Prevent the conversion of text in images of Captivate
When I publish my project (Captivate 9) all the text fields with local variables in appear them differently. Do a little research I found that Captivate converts all static text to PNG images and all text dynamic he knows nothing.
Although the fonts are the same which causes seem them very different and it is obvious to the user.
Anyway, I can tell captivate to not convert PNG images?
Also, I realize that I wouldn't have had this problem, if I had used a sensitive project, but it's a little late in the game to convert this project to a reagent more I have no added features or benefits proposed projects of nature reactive.
Thank you!
You can't tell him not to do so.
You can insert a variable in each text in the legend. Make sure that the variable is not set.

Is my client using the web browser editor can change the position of text and images, the site was built with muse and at first, tell him that he could change the text and images, but he can't change the location of contents of Th.
Now he wants to paste and copy directly from the web browser Publisher Word and wants to change all of the place itself.
Does someone have an answer or another solution?
Philippe
First of all, to answer your question about moving content. No, that is not supported.
Then, never advised him to stick to Word what for the web. Word adds a lot of very strange code that can break your page completely. Tell him if he has a Word to add to the site to paste into Notepad or any other text editor, copy and paste to Muse.

Gray lines during the conversion of Word 2010 images in pdf format
With the new Acrobat X 1 version, I encountered a problem whenever I try to convert images on a Word 2010 document in PDF format. While all the lines on the document are black, many lines including bubble-notes appear very light gray and hard to read. I searched for months for a solution without a bit of luck, and I tried other computers with different versions to check that it was not only my machine.
Y at - it a specific setting I need to change during the conversion to keep the black lines black instead of this weird gray problem? See below, for example.
Previously, the snapshot taken from Microsoft Word:
After the conversion to. Document PDF format, from Acrobat XI:
Thank you for the answers. I found the problem, it was just a simple menu option.
Under Edition > Preferences, I sailed on the Display tab Page and disabled "smoothed art" under the section of rendering. It seems that solved the problem.

XML workflow - adjust the width of text for images frame
Kings of expensive java script,
I was checking writing scripts for based on the xml workflow. Here, I did face the problem, the images do not set in the width of the text (screenshot attached for your reference) frame.
@ I needed: all images automatically fit to the width of the text frame and the resizing of the images also.
Width of the text frame: pt 325,984
Text frame hight: pt 535,748
This fair to the script?
Thanks in advance

How to reduce the space between text and Image
I am trying to wrap text around an irregular shape in InDesign CS4. I used the pen tool to mark the outlines of the image, crop the image, then selected the outline of the pen and pasted the image into the outline. With parameters defined for the TextWrap is in this dialog box, text wrapping seems in good shape on the right side, but he has too much space on the left side.
If I try to reduce the space even further away, it is only on the right side of the image, not the left:
It's the same thing for all my irregular images where I try to wrap the text. How can I reduce the white space to the left of the picture?
You can use direct selection and the pen tool to change the skin path in repositioning of anchor points and guidelines and adding more anchorpoints etc. In this way, you can move the path of the scarf to the inside a little more to allow the best fit of the text. To lock breaks in a bit more on a line-by-line, take into account settings composer to composer Adobe single-line (Control Panel menu)
You can also try to allow hyphenation. With the text aligned to the box on the left will always left a little look gappy I think. However allowing hyphenation will get InDesign to cut the breakpoint to the left of the object with the text, as well as at the end of the line wrapping.
Also if you change the alignment for Justified, you will also get a better result.
On a related side note, I had usually advice my trainees do not to wrap the text on the left and right sides, when the object with the scarf is placed in the middle of a sentence. It makes reading more difficult phrases.
Hope this helps,
CARI

How to prevent the deletion of text Word when drag / drop of Firefox?
When I'm dragging text from a Word document in Firefox, the text is always removed from the Word document!
When I do the same process with Chrome, Chrome will leave the text intact in the original document.
How can I get Firefox to do the same thing?
This is because the computer thinks you want to move this text.
Do it again. BUT after that you hold down the left mouse, hold also

