Presets for Lumix G6

You just bought a Lumix G6 camera and I know that I chose the bad is because the video keeps flashing.

It takes Progressive AVCHD and AVCHD.  He also shoots MP4, but I didn't think it was as good an option.

Should which preset I use?

What version of the program do you use?

11 and 12 will be able to change the video from this camera if you shoot AVCHD 1920 x 1080.

In versions 11 and 12, you can even turn in 1920 x 1080 progressive (PAL 60 p or 50 p) and edit it in the program.

If you use a version of the program prior to version 11, you need video in AVCHD 1920 x 1080 30i (or 25i PAL) and make sure that when you start your project edition, you select the project settings for AVCHD full.

The title says.  Can cards of different cameras automatically call presets naming specific to these cameras when importing?

    Thank you, Ed

    Hi erudolph,

Well, you can create multiple presets for different cameras renaming you have and select accordingly while import.

There is no automatic process to select a preset.

    Kind regards

  • Media encoder do not have preset for ProRes 4 k or UHD, has only for Avid

I want to transcode my original MXF 4 k (actually UHD) of sony x 70 to ProRes for editing PP in 2015, but even the new update has no ProRes 4 k presets.  There are full frame presets of size for DNxHR MXF OP1a (for Avid) but nothing for 4 k ProRes for editing of PP.  Is there a "Preset"? I don't know, you can leave out the originals in PP but hear the originals H264 wrapper isn't good for editing re applications on system. So I want to transcode to proRes but keep the UHD image size. I have been informed that rates vary according to the size of the image and the pace, Adobe should therefore ProRes settings you can download. Someone knows?

A number of things.  First of all, the presets are just a shortcut to a group of settings that you can use again and again.  You can always make your own if you don't see one that you need.

Second, try Cineform.  The quality is just as good as ProRes and publishes it smooth as silk.  In addition, there is already a "Preset" for her.

  • Presets for reactive structure

    Hello

I was doing a tutorial, and when it comes time to use the presets for reactive structure, the guy on the tutorial has 6 presets, and I don't have one...

    edge.jpg

Does anyone know how can I get these presets?

    Thank you!

This is because you have a scene > selected symbol.

The tutorial you reference most likely has an asset of the image selected: who will reveal 6 layout presets.

So in your case, if your symbol 'houses' an image that you want to apply one of the six presets layout, then you must be in symbol editing Mode: just double click on the symbol to enter Edit in Place. Then select the image, then choose from the preset picker.

    Hope this helps

  • Is it possible to export preset for Lightroom 4?

    Hi all

Is it possible to export preset for Lightroom 4?  I have created custom preset on my laptop and I would like to export and import my desktop if possible.  Did some research online and could not find this link which applies only to the "Presets" in general, http://help.adobe.com/en_US/lightroom/using/WS2A36C507-E076-4b14-AAC3-87852595D175.html.  Please let me know if this is possible or not because it would be a great time saver.

    Thank you!

Predefined are stored in the 'Local adjustment presets' subfolder within the Lightroom settings folder structure. The location of this varies according to the operating system, or if you have "Store Presets with Catalog" checked in your Lightroom preferences (tab presets)... way easier to locate is go to the Presets tab on the Preferences dialog box and click on "Show Lightroom Presets Folder"... which will open a window of Finder/Explorter showing the Lightroom folder. Open that folder, find that the copy the brush and the subfolder Local adjustment presets preset .lrtemplate files on your desktop. Repeat the operation on the desktop to locate the Local adjustment presets folder, then simply copy the predefined inside. They should then display in Lightroom on the desktop (you may need to restart Lightroom first).

  • Presets for export is not available

Hey guys. Could be a noob question, but I have a question why my export presets in Media Encoder are only allow me DV. Is there something I need to load or configure to allow me to get other presets to export as HD?

Apology. I'm a penetrating FCP guy first.

Assuming that you export to something as a QuickTime, then all you will see is DV presets - you do not miss anything. Other formats, such as H.264, contain much more of presets ranging from mobile devices to HD, etc.

However, it is nothing to worry about; just make your own. Specify the settings that you like, for example the progressive Animation QuickTime 1920 x 1080 square pixels, 23.976, and audio settings and the video codec and then save your own presets. There are so many permutations, it wouldn't make sense to create tons of presets.

If you have questions about the construction of a "Preset" for an exit, fire away...

  • Best Preset for CS5 to AVCHD

I'm experimenting with one of the latest AVCHD Vixia of Canon cameras that is capable of shooting video 1920 X 1080 at 24 MB/s.  I think that the MTS files that result are natively captured in 60i format.  I want to do a demo tape for a customer for a product shoot with this camera to show the quality AVCHD and clairty. It seems that if I select 1080 p preset for this codec in CS5, I would be throwing half of the resoluiton vertical if the native video format is 60i, as would be the case when shooting SD video with a native of 29.97 FPS format, which reduces the resolution of natual. My guess is that the 60i is a field rate and not a cadence.

The preset for 1080 p or 1080i are both set to a ratio of square pixels or 1, as opposed to retangular ou.9, as with NTSC DV.  It would seem with a format of the square pixels when displayed on a screen format screen 16:9 wide, it would produce an incorrect image.

Could I get some clarication/confirmation on the two issues above?  It would be the first time that I used this format of HD video and I want to be sure that what I produce is both standards and optimized with native video I have for the real demo.

I probably happen this video to be considered as a mp4 only file rather than he incorporatin in a DVD.

