Premiere Pro CS6 will not start.

I recently installed my CS6 Pro first on a new computer laptop and am getting the below error message when I try to start.  How can I fix it?

I have a Dell Precision 7510 with a processor Intel Core i7-6920HQ NVidia Quadro M2000M (Intel HD Graphics 530), video card, 32 MB of Ram.

Try this:

Open the nVidia control panel, since the bar system or by right clicking on an empty area of the desktop and choosing the nVidia control panel.

  • Go on manage 3D settings.
  • In the global settings tab, choose nVidia in the favorite drop the graphic processor.
  • In the tab settings of the program, find each Adobe application and assign each to use as the preferred graphics processor nVidia card.

NB: If the problem is the Intel driver as mentioned above, then you have to fix that before you do the procedure I described here.

I have an installed version of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. Or at least I thought I did.

I left my creative cloud membership expire in June because I just don't edit enough video to justify the $20 per month cost.

I used the first Pro CS6 a few weeks ago to edit a clip of 1 minute for a family video, and it worked fine.

Today, on August 29, I went to use it again, and now he's giving me the message that I need to renew my subscription to CC until I use Premiere Pro CS6.

I understand that Adobe has moved to such a model, and that the CC has advantages over the CS6, but is there not a way for a guy who just care with some clips families change several times a year to be able to continue to use the CS6?

Did you buy the perpetual license of CS6 version... have with a serial number... or you installed the version of subscription of the CS6?

CS2 is very old and is very different under the hood then cs6.

Import Project cs2 rather then open it with cs6.

Try to boot in safe mode and remove the Norton System works from your laptop ;)

Hello everyone, I wanted to know if Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 will work on Nvidia gts 450 graphics card? Otherwise, what is the alternative?

  • Premiere Pro CS6 hangs when starting

I have install Adobe CS6 Master Suite. All the other programs I ran into this suite very well work. However, when I try to start Adobe Premiere Pro (either just the program or by double-clicking on a project), the program crashes before it can end the commissioning. I use Windows 7 Ultimate, that displays the message

"Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. »

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, which did not work. I also did the same with the sequel, which has worked for me yesterday, but today when I tried to start Premiere Pro, it broke again.

    I use an Alienware 14

    Intel i7-4910MQ 2.90 GHz

    16 GB memory

    64 bit

I don't know what other information would be necessary to solve this problem. And I thank you for any help, as Adobe does apparently not care enough about their customers to provide support for their products.

    Update:

I tried to install an earlier version of the Adobe Suite (CS5) after using the Adobe tool to clean all my system facilities. I met the same problem, I've never seen with this version. So, I guess it was something wrong with Windows. I was going to return my PC to its factory settings, but decided to first update to Windows 10. The update corrects the problem. Thus, there was apparently a problem with the installation of Windows, or possibly a program that changed the Windows somehow he couldn't run Adobe Premiere Pro. In any case, I am using it without problem with creating for a few days now, so the problem seems to be resolved. Thanks John Smith, to try to help me to troubleshoot this problem. I'll keep in mind that double graphics cards are likely to cause problems when I have problems in the future. I didn't know this before. See you soon.

  • Why Premiere Pro CS6 will only be important to the mpeg format?

Hello, so I use Premiere Pro CS6 now for only a few months and when I imported (using "capture" or F5) and tested a few images a HDV camera using a miniDV Tape, I noticed that Premiere Pro would be to import the mpeg format. I looked up how to change this but couldn't find anything. So in short, I ask you if there is a way to change the import format so that whenever I have import from DV tape, it is not mpeg?

    Thank you!

.. .footage of a HDV camera...
.. .only import in mpeg format.

Capture HDV will always be mpeg.

whenever I have import from DV tape, it is not mpeg?

DV capture will be (pc) .avi or .mov (mac).

    Note:

Capture of a band, import a file based media.

    Hello

I am trying to install adobe trial version first pro cs6, when I say through the implementation, it is Adobe CS6 Encore and Adobe Premier pro CS6 do not meet the requirments, 64-bit operating system os recommended.

I don't really have any idea what that means or if there is a way around this etc y at - it another version of the trial that does not require 64-bit? My computer is running a 32-bit system.

    Thank you

    Unfortunately not.

Premiere Pro CS6 and Encore CS6 are 64-bit only. They will not work on your machine.

  • Premiere Pro CS6 could not find capable video game modules.

Hello everyone. I just bought the Production Premium CS6 and when I try to start the first I get this error message: "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find capable video game modules. "Your video please put updated display drivers and try again." This message comes after she tries to load the file importerquicktime. I tried to uninstall the software and reinstall anything will do. In fact, now I get also three other error boxes that all say: ' LoadLibrary failed with error 126: the specified module could not be found. " I did an extensive search online over the past two days to try to solve my problem myself... but nothing, I tried worked. I even read through all the threads already posted on these forums. Does anyone have any suggestions? Before posting, here are the things I've already tried as well as some technical:

    HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC

    Windows 7 (64-bit)

    8 GB RAM

    Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz

    F.13 BIOS (25/04/2011)

AMD Radeon HD 6700 M Series (driver version: 8.980.0.0)

Mobile Intel HD Graphics (driver version: 8.830.6.2000)

    • I tried to uninstall the software.
    • I tried to update my drivers for both of the graphics cards (even if one of them do not have an update, it seems)
    • I run the software as an administrator.
    • I tried to go to the display settings and disable the Intel card. (this because low resolution that is unexceptable)
    • I went to the Catalyst Control Center and put the first to 'High Power' which is supposed to use the AMD card.
    • I open the BIOS, but there is no option to change anything graphical associates. (many people have to tell people to change switchable graphics set here, but I don't have any option)
    • I took my battery.
    • I uninstalled quicktime and reinstalled the latest version.
    • I downloaded and installed the latest version of first (as it was released the day before, I bought)

I tried other things I think, but at this point, I have tried so many things, that I'm starting to forget. Nothing seems to work for me... I am wanting to use the first to edit this short video I want to release Wednesday, but this puts me behind. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

    BEST METHOD!

I spent more than 24 hours to find a way to solve this problem. And that's...
    1. right click on desktop, and select switchable graphics properties.
    2. click on the Browse button and go to the folder of installation of Adobe premiere cs6
    3. Select cs6.exe first icon and click Open.
    4. set manually to high performance and click on apply.
    5. repeat the above instructions, once more and instead select premierecs6.exe, select GPUsniffer.exe, and click on open again.
6 and set it to high performance and click on apply.
