print the booklet of the book

I have created a book 3 section with each section of an individual indesign file. I have collected them in the book. Can I combine the files and print a booklet of the book using the printed brochure. If not how do I print my booklet

Thank you

Bill

File > export PDF

In acrobat, you can print the booklet print brochures | Acrobat, Reader

You can also set up a new document with the same page size and use the script below to place your PDF in InDesign

Then use the Multipage importer to place pages in place and use the printed booklet.

  • How to print (or export) a list of the books in the iBooks?

I don't want to print the books themselves, just a list of all the books I own. I would rather print the list directly from iBooks, but it would also work to export the list of numbers or pages and print it from there. I can never remember what I have a lot of books. I even bought the same book twice.

    Hey, Krasna.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. Purchases of information tells me that you are eager to find out how you can keep track of your iBooks. I have lots of iBooks myself, so I certainly understand wanting to keep track of them all - I'd be happy to help you!

While it is not a way to export a list of all your books in the iBooks app, you can see all your books within the application itself. On a Mac, you have several options for viewing your iBooks, all listed through the top center of the application.

    1. Under the books section, you will see all your books and their covers. A cloud in the upper right corner icon means that you bought the book, but it is not downloaded to your device.

    2. Under the Collections section, you will have the option to search through all the purchases of your iBook as well as of different categories such as books, files, PDF and the current (which shows iBooks you are currently reading).

    3. The authors section allows you to see all your iBooks, sorting by author.

    4. The Categories section lists all your iBooks by category, for example, Action & adventure, Fantasy or Biographies.

    5. Finally, the section of list displays all your iBooks, in alphabetical order, in a list. You also be able to see the title, author, category, collection, read last date, date added, size, and that he has downloaded on your device, or even in the cloud. This is probably the view you'd be more interested in keeping track of what iBooks you already own.

You can take screenshots of the list of books you have and you can print if you want a printed list of the books you own. You can find out how to take a screenshot here:

  • Cannot print the booklet from InDesign to PDF

I've upgraded to Acrobat 9.5.5, OS is Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and am trying to print a booklet from InDesign CS5. I can export regular documents very well, but when I'm in the book window and try to save it as a pdf, I get the message "the Save as PDF option in the printer dialogue don't is not supported." I read through the discussions earlier on Snow Leopard and much more, but haven't found the solution.

  • InDesign CS5.5 'n' print as this booklet to print the even-numbered Pages

I'm having a problem with printing Indesign CS5.5 booklet. I've not used it before, so I'm not too familiar with it, but here's my problem:

I am print the document (made up of format letter pages face to face) format PostScript, then conversion to PDF with Distiller. When I preview the document in the print booklet dialog box, it looks good and shows all the pages face to face in the right order. But when I print the PostScript file and use Distiller to convert it to a PDF file, all that I get in my final file are the same pages (the 'left').

I try to print my file on tabloid paper so that my book ends of letter size. But printing booklet pages sends are only letters of size. It's as if somehow in the process, the odd pages are cut off and I find myself only with pages the same letter size.

No idea what I am doing wrong? How can I get the pages to finish on tabloid paper and loses not all pages?

Any help you might be able to provide would be much appreciated!

    Thank you

    Landon

    System information:

    Mac OS x 10.7 Lion

    Adobe InDesign CS5.5

It seems that the file is not set to tabloid in postscript, so it is of culture off the coast on the right side. Print PostScript for distilling is quite complex on Mac these days. You must use the AdobePDF ppd, not independent device, and I do not think that it is installed anywhere, by default. • is it possible to print a list of the books in the iBooks library

I have a very large library in iBooks and you want to print a "catalogue" of these books. Anyone know how this can be done?

    Hello

Yes it is possible, use the export list file.app of Mac App Store.

But after exporting to Excel, you must manually change the titles of books.

First create a destination folder in the Finder, iBooks or something like that.

    Advance adjustment:

Then click choose a folder in the window of export of the list of files updated.

Go to ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks/Books and click Select.

    Then save in Excel.

    Record in the destination folder.

