  I don't know if this is the problem, but it is something that must be correct establish a secure connection:

  Open Date and time preferences system, Date & time tab. Make sure that it is set to automatically set the time.

  Alternatively, make sure that your date/time is correctly set to the second.

  Try to run your device in safe mode. You should be able to remove the theme of the problem. I suggest a peripheral complete backup using Desktop Manager before deleting anything.

  new blackberry... have the 9630 Tour and am very happy so far but I have a few problems with the Visual Voicemail:

  YES... Press the phone icon to get the phone, press the Menu, goto Options.  Select Call Logging, then choose 'None' will benefit more triple notifications, but missed calls still appears in the list of phone.

  With respect to the AVC and the Home icon reconcile... always disturbing.

  Wow... it sounds as if you have an old configuration of GMail in BIS... see this article:

  This problem was actually fixed several months ago... If you configure your GMail account to provide IMAP and then delete and recreate your conduit BIS, it shouldn't be a problem. There are all kinds of improvements through the last sheet of GMail in (I have not tried, btw - I use the application add-on GMail rather than BIS for my GMail accounts).

  With respect to the acknowledgement of receipt that you get - you must go to the configuration of your BB Messages and which turns off:

  • Home screen > Messages > BBKey > Options > e-mail settings > (choose the GMail account if you have several) > delivery confirm > set on no.

  In fact, I got my answer from another forum of customer.  What I had to do, is to perform a hard or soft reset of my blackberry curve.  I chose a warm reboot and that seems to have done the trick.

  Before I can get by email or phone on my BlackBerry, I must first click OK several times to dismiss the calendar to display notifications. Is there a way to disable these notifications?

  I use mainly my BlackBerry during the day, so accumulate calendar notifications. Then in the evening I want to check emails or make a quick call. I wake up the BlackBerry and am forced to click OK several times to remove all notifications of calendar before I can read an email or make a call. I would like to disable this function of "convenience".

  To turn off notifications, go to your calendar, press the menu key and choose Options. Select the calendar you want to disable. Change the option to display reminders to no. that will eliminate pop-up reminders on your BlackBerry for this calendar.  If you have reminders of several calendars, for each affected.

  I have a new BB 8830 and I get the same message again and again in my SMS Inbox. It reads:

  It says it stops automatically, but it obviosuly haat ' t. I contacted Sprint of support that was a total waste of time. Any help would be appreciated to even understand what causes this message I get around 30-40 a day, even at 1:00, which is really annoying because I have to have my phone 24/7

  Well, it seems, after much research, that there is a problem with the internet messaging system. 9114 indicates it is a yahoo account. As this is a new phone number for me and I had not set up a personal email yet, I can only assume it's a wedge of the former owner of phone number. Once I created my own Yahoo account with the phone via the email service blackberry internet, it must have overwirtten settings and now I have not received a single message since.

  What I gethered you can also go online for Manager messages and to 'block' sprint of this number, although I can not do because it is a phone company and we have no access to the account manager system

  Thanks, but it seems that your not getting mean. The solution you gave is very correct, I can't connect the BB to my laptop. The phone does not start at the home screen, it displays "ERROR 525 of JVM. Whenever I am trying to connect to the laptop, it restarts and displays ERROR 525. If it can connect to my laptop, I'll e able to reload a new OS, but it connects to the system at all.

  OK... just tried to remove the BDM AW again.  This time, he said "downgrade" so I chose that.  He ran and of course reset.  The device is restarted, I tried to use it and it froze.  Pulled the battery for a few minutes and then put back.  After this restart the new version of AW has shown on the home screen.  Connected to BDM again to check the version and it's news.  Very strange events here.  Still convinced that I have faulty hardware.  Thanks for trying it.

  Friday 23, stopped Emails rushed on my camera down.

  Gmail account in the access logs, you can clearly see "68.171.236.171" in checking every so often, and that the IP resolves to bda-68-171-236 - 171.bise.eu.blackberry.com, so the link to Gmail-BIS (homefully) works.

  After two telephone calls to O2, they told me that there is no '500 messages in the queue' to come down from my camera. Well, where the hell they come, since I was about 180 e-mails (GitHub and Heroku post push and deployment of the hooks) waiting in the Inbox, and so I left wondering where the 320 - ish emails arrived from in the queue of BIS.

  Anyway, the person at O2 told me to delete all the emails out of the device, because it may be too big for the emails to be pushed down. She also said that if it does not work I need to get in the shop, I got it for repair. Big head unhappy since the store that we got is quite long by car and I'll be without my phone on vacation next week.

  So, anyone have any suggestions for what I would do, because I don't want to be without a phone for the next x weeks (or said by the way, does anyone know how long it takes O2 to fix this problem?)

  You have BIS blocked in your firewall, you?  Look into the Options > Security Options > firewall
