  In acr 9.0, go in the preferences and down, uncheck the option of GPU down and restart your pc.

  All your windows updates are installed?  Try to clean the Windows thumbnail species.  I think use Adobe the OS dialog for features like open file. Also, to get thumbnails for RAW file PSD files, you will need to install codecs in windows. I use the fastepictureviewer codec package.   When I try to update of Delta Force: Black Hawk Down on my PC, I get the following error:

  WS_ERR:Unknown Winsock error

  When I try to play in multiplayer mode, I get an error that says this page cannot be displayed.