    The Excel file opens immediately.

Now you can manually edit the titles of books.

  • How we understand the equivalent page number in the printed version of the book?

I am a teacher and I attributed to my students the printable version of a book. I read the book in ibooks and now have to find all my quotes highlight page numbers in the printed version. Is it possible to do this?

I think all you can do is to compare the total number of pages in both versions and apply the appropriate for your quote numbers percentage.

  • How to print a booklet without the back being upside

I'm looking for a small brochure that would be printed on A3 paper front and back. So, essentially, offering 4 x A4 pages of information available to landscape.

When I select print settings "Booklet" and 'Automatic Rotation of images within each worksheet' 'Front' page is the right path, as it is the Center pages, but the page back are upside down. Is anyway to "manually turn" pages?

Not with the reader. You need Acrobat for that.

  • Sending a heavy PDF photo for the book on a web press printing.  Convert the first photo in photoshop or Acrobat 11?

    Hello

Printing for our photo book on loons, uses the web roll offset presses.  They asked a pdf X-1 has the value.

First test was light and washed out.  Printer we had increase in saturation and contrast.  Second proof

all photos of our blue water out more purple and blue.

We currently used photos jpeg srgb embedded in a ms word document.  We used acrobat 11 to create the pdf file using the X - 1 request has

    setting.

Should we have converted the photos in photoshop for the setting required first and then incorporated them in word?

    Thanks for any help.

Can you show us the screenshots of your settings of PDF X - 1 (i.e., color)?  The reason why I asked is my default Distiller PDF settings of X1a:2001 use a RGB working space = sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1; and CMYK = us Web Coated (SWOP) v2 with the "color management policies:"Convert all colors to CMYK"(by default); Rendering intent (default value is "Preserve").  Have you discussed these settings with the print service provider?  These parameters, if they are the same in Acrobat 11, seem to have the same working RGB as your original photos to sRGB space based. I have the impression that Word, although not a color managed application, would work as a vector image in Acrobat 11 where image files can keep their caches enter Acrobat 11 and remain intact out 11 Acrobat via a PDF - X1a.  In this case, the print service provider then RIP and print the file to a print on paper. In your case, the previous digital printer has managed to reproduce the photos you provided to them, Word or any word.  The question now is what has changed with this new service provider?  Their prepress people should accept your documents and pushed through their workflow.  So, what has changed? I don't know any way to 'swap' images using Acrobat.  In your case, this may be a matter of saving a second series of files or the entire book as a copy document and replace the pictures in this file and then create a second file PDF - X1a.  And, as a third option, use InDesign (However, no interest to use it until you have determined where the problem with quality).  I guess the printer told you that the sRGB files were sufficient and, if you used PDF X-1 settings when recording as > PDF, what would be their preferred workflow and files image made dull and unsaturated (as they did in your case) and the printer recommended to increase the saturation and HUE of images (which he did) and the entire workflow worked for a digital printer in the past (which she did) then something has changed with this new print service provider.  It must know what it might be them.  It could be something with their direct-to-plate equipment.  I think he deserves more research and development with the new service provider.  There is a solution.  Just find it.

"Once the pdf file is created can I swap in the photos.

for those who had been converted from RGB to CMYK in photoshop with the intention of rendering with Black Point Compensation etc. are responsible. "...

Wait a minute.  You did a conversion of RGB to CMYK in Photoshop?  Why?  I thought that you the RGB files into Word?  Then, Acrobat made the conversion using the above parameters of X - 1.

"How hard it would be to empty my word document in InDesign with photos of RGB or CMYK newly created it would work better?  The learning curve is too much hassle for a large? » ...

Yes, he would.  But, your procedures worked out for the digital printer.  Why not now with the new printer?  That is my question.  Parameters X - 1 Acrobat with a (supposed) sRGB workspace, then your sRGB file should work correctly and they did not.  You must know what works for this new print service provider, and all Photoshop color adjustment RGB working space you use, use it in Acrobat 11.  Discuss the entire document and configurations of Photoshop with the new print service provider.
