  • Appeal of Oracle ADF applications page?

    Hello world

    I have a page of the ADF. Now, I want to call this page of the ADF from Oracle Apps. As we call it page OAF in Oracle Apps in the same way that I want to call the ADF from Oracle Apps page. When you click on the Menu or function in any liability the ADF page must be open.
    Note: The ADF page have url.

    How can I do?
    What are all the possible ways to achieve this requirement?

    Thank you.

    Have you set the profile as recommended option?
    Put the following in the profile option external ADF URL of the Application at the appropriate level (Site, demand, liability, user)
    http://QwertyFrom1.ABC.Corp.com:7001 / SampleReport-ViewController-context-root+.

    Let's not call HTML.

    Call HTML: GWY.jsp? targetPage =http://QwertyFrom1.abc.corp.com:7001/SampleReport-ViewController-context-root/faces/SampleRepotPage.jspx

    Would be appropriate

    * GWY.jsp? targetPage = faces/SampleRepotPage *.

  • Oracle ADF: How to develop a web application to adf with a team of 10 members

    Hello, we need to develop a web application using Oracle ADF and jdeveloper 12 c. It is a great project as we develop this application with a team of members of dimension 10. Our doubts, this is how we can develop a web application using a team.

    Suppose we have 10 modules. Each module was developed by each Member (each Member is using a different system with the same environment. JDeveloper 12 c). Finally to develop all 10 modules how we can combine all 10 modules in a single application. How we can change the links, the page flow and connection details.

    Help, please.

    Thanks in advance.

    ADF is built for the development team. Features such as the ADF libraries, bounded task flows and nested application modules allow developers to work on separate parts of the project and then merge them into a single application.

    Follow the video that Timo has pointed out and read the section of the documentation on reusable components: https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/adf/develop/adf-web-component-reuse.htm#ADFFD1846

    Regarding version control (and track tasks, make automated etc generations) - an option to consider is the Cloud Oracle Developer Service.

    Here is a demonstration of how you team management version on that app JDev/ADF: by using the Service of Cloud Oracle Developer for Git version for JDeveloper/ADF apps management

  • Oracle adf dynamic Scroll tab shell

    Hi all

    I use 11.1.2.4.0, i developed ADF application with shell tab dynamic Oracle JDeveloper.

    the problem is that I have a few pages too large jsff, should I add scrolling to the dynamic tab?

    Kind regards

    If you use a container that can be scrolled if the area is too small, it should work out of the box. Check Oracle ADF: a model with a behavior, if you add a scroll of type panelGroupLayout to the region, it should amine if the tank is too small.

  • < oracle.adf.view > < UnifiedPopupTag > < setVisible > < 'visible' accessor property Set uses a no-op implementation.

    Jdev Version: JDEVADF_11.1.1.7.2ADF - FAREL8 - BP_GENERIC_131030.1412.6661.3

    Click and cancel popup, we see the following in the console:

    < oracle.adf.view > < UnifiedPopupTag > < setVisible > < 'visible' accessor property Set uses a no-op implementation. Used in the extreme cases, when the value of the property, beyond the default value, leads to undesirable behaviors. >

    Is this a problem? If so, suggestions on how to fix?

    Thank you

    R

    This message is a warning that you somehow try to use the setVisible of a popup that does not work as it does nothing. The setVisible() method is obsolete and does nothing but write the message in the log.

    There is not that you can do about it, but to avoid calling setVisible on the popup.

    Do you have somewhere in your code call setVisible on the popup (or use the visible property of the popup on the page?

    The error message to tell you that the page fragments ' done /oracle/rnow/firebolt/pages/workingUnit.jsff refers to a report or a report generator several times. This is not supported in your version. A workflow can only be listed once on a page.

    You see the IDS of components that you should also see if you are using firebug. In the paper, it seems that you iterate some components which in turn the other reference work stream.

  • How to create a generic method to programmatically access the DB sequence in oracle adf

    Hello

    I am trying to create a generic method to access a programmaticall DB Sequence in oracle adf. My version of JDeveloper is 11.1.2.4.

    I created a method getSequenceNumber (String seq) and saved in my application module. Also added to the links of my page.

    I followed the instructions below link for this.

    ADF Code corner: Oracle OTN JDeveloper harvest xx / 2010

    Note: The problem with this approach is that I have to create separate methods to access the different sequence numbers.

    In my managed bean, I wrote the code below to get the method name.

    OperationBinding getNextSequence = ADFUtils.findOperation ("getSequenceNumber");

    How can I pass my sequence DB name to this method?

    Thank you

    What changes are required?

    Please, help me out of this problem!

