invited to add security exception

    IM constantly wondered, sometimes several times per minute, to "confirm security exception". I always make sure that "permanently store this exception", before you click on "confirm security exception", but it doesn't seem to work, because a few minutes later I get exactly the same pop up once again, for all my email accounts.

    Ive been using thunderbird for years and usually in that case only, just once, after ive turned my anti-virus and turn it back on. But this time it started to happen on its own and has been tirelessly harassing me. Sometimes the pop up will appear while im in the middle of typing an email and cut me in my stride, so the program is almost impossible to use now.

    Do you know why this could happen?

    the strange thing is that appears in the 'other' tab of my thunderbird Certificate Manager, so it has been saved, but it doesn't seem to stop thunderbird asking me to confirm constantly. Must it be stored somewhere else in the Manager?

  • When you try to access a web page I get the following error: (error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer) Firefox will not let me add an exception

    I can access the site with other web browsers below, however, Firefox won't let me access it or I can add an exception so that it is access. If I can't access the web site, I have no reason to use Firefox at all. Can someone please?

    If you can not add an exception, but get a pop-up with the error message, you can go the pref browser.xul.error_pages.enabled on the topic: config page and make sure that the value is set to true (the default).

    You can retrieve the certificate and the control that has issued the certificate.

    • Click on the link at the bottom of the error page: "I understand the risks".

    Let Firefox recover the certificate: "Add Exception"-> "get certificate".

    • Click on the "view..." button. "to inspect the certificate and the Coachman, who is the sender.

    Only leave the brand in the box at the bottom to "permanently store this exception' If you trust this certificate.

    • Click on "Confirm the Security Exception" to enter the site if you still want to go to this site.
