• Format of TIFF Image Processor bridge

  I use the image processor of the batch to the TIFF JPEG images bridge before Photoshopping them, but I have noticed it saves TIFF with default Mac byte order.

  This usually isn't a problem, but many of these images will move to another Department of my organization for inclusion in books electronic and other digital publications, and the Mac byte order causes problems for them and their production processes, which requires a batch, return to the order of the IBM PC.

  Is any way to change the format of the Image Processor by default of BOM with IBM PC?

  Don't know anything about this problem, but have a suggestion.  You could look in the Russell Brown's Image Processor.  The have not used but comments indicate as bridge over seroids Image Processor.

  I tried to figure out how to do it for a while and just can't figure out how to get my the first two images and JPEG to show my name in the EXIF of the right of author or author entry when you enter in the dialog box "File Info" box so that it displays high display EXIF data using EXIF Viewer or in Bridge CS3.

  Can I get help on this? Point me to a tutorial or something?

  Don't know what you mean with the get info part, but you can make a model

  for metadata, you want to appear in all the files.

  In the metadata high Panel on the right is a small triangle that if you click on it

  Displays a context menu. Inherent choose Create a metadata template. Fill it out

  desired fields and save it as a proper name.

  The model now shows in the submenu even as above as a submenu with append

  or replace the metadata model.

  If you select al files and use the model metadata to add all the files

  you will get your author about this model. Beware that the addition of this model

  some info in other areas or keywords can disappear. Just do a

  test on some files that you already have a return to the top of.

  Using the Adobe Photodownloader within Bridge you have the option of

  Found A Quick Look plugin to view the files of painter for win/mac here. http://painterfactory.com/blogs/spikes_blog/search.aspx?q=RIF+file  After installation, should be re - save your file in painter, then you will get an overview you where looking for.

• Bridge CS3 does not show images

  Today Bridge CS3 partially stopped working.  Images are not displayed in the contents window, but this is not consistent.  It happens with only selected records.  Shows data under filters the data folder.  If I try to open (by clicking on) an non-existent image in the contained window, PS or Camera RAW opens for this image.  I have an internal HD and 3 external drives from LaCie.  Copy a folder assigned to another HD or on the office sometimes works but only intermittently.  All permits, etc. for the files are the same, read/write permissions granted and all the rest the same.  Sometimes the files previously open do not open at a later date.

  I tried restarting the computer and the bridge, no difference.  Two events prior to the problem.  I installed the latest Apple security update and the new update of Adobe Reader.  Except that nothing particular occurred.  I also use Lightroom2 which works OK.  The image are in the files OK, open in PS, etc..  They just do not appear in Bridge.

  My computer skills are average, since Photoshop 6.0 user, taken a number of workshops of PS to SFW and Maine and I am competent using the program.  It's above my head. Help.

  Menu Tools > Cache > purge Cache for folder

  Sounds like a Cache issue.  Tried to purge the Cache for the wrongdoer or the files in the Tools menu of Bridge.

  Bridge 2.x (CS3) was and remains the worst piece of software ever published by Adobe or any other major software developer.  He should be set free by Adobe, but, shamefully, it wasn't.

  Fortunately, bridge 3.x (CS4) is much better.

  try to reset your preferences by CTRL-right after you launch Bridge(you have to be fast, you'll get a dialog box if you succeeded)

  However, you will need to do this only if you do it right in the first place. With a selected image, you will notice small 5 points below its thumbnail in which you can click on to rate things. If you do not see the points then increase the size of the thumbnails by adjusting the slider at the bottom of the screen

• Removal of bridge CS3 with Bridge CS4...

  I clean up the previous version of the suite a mac CS3. However, I had a few questions I was wondering if anyone has a solution.

  When you run Bridge CS3, images there Bridge CS4. There is no export function I know (is there?).   Bridge creates only preview thumbs for its own library of cache and not the

  the original files, they keep intact in the same files you have now

  on your system.

  You can uninstall safely CS3 without loss of images. However you will need to

  to cache the images again at the opening of CS4, but that takes some time.

  You will need to re-create new areas of work for the PS and the bridge, and then set

  preferences back to your wishes, but that is only once. Keep in mind that

  actions and brushes that you have created or loaded onto your CS3 application not

  automatically copy. Better PS CS3 save you first in a folder, you can

  easy access and in CS4 load again of this issue.

  IM new to this forum and this website. It seems interesting, and for now I have a problem that I hope someone can helpe me with. Here it is:

  When I click on a RAW image in Bridge (CS3), she, after one second, turns very dark and loses a lot of color. In other words, it makes the photo looks very bad!

  The colourchange stays on when I open the image in Camera Raw of Photoshops, and when I go and open it in Photoshop 'normal '.

  Sorry, Frank, I forgot that the camera profiles are not included with 4.x. You had to download them separately.

  Both 4.5 was released, you had to use the beta profiles, here:

  CS4/CR5.x from, they have included profiles of camera with plug in Camera Raw and the DNG Converter. So, you could either download the beta version, above, or install the DNG Converter 5.7 (which should also install profiles).

  Then you should see the new profiles listed in the camera Calibration tab.

  BTW, the second photo looks bad to me - much too red.

  To open a RW2 file, you need a minimium of ACR 5.4.  Since CS3 goes up to 4.6 you have to level or convert images into digital negative to view in Bridge.  Please download the latest ACR 6.1 for a conversion? for the DNG Converter.

  For the first time, bridge will not be in service, either from CS3 or areas of XP programs at startup. I downloaded and inrtalled the Bridge CS3 2.1.1 update and it did not help.   You need to reset your preferences.    Hold down the crtl + shift + alt keys and start photoshop.  You will be a "Remove Adobe PS settings file" window.  Click Yes.   For detailed instructions, see FAQ on the right side of the main page of the forum.

  To reset the preferences in bridge CTRL key hold and launch Bridge.   You get a reset window, choose all 3 options.

  Your may need to perform one or both, didn't know exactly where your problem lies, but try the bridge option first.

• EXTREMELY slow bridge (CS3)

  I'm in Bridge CS3.  I have a subdirectory with 134 JPG images in it and none of the subdirectories out of it.  In addition, most operations being quite slow, when I select 'Click to display the items in the current folder and its subfolders', there is an EXTREME delay around 5 minutes before displaying 134 images.  I'm doing something wrong?  I have a very large drive, so I left the bridge to generate the largest amount of memory cache.

  Things should not be run faster than that?

  I might add that this delay remains once I return to the normal display and then switch to the display of "All subfolders" once again.  It's not faster, the second time around.

  Does this mean that you have the cache size slider all the way to the right, or a huge cache as a separate partition folder?  If so what size?

  If the cursor is completely right that it will seriously affect the performance of the computer.  Keep it near the middle (50-70% range).

  134 photos JPEG should load in a Flash, unless you have a very old computer.

  When I open the tiff file in pictureviewer, I only could see a page and an image... But no matter, you should save the images in separate files for access in LabVIEW.
