  I just got this printer in place and have no problem printing images downloaded from the web, but when I print pictures from my digital camera that have been saved to a network share they are saturated and look downright shoddy.  I found that there is a button named digital photography of real life that has options for automatic lighting Adaptive of the red-eye effect, picture brightening in the paper/quality, the printer properties tab, Smart focus, sharpness and softness.  If I turn these options off photos Print perfectly.  The problem is that they turn their back on after each print job.  I tried to turn them off when you are using the default printer, but it doesn't appear to.

  HI - usually if you go to Panel and printers and change the settings there, rather than in the application you print from, settings will be preserved.

  Photos for Mac is the only application I know of, who keeps the aperture settings. Too bad it does not your other needs. It does not allow to customize the workspace with presets like Aperture, it does not support the presets for metadata and bath not changing, almost no support for the referenced images.

  If you upgrade OS to Yosemite or El Capitan, how to preserve my folder customized Photos iPhoto multi-level directory? My iPhoto library is 105 GB and contains 41 000 photos, all carefully arranged in a directory of custom and subsidiary subjects.

  iPhoto (the beloved and only) has a great power in its ability to custom folders full of full of albums etc. subfolders directories several levels deep, with photos that can be duplicated in different albums, folder & file size info, etc. Unless this can all be kept in the Photos, there is no point me upgrading until Apple gets serious on the needs of demanding photographers, who want the custom control and want as their stuff protected in their hard drive and not on the cloud. Automatically generated 'events' and 'albums' are things of grandmother-and-the-children, useless for people like me. I need a custom control over making inventories of multiple folder levels based on my own custom categories, categories or undated events Apple thinks we should have. Home, school, family, travel, etc. just does not cut it!

  I would like to begin by asking in the forum of Photos, but until you do, you need to specify your terminology. iPhoto offers events, Albums, and smart Albums for the organization. Thus, by "directories" I can only imagine say you you have files of records nested within other folders? If so, you can do with Photos. There is no need to use the features of cloud Photos. They are not mandatory in any mode.

  Regarding your comment, if you're a serious photographer why you use iPhoto? Make sure you used Apple app for photographers, it was called Aperture. Now for photographers you use applications 3rd party - Lightroom, Capture One etc.

  If you do the update of in Firefox bookmarks, preferences, history, etc. will be there. Active connections should work for most as well. The majority of your extensions and the plugin should work as well, but you may need to update after the update of Firefox.

  It is possible that you are trying to do things with numbers for which it is not designed. It's really good at crunching numbers, but this isn't a database program. If you look at the models in file > New in your menu, you will find good examples of use of numbers. To enter formulas usually you don't have to make a lot of seizure of addresses. You type = activate the formula editor, and then click the cell you want to reference. Numbers then inserts the address for you.

  Hello!

  If you use the recovery disk Toshiba your whole HARD drive will be wiped, so you will have lost the existing partitions and all files that you have stored on the HARD drive. So back up your data first, before launching the Toshiba recovery disc.

  The point is the Toshiba Recovery disk restore factory settings if the HARD disk will be wiped and you return the score of the first State when you used the laptop.

• In Photos, I changed the date, title and information on the location of the images of a slide digitizing company.  I want to preserve the custom metadata and the original resolution of 2500 dpi in a file backup, but when I export it loses my metadata chan

  Don't know what you want - well there is a CIO field in the EXIF fields it is meaningless as DPI is not a setting but the result of a math problem third grade - points by (divided by) inches until you add inches per impression you have no IPR - and when you add inches the DPI for printing are determined by calculating not by any setting
