Print missing at the top of the page

I have a series of 1310 printer all-in-one that works very well. However, recently it does not print the first 3 "of a test or alignment page correctly, the bottom of half the characters are printed.  I am reluctant to realign the printer for this reason. Strangley, printing of documents seems ok at the moment.

I have changed the cartridges, cleaned the contacts, downloaded the driver updates and clean the Strip coding. Is there anything else I can do or is it time to replace?

Hello

I see that you have a problem with the printer alignment.  Now, you are saying if you do a test print or an alignment page it cuts the text but, if you print a regular document it prints well?

I suggest to do a hard reset with the printer:

Hard Reset:

Unplug the laptop in the back of the printer and then on the wall. Once you disconnect the two, wait 30 seconds then plug it back in the printer first, then the wall.

After this USB port power cord back in and try to print.

Let me know the results.

I look forward to you have the answer.

    RickT2,

    Welcome to the HP Forum.

If the first page prints OK and then subsequent pages tend to stick or the text wanders a bit, then perhaps adjust the media type would help.

    Assumption

Setting the media type tells the rolls expected in what kind of paper - this could help pull the paper but at the right speed and tension to allow the text to apply to the location appropriate during each pass.

Paper size and media Type are selected in the printing preferences:

Control Panel > display icon > devices and printers > right click on your printer >

Printing preferences > tab paper / quality >

Select the paper Source > have desired / needed by printer model

Select the paper size > have desired / necessary for the print job

Select Support > have desired / necessary for the print job - for example: paper matte brochure for labels

  • HP Photosmart C7280: photos C7280 print sideways on the page

    Wireless to iMAc

    Hey @WillyB1,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you have some problems with the orientation when printing from your Mac OS x 10.10 for the all-in-one Photosmart C7280 printer machine. I can help you with that.

Here is how we will correct this:

    1. Close all other programs that you have open.
    2. If the USB cable is connected to the Mac, delete it.
    3. Click on your Apple icon, system preferences and printers and Scanners.
    4. Hold down the CTRL key and click on the image to your printer on the left side.
    5. Click on reset printing system.
    6. Open Applications, utility and disk utility.
    7. Click "Macintosh HD" on the left.
    8. Click on verify disk permissions. This should take about 10 minutes.
    9. Click on repair disk permissions. This should take about 10 minutes.
    10. Restart your Mac.

Now, if you have disconnected the USB cable, plug it. Otherwise:

    1. Click the icon of your Apple preferences system, printers and Scanners.
    2. Click on the button "+" at the bottom left.
    3. Select your printer from the list.
    4. Click the check box next to and select your printer.
    5. Click on Add.

At this point, you should be able to change the orientation of the print window. When you open the window, you should see two icons that resemble sheets of paper. By clicking on them should change the orientation. If not, please try to open your photo printing to a different program and see if the icons.

Please let me know if this allows you to print or if you have any other questions. If not, have a great week!

If it solves your problem, please help other users find this thread by clicking on accept Solution below my post.

If you appreciate my help, please click on the icon below my post thumbs up.

  • HP 5200 - print all of the pages that overlap on the first page

I'm having a problem with one of my users while trying to print on our 5200 s HP.

This just started happening today and not affect any other users who also use printers.

When the user prints a document of several pages, it prints all the pages on a single page with all the text overlapping. Here is what I tried so far to fix it, nothing helps:

-Other models HP print very well

-Other profiles on the same PC with the same problem

-J' changed the processor to "Winprint" - no luck

    -Update the driver does not

-Remove the checkbox for 'Enable advanced features' doesn't fix it.

-J' removed all traces of the printer in the registry and it still does the same thing.

    Help, please!

It seems that if I use the 64-bit of Windows xp for the printer driver it solves the problem.

    Thanks for nothing, everybody.

  • Extra page prints when I print selects only the pages in a pdf

When I have a several page pdf and I want to print less than the full document, my print job always starts on an extra blank page at the end. If I print the entire document, it does not generate an additional page. I've tested this in Word and Word prints only the pages with none of the additional pages.

Any ideas what the problem may be?

    Thanks for your help.

Sorry I'm late getting back. I solved the problem, so in the interest of those who may encounter this problem later, I write I find the solution.

I tried your suggestion first and second. None worked. I could not try the third suggested fix that I'm on a work computer and apparently did not have the administrative rights to create a new user account (at least, I couldn't figure out how to do).

After a lot of digging and experimenting, here's what has worked in the end.

Start > devices and printers > right click on the printer > printer properties > Advanced tab > uncheck "Enable advanced features of print" > apply > OK.

I have determined that, somehow, it was a problem of separator page, but it's the only way I could find to disable the separator page.

Hope this helps someone in the future.

  • Print option for the page to print no?

Is it possible to select a page to not print when you print to a pdf package? without having to change to print setting every time that you print?

    Hi kristas61535376,

Try to change the settings in the print options and see if it works.

Open Acrobat > click on print > under Pages to print > select the page range you want to print and have not let.

For ex - there are 10 pages, and you don't want page 5 to print.

Under Pages to print, type 1-4, 6-10.

    Here is the screenshot:

  • print all of the pages that have highlights

My apologies if this isn't apparent. I've searched and searched. Acrobat X Pro running. At 1150 pages in pdf format. Want to search for and highlight several different words and phrases - then print ONLY the pages that have a word or phrase. Trying to figure out how to use bookmarks to do this - or something. Seems that this is a common need. Is it possible - without scripting something (that I have no time to learn how to make this project). Thank you.

    Hi swtrader2,

I found this older article which may be just what you're looking for. You can use the tools of Protection of Document (drafting).

The key is to not do the second part of the drafting process in two steps. The first step is just words; the second removes them from the document.

The research and marking of multiple words in a PDF document

You will notice that some option names are slightly different in your version of Acrobat (for example, you select text search & delete in the Protection component in the Toolbox). But I think you get the basic information you need of this clever workaround.

Eager to learn how it works for you.

    Best,

    Sara

  • Print or send the page or pdf integrated

Is it possible to print or send a page or pdf file integrated since the application?

I want to create a button that gives the order to send or print the page where you are.

Is this possible? I also joined a PDF file that I want to print. Persists in their subject?

Or do I have to have extern PDF when I want to print/send them?

    Thanks for all the help...

It is not possible with DPS. You will need an external PDF in a drive that supports printing or sending.

  • "ok, cancel, help to" buttons missing on the page options. A change to v38.01?

Hello and thank you I only have a button at the bottom of the page options, in categories like security or advanced etc. Once the three, ok, cancel and help. Now just one with a '? ' in this regard. Is it a simple change in v.38? Just hoping I don't have some malware change things around! Summer is here! Thanks again.

Hi, don't worry! Options to open in a tab, and the changes are saved automatically. You can close it by clicking on the 'x' close tab that you would have another tab.

If you really don't like it, you can return to the old window Options by: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.preferences.inContent and double-click on it to change the "value" from true to False, taking care to not to change what anyone else. You will then need to restart Firefox.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

    Hello

I extended a VO and extended vo has a query with where clause clause: where has one condition with bind variable as:

    vo.setWhereclauseparams (null);

    vo.setwhereClauuseparam(0,variable) / / variable contains the value of req_head_id

    vo.executeQuery ();

Will it work? It will show previous results on this page with different req_head_id?
