This is not possible with the free player. You must have Acrobat to do.

    I scanned a form and when I open it with Microsoft Works word processor processor, I can't fill in the information. It scanned on a HP printer scanner and it appears as a tiff document, but I can't complete the informatim.

    Hello

    TIFF format means "Tagged Image File Format" you can not change or fill in the text in this format. I suggest you download the. PDF form once again and then fill out the form and save it and then parse the file to TIFF.

    Alternatively, you can try to convert the file to TIFF to word. I suggest you to search Tiff converter for word online and try to convert.

  • Problem Chrome print PDF form

    I created 1 page PDF files that contain form fields that my client will expand before distributing to employees, who can choose to print them. When I test print the PDF with the fields completed in DC Acrobat or Reader, everything works perfectly. However, when I print from Chrome with the default settings ('fit to page' is checked), it prints only the first characters in the first two fields, and the other two fields are empty. When I uncheck the "fit to page" option it works and all the field is visible, but the customer is not satisfied with it - they want completely infallible so it can be printed from any browser. They are asking the impossible? I just need to tell them that they should use Acrobat Reader?

    I also have another problem print Safari. The content of the fields is here, but the field gets thrust upward so not in line with the rest of the text.

    I have created many forms that do not have this problem, and I'm going crazy trying to figure out what's different about this one. Here's a link to the file, if someone wants to check.

    This looks like a bug in the PDF of Chrome Viewer. You will notice that the fields get straight cut where the right side of the page would be when 'fit to page' is not selected. You can report bugs in pdfium here: questions - pdfium - PDFium - Google Project Hosting

    Regarding Safari, if she is using the (preview) integrated PDF Viewer, it has bad support for PDF forms and does not attract the fields in the same way that Adobe only with Acrobat/Reader, so there may be differences in the appearances of field.

  • Is it possible to designate stapling when you print a PDF form?

    I'm using Adobe life cycle Designer (ver. 10.0.1029120306.1.870331) to set up a new report of an SAP application.  I can certainly appoint double-sided printing of in the form using form properties and the printing of PDF Options, but no stapling option cannot be found.  Is this possible?  Is there a way to set up a PDF form?  If this isn't the case, in the form, what others have found to work for their environment?  We use printers Xerox GPD PS here and they certainly offer the feature stapling.

    Thanks for your suggestions... Pat

    OK... it was a crazy race, but between our core team and the server team (which manages our printer drivers), here's what they came with to enable this feature.  Really, they have been slow to understand this.  References to the PRD in this document is a reference to our production machine.  ZPMLOCL is a type of printer used by our users to print these forms of work order.  We also received a lot of effort to ensure that the driver of the printer made in charge of the stapling feature (most do more).  This effort is to allow not only staple, but to also eliminate the pesky banner page that can suddenly start printing with these changes.  We use Xerox printers in our environment.

    Steps to the part of the base of the PRD change on the document of paper - work Standard order form - shop

    1. (STMS) Type of transport ZPMHPLJ4 of PRD with Transport
    2. SPAD
      1. Change the printer device type ZPMLOCL of SAPWIN to ZPMHPLJ4.
      2. Click the method access tab and change the method to access G: (end print with control Tech).
      3. Check that the 'No device selection to frontend' is selected.
      4. Press the "Save" button.
    3. Copy the file zpmhppcl5e.xdc from AD1 to ADS, at the following location.

    4 SA38 / SE38 * run the program RSPO0022 PRD and check to see if the transport of step 1 move the assignment below.
    If it's not create trust the same as in the red box below.

    5. Finally, stop and then start the form XML Module Java Service in the ADS.

    I have no other notes on this configuration.  I hope that helps you in your efforts to get the stapling feature upward and running on your system.

  • Photosmart 5510: Fill pdf form text only, not print boxes on my Photosmart 5510. How can I include boxes?

    I have downloaded a form of federal Government to fill, typed all the required information in the text boxes, presented in preview the document in the preview application Mac - no problem and print to my HP Photosmart 5510 all-in-one. The output text was fine, but no text box printed. The instructions accompanying the form indicates that the printed application must match the shape exactly that they will treat. The menu for the 5510 doen't show a print or documents and markup box dialog box to check. Any suggestions?

    I decided that the problem was not the printer but the program Apple prediction so I used the laptop HP from my wife to complete the form to fill out and print exactly as it is laid out on the screen. I constantly printing problems between my Mac and the HP printer so I now default to a PC for printing purposes.

  • Can you help me to insert a JAVA script into an Adobe PDF form I created.

    I have never programmed in Java and need a Java script to insert in a calculation field in an Adobe PDF form that I created using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  This form will be the one that can be filled on the PC or printed and filled out manually.  The calculated field will display a zero unwanted when printing and I want it to be empty.  Another field will be a calculated percentage and displays an error when there is no divider; a similar problem, I want to be a Virgin and the person filing the form manually to calculate the field and write.  I don't have time to learn

    The Excel formula would be: If (Cell_1A = "", "", Cell_1A + Cell_1B)

    What would be the JAVA script in a dialog box "Simplified field Notation" or "custom calculation Script?

    Both of these things require a custom calculation. For the script of the division, you can use something like this:

    var a = Number(this.getField("Field A").value);
    var b = Number(this.getField("Field B").value);
    if (b==0) event.value = "";
    else event.value = a/b;

    For the conditional script, you can use this:

    var a = this.getField("Cell_1A").valueAsString;
    var b = this.getField("Cell_1B").valueAsString;
    if (a=="") event.value = "";
    else event.value = Number(a)+Number(b);

  • Help!  Can I add an additional field to an existing PDF form?

    I have an existing PDF I created from a Word Doc and have made this PDF file in a form with many drop-down list fields, specially formatted fields, fields, ect.

    Now I need to add another field of this form (i.e. a table "office use only"), however I don't want to do it in the Word Doc, convert to PDF and then having to recreate the PDF form from scratch, I did a huge amount of work, the creation of all fields in the form.

    Is there a way I can make the necessary changes to my Word Doc, covert, he to a new PDF and then merge to my existing PDF, while keeping all the form fields is just to add an additional field that and as I can then turn it into form fields?

    I already tried - to create the table in Word, print screen, save it in JPEG format and insert into my existing PDF.  The picture is not as crispy as it should be and looks like a ' add to ' I don't really want to.

    The table I want to insert has formatting special meets a company style guide, so I really need to create it in Word to keep the required formatting.

    HELP PLEASE!

    Hi jlgrobbelaar,

    Yes, you can use the Replace Pages to keep all the form fields and scripts, as they are now in your original PDF.  Here is a tutorial on the use of Pages - replace

    https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-to-replace-the-background-pages-in-a-PDF-form

    If you add your new field/area to the form results in changes of layout for the form then you may need to move the fields in place, but it's better than having to add everywhere.

    Hope this helps,

    Dimitri