Attribute ID of the blob has text or image
Hi all
Currently, we have many attributes which actually held some files while others like CKEditor blob associated with so that we can write our own text.
I am currently working at heart API where I'm not sure if my attribute will contain the files or just text CKEditor. Is it possible to find? I need to get this blob attribute value in the case where is the one with CKEditor, which are associated with him.
I do not know the most effective way, but if you read the support using AssetDataManager and have located the AttributeData you want to change, you can do something like this:
BlobObject blob = attributeData.getData(); if(blob.getFilename()!=null && blob.getFilename().endsWith(".txt")) { try { String fileContents = org.apache.commons.io.IOUtils.toString(blob.getBinaryStream(), Charset.forName("UTF-8")); String newFileContents = makeChanges( fileContents ); blob.setBinaryData( newFileContents.getBytes("UTF-8") ); } catch(IOException ioe) { // handle exception here, in case there is a problem with the blob } }
then update the asset the usual way with AssetDataManager.update (). This is assuming that your installation of Sites (file.encoding) using UTF - 8.
Kind regards
Stephan.

Hello
I'm using Photoshop CS4

I go to the beach of Select / colors and select ok
But the error message come saying - WARNING: no pixels were selected?
What I want to do is just select the text I typed?
Can someone help me out here?
Thank you
Phillip
Type the text in large bold letters.
Open the image file and drag it to the text file
Hold the Alt key and click in the layers panel to the border between the layers of text and image.
Bingo!
As you can see that the image can be moved around with the tool moving until it looks good.

I am trying to create a PDF of a document Word Mac. In the conversion process text seems to shift - which was on the bottom of the first page in the Word document appears on page 2 of the pdf. Any thoughts?
It's normal. Word past stuff from one page to the other whenever he likes. The key is to make sure that this does not damage your document, for example never typing page numbers or using returns to finish a page.

How to change the background color after the conversion of images in text
I scanned an old book, and then the images converted to text. I have not had any problems with this process. Now, I want to make the text more legible by exchanging the old yellowish background to white, but I'm not sure of the best approach for this company. I tried to simply change the color background in white in Acrobat, but who did not. I do not change the text after I converted it (via OCR). I guess adobe interprets the yellowish background image, and the OCR process has not converted in fact vector 'real' text, but just made it easier to change. When I change the white background, it is not visible, because the yellowish background is an image on top of the background. Or am I way off?
The book is just text, with a few black and white illustrations, diagrams, etc. What would be the process easier to convert the text to text and delete the 'images' yellowish background, so if I wanted to change the white text and black background, for example, I have Then easily change a second time for, say, Brown text and sepia background? I hope I'm making sense.
I found a response to remove the yellowish background on most of the pages (and I feel pretty stupid that I him have not found earlier). The yellowish background is indeed a picture. I can just delete. But I can remove it only if there is just pure text on the page. If I delete the image background with an illustration, illustration is deleted also - the background and the illustration is a picture.
I'll have to do a little work to change the background image that is related to a picture and save it as a .png, so white space is not affected by the background color, I chose. It's a little - a lot of time... unless someone has a better solution?

I don't mind Muse did this on my site downloading, but once my text becomes an image on my site, it creates a halo of light around my text makes it fuzzy. Is there a way to prevent the Muse to change my text in images?
Hello
In my opinion, you use system for text fonts in the site. I suggest that you use either secure Web fonts or self hosted options police.
Please visit the links below to understand how to work with them.

Prevention of the forms of text block
When I draw a shape (box, circle, etc.) with the tool form - I usually insert columns with text inside them. The form is usually a boarder of the page and sometimes I have to change.
Several times just by clicking on my text tool in the area of the shape transforms this form in a block of text.
I need to find a way to prevent the form turns into a block of text.
There are several ways to handle this. One is to turn off the preference which allows the tool to type convert images to text blocks.
Another is to put these borders on their own layer and lock the layer.
A third is actually use the feature to combine the border and a text frame, if it is appropriate for the page layout.
