  Are you following these steps exactly?

  1) click on the Office button

  2) click on PowerPoint Options

  3) click on Add-Ins

  (4) to the right of "Manage:" use the drop-down menu to select "disabled items".

  5) click "Go."... »

  6) highlight your presenter Add - In, and then click "Enable."

  -What are you doing?  You can also check your program files and folders from presenter to the error log and see if something stands out on what could happen.

  I just installed 9 presenter and the Simulation of the Application of the Ribbon box is grayed out.  I'm under Captivate 5.5 btw... Thank you!

  Oh, it's a great idea.   I was using other software (Camtasia) to capture the desktop training and insertion in PPTX, but the ability to do directly from in the Ribbon of presenter in PPT was enticing... I'll play with this and if all goes well updated to Captivate soon (version 7 is out I think!).  Thank you!

• Win7 freezes (no BSODS) on normal startup, safemode OK

  10 month old desktop computer. It rarely stops and I leave constantly running, put to sleep most of the time and stops only when necessary for updates.

  The system never gave me any problem. However, most of the time that I stopped it for several months, he told me on the commissioning still once Windows was not shut down properly before. But it is basically a non-issue, because it starts well when I say that it starts normally. It's a barely perceptible problem.

  Today, I opened the case to give it a gentle cleaning with compressed air. However, when the computer reboots, it has the following behavior:

  1. in the boot every time, no matter what was happening before, it says that Windows has not stopped previously. Similar to before when it worked fine.

  2. If "Safe Mode" or "Safe Mode with networking" is selected, it starts successfully.

  3. If I try to boot normally, it will simply crash after a few seconds and remain so indefinitely (while the power is always on); my monitor will say there is no signal and adjust my helmet. The keyboard and the mouse light remain on, but nothing can wake up the computer except a hard reboot. We see no BSOD. So far I don't know anyone with exactly the same problem.

  What I did:

  1. boot in safe mode and disabled all unnecessary startup programs. It would still not allow Windows to start normally.

  2. boot in safe mode and tried to go back to a restore point of 4 days old with no visible changes occurring after doing this.

  3. started from the restore disc and run the Startup Repair utility. The result was that she found that no problems - he gave me this result almost instantly.

  4 back in the case and carefully examined all the connections and checked that nothing has been dislodged. I cleaned the PCs lots of air and not broken anything, so I'm not sure that's the issue.

  I'm curious to know how to troubleshoot at this time, anyone have some starting points for me?

  Not a real easy, but please bear with me:

  Since the system log file:
  -problems with the software of Virtual Machine (vmci and VMNetAdapter)
  -problems with MEIx64 - suspect it is the Intel Management Engine Interface
  Then, it seems that the system has rebooted - probably in Mode safe and there are many, many mistakes there.

  Uninstall the Virtual Machine software for now.  Reinstall once we have fixed things.

  Replace the Intel Management Engine software with the latest version of http://downloadcenter.intel.com
  -Download the new copy
  -uninstall the current copy
  -install the newly downloaded version
  -monitor for more problems.

  Is at least a bugcheck (from 05 Jul).  Please zip and download content from C:\Windows\Minidump

  Application log file shows what may be the access denied error in WMI for the same period of time.

  Uninstall AppleCharger - recently it caused problems on some systems.
  Feel free to reinstall once the system is working properly.

  Security and Winlogon issues mentioned, please make a couple of these scans free to exclude malware (which may have damaged your anti-malware protection program): http://www.carrona.org/malware.html

  A stranger (event ID 41 questions).  If it wasn't because of force you a shutdown, then wonder about hardware issues.  I suggest to use this free tool to monitor the time: http://www.hwinfo.com/

  I'm not sure, but it seems as if there is a present USB wireless network adapter.  If so, please uninstall the software and physically remove the device from the system.  To get internet, use a PCI/PCIe card inserted in your motherboard (they are more reliable and more powerful than the USB devices) - or a very long ethernet cable.

  If it is not a wireless USB device, then replace wireless drivers:
  -Download a new copy of the latest compatible drivers Win7
  -uninstall the current drivers
  -install the newly downloaded drivers
  -monitor for more problems.

  If is not infected, check your list of services against the list at http://www.blackviper.com/service-configurations/

• Download the problem with animations?

  A slide in an Adobe Presenter 9 ppt program does not show the animations correctly on the download. In other words, I have 10 animations on the slide, with everyone coming where I talk to you. The editing is correct; the preview work correctly. When I download it, however, this slide (and this blade only) has all the animations to come at once and in a weird order. Suggestions?

  I am writing this compilation of documents in a guard daata establishing in 10g. I was in charge to present different approaches in implementing on Rhel 5.
  
  I came across 3 procedures (which is to duplicate a database with RMAN, then configure it to a Data Guard feature). I read a process using (let's this is what the article said, but procedure was presented):
  
  alter tablespace... .begin backup;
  alter tablespace... .end backup;
  
  then copy the generated files and configure it to the data protection feature.
  
  Someone help it with that? Is there like a blogsite or steps I can take for this scenario?

• I want to change the text in Captivate after import PowerPoint slides

  Background: I import slides from a .pptx file. Once the slide is created inside Captivate, I want to change the text in the slide, but I can't. It became part of the background. So, I'm left with two options: 1) open the .pptx file, change the text, and then re-import the slide 2) manually create everything on the slide inside Captivate. This means a lot of work. I was hoping that Captivate 7 would solve this, but what seemed possible could address - high fidelity - is not available for mac. I'm sure that others have this problem too.

  Yes, I also never create presentations in PPT, but when my clients want an e-Learning course developed, they almost always send me a PPT - UGH. I'll just recreate each slide manually, because I have to have Captivate to all its other powerful tools. Thanks for your response!

  what I told u in my previous post please follow it properly and you will be able to view the calendar using the trigger when key pressed on ve.
  but please if you have not created working first directory create working directory by modifying defualt.env
  something like that.

  When you create the working directory, then please copy all you are fmb, fmx, mmb etc etc.

A db newly block reading will be inserted between the cold and the hot area such that it belongs to the hot zone. This is called midpoint insertion. However, this is true only for the single block readings, readings of multi block will be placed after the LRU. +

  I would not recommend this kind of detail from external sites. These details are very complex and as long as the source is not guaranteed to be credible, there are complete chances you have read/understood is either completely wrong / changed.

  There is a cold end in the buffer cache, also known as the LRU end of the bound LRU list. The parameter dbpercent_hot_default, supports the buffers to be allocated in the list, by the ratio of 50 / 50%. Oracle changed the algorithm of 816 I guess where they started with the algorithm of insertion of the median value rather than putting pads on the MRU point also like before 816. Buffers whose touch count is less than or is equal to 2, if not used, is introduced into the end of the LRU and if not always accessible, will be thrown.

  I don't think that this statement of yours, cold dirty buffers is in fact correct. Dirty buffers are kept in another list, LRU-W(dirty/write list) hence DBWR empty them. How do correlate you the end of Sales pads with cold buffers? If you can explain that, maybe the explanation can be more elaborative.
