I will install the Oracle Management Agent in Windows 2008 64-bit environment to start to monitor this host. The server has no anti-virus running and no firewall turned on. On the use of a path (C:\foo, \foo\bar) BACK, the Cygwin DLL emits a warning BACK paths cannot be used.

Solution:

1.) If your WHO is under Windows, follow the procedure on the SGD server below.
- Make sure that the cygwin utility is installed with the oracle documentation

Any idea about this problem on installing the Oracle Client

Client computer: Dell notebook, i5, Win 7 SP1 Enterprise 64-bit (8 GB of RAM)
I am trying to install the oracle 11.2.0.3 client 64-bit on this machine, but facing problems. After I'm done specifying ORACLE_BASE and selection of the language and 'Administrative' selected option instead of 'instant customer' or 'Runtime', by clicking on the next button, progress bar is displayed and the time it's done with audit requirements that disappears from the screen moving in together. I ran the installer with the option "Run as Administrator" too and tried to use 11.2.0.2 setup, but in vain.
Quick question... I have a CSI valid, if I get a ticket with Oracle, they would help me on problem installing client that I am facing. In the past I was able to install the client on this machine, I am just clueless despite that I looked at the log generated by the Setup program file.

I'm stuck during the installation of the OEM (Linux_x86_64_Grid_Control_Agent_11.1.0.1.0) Linux client. This is my environment:

I chose "Ignore" :)

After that I found it

OS = OEL6.1
DB = 11gr2.0.3 / installed without any problem
All required them PMR is ok.

I did put all the memory DB parameters to initialize because of lack of resources.
But I think that this problem is unrelated to the RAM, SGA, PGA.

Mebe problem is in the OS?

Not able to install OEM on my DB server
Hi friends,
I'm installing OEM for the 1st time in my org.
I get the below error. Can someone here help me with some advice?

I am facing problems:
1. of the avaiable in 4 options for the installation of oracle GUI only last a (management additional.. Agent) is selectable.
2. even if choose the last option, the installation fails with the commands below.

3. I'm running installation with - ignoreSysPrereqs because it fails with the error below otherwise:

This command can be used to check the wrecks said

prereqchecker/install/runInstaller - < DVD > PREREQ_CONFIG_
LOCATION = < DVD > / rdbms/Disk1/stage/prereq - entryPoint < entryPoint value >
-prereqLogLoc < log location > - quiet - waitForCompletion

no idea on what means < entryPoint value >? I found an example
who says this: entryPoint - oracle.sysman.top.em_seed_Core
