  I did a little more digging and it seems that you can not connect a Playbook through your computer to App World even though the web page indicates to do so. Playbooks can only access the App World apps directly. Thanks for your help.

  I was downloading a game Bubble Breaker, and I lost the connection.  I had already received the email that PayPal had sent payment because it is a paid app.  When I tried to reinstall, App World wanted me to pay for it AGAIN.  The company sent me a link to download because they had been paid, and APP World does not recognize.

  I completely uninstalled App World and reinstalled and it does nothing to help.

  Your ISP offer support for AppWorld... contact them and explain. If they say they can't help you, they can. They take over AppWorld. Ask the question to be reassigned to a medium technical level RIM.

• Ripple can not build app Playbook: the system cannot find the path specified.

  Not a huge surprise here, but I tried to compile my app for Playbook in undulation. After following all the steps of downloading all the SDKs, get and save new keys, have all the files in place, etc.. Ripple can simply with:

  Oh Snap! Build request failed with message: The system cannot find the path specified.
  

  Without rhyme or reason. No way to detect what it is. Ripple is dangerously wrong sometimes. And the "Oh Snap!" part is terribly boring.

  I was able to build the application via command line (which requires you to make a zip file of everything manually... * sigh *).

  Anyone know how it is possible to debug?

  Assuming that the Tablet is the installation folder which includes bbwp and jre, you'll want your SDK path pointing there. Example:

  C:\BBWP\tablet

  For example, my Tablet SDK is installed in this folder that is used in my Path SDK:

  C:\Program Search SDK WebWorks Motion\BlackBerry to Tablet 2.2.0.5

  Note that I am assuming that your path refers to the folder that contains bbwp.exe, but you really want to make a folder of higher level.

  Other paths seems fine. Can you give than to try and confirm if you still have questions?

  A team member registry key and I get a copy of these files from his computer author.p12, the barsigner.csk and the barsigner.db. I copied the files on my computer and when I try to sign app I got error: certificate chain could not be found for: RDK. RDK must refer to a valid key KeyStore entry containing a private key certificates chain and corresponding public key. anyone how to solve this problem. or can I use key files in this Waye

  It seems to work now, I get another backup file, in the previous, there may some corrupted files.

  the thing is our company has roaming user appdata folder, so I put these files under local/users/Appdata/Research In Motion and walking \users\appdata\Research in Motion (network folder), it seems only this sdk create sub-folder of vagabond, other software do not use at all.

  If you have a hardware problem, then nothing what to do with the software or operating system will not help. But, at a distance of the internet, there is no way to really diagnose a hardware problem... rather, only to guide you to things to try which will govern the other causes, leaving only hardware like your the most likely cause. See how news of the device is for you, you can not cope and return instead of your place of purchase for formal support and (hopefully) replacement.

  But, if you want to try, then I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '.   If you want to try at the OS level, then the easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

  (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

  2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

  (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

  • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. The application icon is 'weak' on iPad office with one of the two messages. The messages vary according to sync with iTunes or marketing of a stop.   Anyone know how to create a signed business App using DPS?  The tutorials/say to check the box "Company signed App" on the screen of the certificate, but my screen is not a checkbox, only two selection fields of file for the mobile configuration files.  It is perhaps because the tutorials are for 2011 and they have recently updated the App Builder?  I have an iOS Dev company account with the correct certificate... my application developer works very well for my test ipad.

  Creative cloud users can only create applications of single-edition and do not have the ability to create applications company-signed.

  Hello, I face a rather strange problem with the virtual server on AMS STD. whenever I try to change the Application.xml < streams > vod tag signed APP to point to the location of alternative media, I get this message:

  Mar 19:24:51: invalid configuration file: {path}\vod\Application.xml

  Inside of the tag < streams > change the path of a physical, not the one with the pound sign. Whatever it is, I get the same message back. In addition, when you attempt to change ams.ini by the custom path, I get an error message as well. The < stream > tag in Vhost.xml is empty. It turns out that the signed app can digest only paths _defaultVHost_. How this could be resolved?

  Petro - I consider this closed thread that we have reached the resolution via private discussion. Just for the information of other users - it was a misconfiguration issue.

• No option "Enterprise-signed" App Type?

  I have a new license of the company, but when I'm in DPS App Builder I don't have an option "Company signed" App Type.  Why?  All the docs suggest I should have this option.  Have options changed recently or is there something else I need to do?

  If you have a business license, you should get an option to choose the company that build signed at the certificate stage (where you import your Mobile configuration files). If you don't see that, then your account could not be put into service for the use of the company and should not be included in your contract. Send me via your username via PM, I'll check if it has been configured correctly and included in your contract.

  I downloaded the latest version of my phone and now the app world does not open.  I already took out battery, removed and reloaded program.

  Not sure if this is something that will fix itself but I need to download a program.

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

  4 AppWorld must close.

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).