Thanks indeed in advance for the help.

The best thing is editing in HD and then export to dvd mpeg2 or use Dynamic Link to make a dvd in Encore.

1920 x 1080 is always big screen square pixel.

If creating a dvd of this film the view will be always big screen with non square pixels with a format of 1,2121 pixels (0.9 is for 4:3)

If its filmded 60i sticks you to 60i.

See screendump, however this is nec 50i, just choose 60i (two at the bottom)

If you are unsure what is preset to choose dragging a clip in the project window in a new item icon, this will create a sequence corresponding to your images.

  • Is there a way to create a preset for shadows?

I'll put up a model for a new brochure that will require shadows on every product which is put. Is it possible to save a preset for a shadow so I need not re-create the shadow every time? Also this is distributed to many people to work on and effect presets would be extremely beneficial, just not sure if it is possible? Even if it is Indesign, and they are generally on the rise, and for this kind of thing.

    Thank you!

    FF

The eyedropper tool is a quick way to apply the same shadow to multiple objects

But as peter says styles object is a much simpler way.

  • Adobe PE 7 there the good preset for my video camera?

The video that my camera outputs is 1280 × 720 HD video 30 fps in H.264/MPEG-4 AVC format. Should which preset I use in PE 7 for best results?

    Thank you

    Paul

    I don't know that the version 7 has a preset for 1280 x 720 video. Version 8 only.

If so, it is under hard drive camcorder presets. Not AVCHD.

  • How to delete presets for effects to a clip?

I am learning the use of the official document for help from Adobe first Elements 8.

I currently work in Chapter 10, 'Application of effects', section 'Work with the effect presets'-> 'apply a preset of effects '.

The help document does not say how to remove a preset effect you had applied.

I tried to follow the instructions to remove the usual effects, but they don't seem to work in the case of the predefined settings.

How can I remove presets for effects to a clip?

    Itay,

Suppose that I have applied several effects preset to a certain clip.

Now I want to inspect which presets I applied.

Can I do this? If we were talking about the effects rather than predefined effects, it could be accomplished easily, could not?

Inspector (or deletion / to hide/change) the effects that have been applied to a particular item can be made easily in the properties panel.

But I think that what you asked is that the same is possible for the effect presets.

Well the answer is YES and NO, depending on the preconfiguration of effects that you applied and your understanding of the preset.

Presets like - "PIP 40% YOUR Spin Out Top.

Can I go to the properties panel and see any input related to it? Years - no.

    But can I still edit/delete-YES.

Handly I know what/where to change?  -C' is that your understanding of the preset comes into play. Given that the name of the preset bed scale itimplies «PIP 40%...» ' has been reduced to 40%, HEART involves top-right and high SpinOut involves - values of position and rotation have beenkeyframed (animated). This means that you should just go to the motioneffect and change it.

Another example - Presets > Contours beveled > bevel thick edges or Presets > color effects > Super dyed Green

Can I go to the properties panel and see any input related to it? Years - YES, a bevelled edge effect can be seen in Panelfor the first preset properties and a "Tint" effect can be seen in the case of preset rates.

In short, an entry for preseeding of applied effects explicitly appears in the Properties Panel - No.

But I can understand and modify a preset of applied effects or is there a way implicit to differentiate the presets applied effects (> 1) - YES.

Depends on your understanding of the preset.

Itay, effect presets are a cutting-edge concept, and as become familiar you with Preworkflows, you would become little bit more uncomfortable change.

    See you soon!

  • If I restore the presets for keyword it will destroy current keywords in all the catalogues?

I'm working through Classroom in a Book and had to make a separate catalog for the lessons in the book. I'm at a party who is telling me to restore keyword presets, but when I'm ready to do that a warning window appears to ask me if I don't know that I want to do. I guess that it will scan keywords already created to restore keyword presets in the preferences. Is this true? If so, it will wipe away only keywords in the catalog in effect and will be the key words that I created for my main catalog safe? Where are stored the keywords? In the catalog or in the request for Lightroom?

    TIA,

    Ken

PS: what happened to restore other presets a half dozen preferences: are global presets for all catalogs (especially for Lightroom), or simply apply to the open current catalog?

In the catalog or in the request for Lightroom?

Restoration Keyword sets do not remove any existing saved games or remove keywords from your list of keywords. It has the only purpose to restore or to give you (have they been removed) three sets of keyword supplied with Lightroom (photography outdoors, Portrait Photography and wedding photography). Nothing is destroyed when you use this option. The screenshot below is an example, and you will find that it contains 9 predefined keywords (9 being the maximum in any game).

The keyword list is stored in the catalog, but you can export it to a text file (metadata > menu to export keywords). In fact, it's a good idea to export a copy just in case you accidentally delete it or part of it from Lightroom.

PS: what happened to restore other presets a half dozen preferences: are global presets for all catalogs (especially for Lightroom), or simply apply to the open current catalog?

As for the restoration of the keyword lists, restore the other presets is used to you puts one of the built-in presets you may have removed. Restore does not remove everything you may have created.

In general, the Presets and templates are Global by default. However, you have the possibility to store with the catalogue (see Presets Panel in the preferences).  Crop presets are still stored in the catalog. Only global presets/templates are available for all catalogs. Storage of patterns presets with a catalog puts them in a folder in your catalog folder.

Graphic styles can store the application of 3D effect possible other live effects. If you don't want the 3D effect to be stored in Style, a group object to which you apply the 3D effect. Then use the appearances of the group to set the graphic Style.
