  • Print screen button does not work

I have a Lenovo R61i Notebook.  Print screen button does nothing.  How can I print screen on this computer?

I'm not familiar with your product, but on my SL500, there is a Fn key at the bottom left of the keyboard.  If I press on that and press the print screen (F6) and then open my Windows Paint program (or any other image editing program, I guess), I can 'stick' the image of the screen then change for my taste and export in jpg or bitmap or print on my printer.

Using the PrtScr button takes a screenshot and put it in your Clipboard. You must then use another program (e.g. Windows 7 Paint) and paste so that it becomes a new image which you can then manipulate or print.

    "Print Screen" is a misnomer.

  • my print screen button does not work

Why my "prt scr" button does not work?

Why my "prt scr" button does not work?

In the days of DOS, the print screen button to print the screen. But in all versions of Windows, it works differently, and the key name has become an anachronism. The key is * not * print screen. PrtScrn captures the entire screen and Alt-PrtScrn captures the active window.

Either a capture of the image in the Windows Clipboard. Once it is on the Clipboard, you can paste it (Ctrl + V) into any application that supports the graphics (Windows Paint, other software graphics, even your favorite word processor). You can change or add to the image that you want, and then print it out.

This ability to manipulate the image in a program before printing is an improvement to the original method of printing the whole back. But if you like that old return facility, there are several third party freeware/shareware programs that can do it, like PrintKey2000 to http://www.sharewarejunkies.com/00zwd2/printkey2000.htm

    Hello

I have a Lenovo 8821 keyboard. The print screen key is not in the usual place (next to F12) and I can't anywhere else. In its place is a simply labeled "Fn" key and next to it, a touch of break. I'm desperate to get the job print screen - someone has any ideas?

Print screen (with or without Fn key) key does not start any process?

The PrintScreen key is misnamed.  It copies the screen to the Clipboard, so you can paste the image into Paint or other graphics application.

It has nothing to do with printing [and did not over fifteen years].

I don't know your laptop, so I can't tell you where it is. But here, it's
my standard ticket on how to use it:

In the days of DOS, the print screen button to print the screen. But
in all versions of Windows, it works differently and the name of
the key is now an anachronism. The key is not to print the screen.
PrtScrn captures the entire screen and Alt-PrtScrn captures activate
    window.

Either a capture of the image in the Windows Clipboard. Once it is in
the Clipboard, you can paste (Ctrl + V) into any application that
supports graphics (Windows Paint, other graphics software, even your)
favorite text processing). You can change or add to the image you
    like, then print it out.

This ability to manipulate the image in a program before printing
is an improvement on the original method of printing the whole back.
But if you like that old return facility, there are several
freeware/shareware programs from third parties which can do, such as

  • Button print screen causing the project to move forward

I've added some JavaScript to a button in my captivate successfully project > run JavaScript > Script window > Window.Print

This works very well for print screen, however, by clicking on the button as the project to move to the next slide.

Advice on how to get the screenshot feature without advancing the blade would be greatly appreciated. We intend to publish using HTML5 output only.

The majority of e-Learning projects, we are working on that requires a print screen button, it would be a very useful feature if it were to be added to Captivate without having to dabble with JavaScript.

    Thanks in advance.

Replace the simple action by a standard tip action to avoid the playback head moving forward.

  • How to find the print screen prints.

I know how to do screen printing, but where can I find plans? I need to send one to a software support technician.

    Thank you!

When you press the print screen button, the screenshots are not saved anywhere, but are copied to the Clipboard.

You must go to a photo app as (even paint will do), then 'paste' (ctrl + v) the contents of the Clipboard.

You can also use a screen capture tool, like the App "Extract tool" built in Windows 7 (and maybe 8, idk)

  • Print screen keyboard

I have a keyboard wireless MS 2000 and two monitors.  When I hit the print screen button, it shows what is on both monitors.  How to print only one?

Perhaps you are thinking 'print the current page or active pane', this

    would be: CTRL + P

For all the xp keyboard shortcuts, go to the microsoft KB:301583

Regarding the two print monitors, microsoft has a utility called:

Exponent of Windows Media. Its an add-on for utilities WM, he specifically

lets you control 2 or more screens.

Try to download center or research online, it's hard to find the download

XP is not a cutting tool. You will need to use the print screen button with MS Paint which is a real PITA bread. I suggest you download one of these freeware tools and make life more simple.