    Well hosting Cloud Oracle ADF applications is for the ADF * 11.1.1-then you will not be able to deploy an application developed with * 11.1.2 thereon.
    If you don't want to revert to the version support for JDeveloper, I suggest that you look in the other accommodation options.

  • can I install Oracle ADF Essentials on weblogic 10.6 11.1.2.3?

    can I install Oracle ADF Essentials on weblogic 10.6 11.1.2.3?

    What is the difference between ADF Essentials 11.1.2.3 and time of execution of development Application 11.1.1.6 ?

    can I use ADF Essentials 11.1.2.3 instead of execution time of development Application 11.1.1.6 to deploy the application (contains a lot of pages with rich faces and many taskflows and BC4J jsf)?

    I use jdeveloper 11.1.2.3.0 and weblogic installed 10.6 on the Linux server

    Hello.

    The process goes like this:

    1. install 11.1.1.6 on your WLS app development Runtime.
    2. create a field and, possibly, the servers managed
    3. apply patches to install ADF 11.1.2.3

    From the release notes:
    ADF 11 g Release 2 must be installed as a patch on top of a 11.1.1.6.0 existing installation execution of Application development. The steps in the upgrade 11.1.1.6.0 server to run 11.1.2.0.0 ADF applications is described later in these release notes and documented in the Guide to the administrator for Oracle Application Development Framework. (source: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/11gr2update3-1851251.html)

    Detailed instructions and links to the patches are available in this section of the Oracle Support knowledge base: [url https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=1328698.1] how to install the ADF 11 g Release 2 to WebLogic Sever 10.3.5 runtime libraries / 10.3.6? (1328698.1)

  • Size of session causing Oracle ADF viewScope bloat

    I'm sure you know, ADF introduced some additional scopes (pageFlowScope, viewScope and backingBeanScope) on top of the standard JSF ones. Our use of one of the stretches of the ADF, viewScope, seems to be the cause of the size of our session to swell over time.

    Objects that are view scope (for example, our Backing Beans) are managed by the ADF and seem to be put in the session in an org.apache.myfaces.trinidadinternal.application.StateManagerImpl object $PageState. The number of these objects when the session is equal to the org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.CLIENT_STATE_MAX_TOKENS in our web.xml configuration file.

    Once all the chips are 'used', sailing around the application, one of these objects is removed from the session and (should be) garbage collected at some point. However, the recovery of this space is observed much later, after the end of the session. For this reason, what a load of test the application, we see the use of heap space gradually, increasing before causing the JVM to crash.

    Tracking the creation and destruction of our objects is done by adding instructions log in the default constructor and the finalize method (which overrides the finalize on object method). Statements by logging on the creation of objects are visible when we would expect them, but logging of the finalize method statements are seen only after the end of the session. When a garbage collection is triggered using Mission JRocket Oracle control we see the use of heap down significantly, but observe no logging calls the finalize method.

    Anyone got any ideas on why the garbage collector would not be able to recover items from sight after having been removed from the session?

    Thanks in advance.

    P.S. I found already VIEW SCOPE IS NOT RELEASE PROPERLY in ADF which is a closesly related thread, but unfortunately could not use the answers there to solve our problem. I also posted this same question on Stack Overflow (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13380151/lifetime-of-view-scoped-objects-oracle-adf). I'll try and update the two sons if I find a solution.

    Hello

    I tried to reproduce the problem on JDeveloper 11 GR 2 (11.1.2.3), but after 5 minutes to go back and hard, my server does not crash. However, I did some changes to your code. You can try to replicate using the following minor change?

    Instead of
    / * Method to redirect to page two. */
    Public Sub goToPageTwo()
    {
    VR;
    {
    FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ().getExternalContext.redirect ("pageTwo.jspx");
    }
    catch (IOException e)
    {
    e.printStackTrace ();
    }
    }

    I changed it to
    public String button_action() {}
    Return "goPage1";
    }

    where "goPage1" is a case of control flow, I set on my taskflow boundless.

    Thank you

    * my path of the current page is * _
    OA.jsp? page = abhi.oracle.apps.ak.employee.webui.AdbPG & retainAM = Y & TAO printable =_

    Note: Earlier versions of the OA Framework recommended giving the print page button send the ID IcxPrintablePageButton. OA Framework detects this ID and behaves correctly when the user presses the button. Although it works again, new code is based on the approach of facets instead.

    Step 4: Set the property of the _blank target frame button to make sure that the printable page opens in a new window.

    but after doing that, I'm getting below the exception.

    Exception details. _

    oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: the application id, or short name you entered does not exist. _

    I'm new to OFA...
    can someone guide me how this exception can be corrected?

    Hello

    Sorry, wrong forum. It comes to Oracle JDeveloper. OFA related issues are dealt with on the forum of the OFA
