Print screen keyboard

I have a keyboard wireless MS 2000 and two monitors.  When I hit the print screen button, it shows what is on both monitors.  How to print only one?

Perhaps you are thinking 'print the current page or active pane', this

would be: CTRL + P

For all the xp keyboard shortcuts, go to the microsoft KB:301583

Regarding the two print monitors, microsoft has a utility called:

Exponent of Windows Media. Its an add-on for utilities WM, he specifically

lets you control 2 or more screens.

Try to download center or research online, it's hard to find the download

    Hi MOE SPARKY ROUNDHOUSE.

What happens when you try to use the screenshot?

You can paste your screenshot in Paint, which is a drawing software that you can use to crop, rotate and resize images.

To paste a screenshot into a paint file

    1. Open Paint by clicking the Start button, all programs, accessories, and then click Paint.
    2. Click on edit and then click on paste.

Since I replaced the original keyboard with Microsoft wired keyboard 600 print screen functions are sporadic at best.  Sometimes Ctrl + PRTSCN works and especially it's not.  Even when Ctrl + print screen does not work I can not copy the active window by using Alt + PRTSCN.   I have a Setup dual monitor at work so that I can have the database, file explorere and opened in a window screen and development in another email.  I tried to download the driver from the Microsoft Web site, but he says that drivers that are installed are later.  (installed on the disc that came with the keyboard)

Other than to start Microsoft keyboard anyone elese have all the solutions to make it work?

    Hello

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Follow these steps to run the keyboard Diagnostics

    (a) start Microsoft Keyboard Diagnostics. To do this,
Click Start, click run, type mskey in the Open box, and then click OK.

    (b) press several keys to verify that the keys match the keys identified in the MS Key window.

    (c) when you are finished, click exit.

If you get no response in MS Key on your keyboard, test the keyboard on another computer

Method 2: You can also use the on-screen keyboard and check if you are able to take screenshot.

  • When I take a screenshot by pressing the print SCREEN key on my keyboard, I can't get a screen shot in small size, in a Word document.

    Original title: screen printing.

    Hi supperman.

I have a problem with the screen capture. When I take a screenshot by pressing the print SCREEN key on my keyboard, I can't get a screen shot in small size, in a Word document.

someone knows the reason for this? How can I get a screenshot in a normal size. Thank you very much.

    Hi tony.wang,

If you copy the screenshot in a Word file, it will be the default page of the word file size. It will be in a smaller size to fit into the Word file.

However, if you want to open the full-size screen capture, you can use Microsoft Paint on Windows application.

  • Using keyboard to screen print screen

Well, first of all, thank you for taking the keyboard to the screen much larger and more usable in W7 from XP.  All good, until you must 'Print Screen', at which point you get a huge part of the screen you want to pas-est-a-dire the new expanded the virtual keyboard.

So, is there a way to use the on-screen keyboard to print whole screen and not in itself - sort of as you would get if it was really a keyboard - imagine annoy him, it would be for all users if whenever they used this function he inserted a nice big picture of your real keyboard on did you actually... Hum, this has been a problem with XP, now a bigger - 4 times as big, in fact, with W7.

    Thanks for the pointers.

    Hello

Well, if you want to take screenshots of the screen then, you can use the Cup on Windows 7 tool that can be used to capture a screenshot of the screen, or snip, of any object on your screen, and then annotate, save, or share the image.

See this link for more information about how to use the cutting tool:

  • How to print screen with keyboard 1. 0 has (1045)?

I tried to use the prtscr print screen button and paste it into the e-mail.  It did not work.  Then shift-prtscr tried and it don't work any more.

Tapping PrtScr will take a screenshot of the entire desktop and put on the Clipboard in a raw. In BMP format. Alt + PrtScr will do the same with only the (targeted) window above. I'm not sure that SHIFT-PrtScr does nothing more than duplicate the PrtScr command.

As much as paste in an email is concerned, depends a lot what you use to compose the email. Regarding emails on a web browser, this procedure works in Gmail, but not in Yahoo mail. If you use Outlook as a dedicated mail client, this works well and has some additional image format options.

Have you tried the Vista Snipping Toolcommand of file, send to, recipient of Email ? This may not work on webmail. As indicated above, a lot depends on what you use to compose your email.

I have Windows XP - Pro.  The "Print Scr" button does not work and niether is the combination of keys 'Alt + P'.  My keyboard is not an "F LOCK" / key "F Lock feature" because it has a "Num Lock" key  There's no other keys on my key Board that suggest even a '___Lock' of any kind.  If not, how can I get this feature.  Oh... and one more thing, Microsoft/people sending responses to others, here, to "Social responses" can you try to be a little more specific with what you're talking about?  As your knowledge is greatly appreciated by many, many of us are unfamilliar with computers and have NO idea what you're referring to.  When Microsoft did not find something or is just lazy to do so, he advises people to "ask the administrator of the computer.  I'm the "computer administrator", but I'm inexperienced! How does it work?  Thank you all.

This ability to manipulate the image in a program before printing

  • could not find USB device & not print screen

I'm sorry, but I have another question. I'm so sick of this. I swear that my system, the material is good (tablet of Motion LE1600 quite common with WinXP svc pk 3 & Security Essentials from a full reimage a month ago)

All of a sudden today, my tablet is not my mobile phone which is connected with a USB cable, so ActiveSync starts. I messed with the USB cable and moved to another plugin. It plugs into the Tablet directly and not through the recharge base.

In addition, at the same time, my USB keyboard does not at all on this pc. But the USB mouse works fine!

So there is a problem with the USB plug-ins, I guess. Do not know what has been changed, but I've probably done something, or who knows...

In addition, my e: drive drive USB which uses the Live Image to make full backups said it is in pause Mode. Don't know what it is, but I bet that it is not connected somehow, although if I look at my computer, I see e: listed there.

And when I start my pc and connect, I get this pop up in the taskbar saying that some Windows delayed write failed for a file named e:\$Mft. The data has been lost (?). Since print screen will not work to create an image in Paint Shop Pro, it has been challenging trivia note.

And I look at the table Motion, which helps you set up the Tablet and periphials, dashboard and under Microsphone, he said an input control limited - Knowles Intellisonic software is not enabled.

I looked in all programs and in my computer > all programs and I see nothing named Knowles and Intellisonic. I have no idea what to do, TI, it is still important.

    Help!

Solved (for now!). I went to F8 on reboot and did the last good known Configuration and it worked. I'm very happy now...

  • I want to use the print SCREEN key, but does not work.

Using Vista, I want to activate my key on my keyboard screenshot to capture what I have on my screen at the same time.  When I press it, nothing happens.  Is there something that I need to program to operate?

You must stick somewhere after you press the button.

    http://www.SeoConsultants.com/Windows/print-screen/

Often abbreviated Prt Scr, print screen key is a useful key supported by most of the PC. On the BACK, by pressing the print screen key causes the computer to send some images and text are currently on the screen to the printer. Some graphics programs and Windows, use the print screen button to get screenshots.

Now, how to see the screenshots or maybe even send them to someone? The fastest and most effective method is to have a practical graphic editing program. If this isn't an option, you can open your favorite word processing program and create a new document. Place your cursorat the beginning of the document, or wherever you want the screenshot to appear.

Using your keyboard, press Ctrl + V which will Paste the screenshot in your open document
