  Hello chuck!

  I saw your post on your 7520 Photosmart not print not the header and the foot correctly on your impressions. I suggest you check the preview option before printing before you print the document to see if the program itself is you showing the right format. Please let me know what it is like to preview before printing.

  I have created a book 3 section with each section of an individual indesign file. I have collected them in the book. Can I combine the files and print a booklet of the book using the printed brochure. If not how do I print my booklet

  When I hit print booklet all my images are pixelated when converting to PDF in Acrobat Distiller. The resolution of the images are at least 300 dpi and when I simply export the file images are very clear. However when I print the booklet, they are all pixelated. Any suggestions?

  Check the settings in distiller. Looks like it is set on downsample severely

  I installed a new cartridge HP XL Black in the 7520 Photosmart ten days ago.  Today printing black-and-white text I mostly started to become unreadable - scratched, stained, faint - even if the ink level report about 3/4 full for black (of course, the report itself printed with streaks, etc..) I removed and re-inserted the black cartridge to do it has been placed correctly (it was and it is) and then I ran the proper function of the printer cartridges. The print quality report came back fine (including alignment) except that the black box was scratched. After completing this report in print quality, I tried printing text. The first document of a printed page a bit scratched and erratic low spaces; the second time I printed, it's almost unreadable. Any suggestions?

  I know that you have done the cleaning, but I would recommend that you follow through this document to solve print quality problems by following the steps in this particular order should help the black printing normally.

  I have a Photosmart 7520 and I am trying to locate the product number. None of the examples on the site of HP to find, this is what I have on the UPC sticker on my unit. I have something for the serial number, then a number FPU 5 characters, a dash, and then 5 more.

  When I run the security controls, it does not provide me with the serial number (the two characters on the end) and the first half of the FPU no (a plus character) However, these numbers are placed in the fields of manual control of warranty.  But when I run these numbers using the manual method, the program said that "we were unable to find results that match the information you entered. I tried again by omitting the characters that HP has added, but in vain.

  I'm going in circles, while it should be simple. FYI, I used Windows 7 and connect to the wireless printer.

• Cannot scan multiple pages in the scanner using HP Photosmart 7520 glass

  I recently bought a HP Photosmart 7520.

  I'm pretty happy with it, but my wife has a problem with it that I wasn't able to solve even looking in the HP support sites.

  When scanning using the glass of the scanner in a pdf document, it has no option to add another page. According to the documentation, there should be a + button, but it is not found. There is an option somewhere that I'm missing? Here is a screenshot of preview (in french, sorry):

  In the HP Scan dialog box, reduce the scanning in 300 DPI resolution or lower, then you should see the button "+" to add additional pages.

  For Windows 7, the frivers were already included in Windows, and there is therefore no software to remove.

  In the control panel select devices and sweepers,

  PSC 2410 icon right-click and select remove device, then you should be good to go and install your new printer.

  Have tried several times to reinstall the printer software, has made a new clean install of everything, including the operating system. He spent over 3 hours with HP to fix the problem with no joy. • From Word to PDF format without changing the number of pages

  To develop on the response from Michael Kazlow, the problem is not caused by windows, but rather how Microsoft Office applications format their text. The issue is not just with words, but also with any other application Office as well. In addition, it is not a question of if you create the PDF file using the instance of driver Adobe PDF PostScript printer, but on the contrary, when you compose the document while the instance of Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver is the printer by default/current in Word!

  These applications format text using fonts that are standard to the current output device resolution. For example, if you view a document in Word and the currently selected printer (usually the default printer selected in Windows when you start Word) is a resolution of 600 dpi device, the document is formatted with a space for each character measured in units of 1/600, an inch. If you change the active printer or print to a printer with a resolution different game, Word reformats the document using fonts based on the new resolution. The resolution is 1/1200 inch in the case of the PDF Adobe PostScript printer, default, driver instance. In general, more text fits on a page with text lines long when a higher resolution is used and less text fits on a page with long lines when using a lower resolution. If your default printer is a high resolution, you can see the resolutions up to 2400 dpi, for example.

  Microsoft Office applications are also known to reformat pages based on other parameters such as the printable area.

  These questions just do not affect the creation of PDF, but also print on different devices producing different line endings and pagination.

  To make matters more things, when either you Save to PDF using the ease of creation of PDF of the Office, or even Save as Adobe PDF using Acrobat PDFMaker Office (part of Acrobat) installation uses yet a different mechanism to reformat the page, as productive at the end line inconsistencies and pagination of what you see on the screen or print directly from Word to a particular device. (We don't know exactly what mechanism Microsoft uses in these cases to cause gaps.)

  Office and Adobe users have complained to Microsoft this behavior general for more than 20 years and apparently this isn't any priority to Microsoft to resolve this issue.

  Not really. This is not normal or regular way of working with PDF files, for which edition is a last desperate resort.

  Generally, you can stick once you have selected the right to the tool for editing and selected from the existing text, but there is little useful reflow. You should do all the work in Word if possible.
