Printer drivers for Windows 7

I got a new laptop with Windows 7 above. I have a printer Canon BJC-85. Yes it's old. I need the printer drivers for Windows 7. I connected the printer to the laptop but nothing happens.

Canon BJC-85 drivers & downloads page has only drivers for Windows XP and earlier versions.  It is probably not possible to use the printer with Windows 7 (or Windows Vista).   :-(

You can try using the Vista drivers. If they do not (or do not exist), your only recourse is to get hold of the gun and see if they have plans to write drivers for these printers (or to replace the printer or the operating system). The mftr material. wrote drivers for their devices. The mftr material. is the * only * person who will do that, not the creator of the operating system that you use (Windows). All hardware drivers that come with Vista and Win7 were written by mftrs of various materials. and provided to Microsoft for inclusion. If the material mftr. no no intend to write new drivers for a specific device, then it's the end of this story. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Obtain printer drivers for Windows 7 and 8

If you have a new Windows 8 PC and you want to connect it to your printer, you may need to install a print driver. You may also need to install a printer driver if you just got a new printer.

While many drivers are integrated in the Windows operating system, you may obtain the latest printer driver for the printer works correctly with your version of Windows.

HP makes it easy to find and install the correct driver with the printer Installation Wizard. Printer Installation Wizard works in Windows 7 and Windows 8. Printer Installation Wizard works by downloading and installing the newest and most appropriate HP software available for your HP printer. All you have to do is download the tool, run it and follow the instructions on the screen. For the tool, go here: HP printer install wizard for Windows.

    NOTES

HP printer Installation Wizard will install a driver of long for your Windows 7 and Windows 8 active product (s). If a long driver is not available, the wizard will direct you to the site HP.com support for the alternative driver options and instructions.

Remember that HP printer Installation Wizard does not support the version of Windows 8 RT for computers or the ARM-based tablets. Installation of additional printing software is not required on that version and HP recommends users use printing features that are already included in Windows 8 RT.

There is no drivers for Windows 7. You could try the Vista ones. If not contact Minolta and see if they plan on making available to them, if there is a workaround solution, etc.. Unfortunately, without a driver, you cannot use the printers. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Color LaserJet Ent M553dn: HP Laserjet Enterprise M553dn PCL6 x 64 drivers for Windows Server 2003

Just bought a HP Laserjet Enterprise M553dn and was able to install the drivers for Windows Server 2003 x 86 driver disc supplied with the printer, but I cannot locate the drivers for Windows Server 2003 x 64.

I checked the site hp.com, but what they have there is PCL5 x 64 drivers, which gives me a 'printer driver is not installed. Message operation could not be completed.

Just for fun, I tried to download the drivers for PCL6 Windows 7 x 64, and trying to set up the printer with these, but it gives me a message "Windows is unable to locate a suitable printer driver.

    Where can I find the Windows Server 2003 PCL6 drivers x 64?

    Thank you!

As any pcl6 driver will work, why not just load any pcl6 64-bit driver that is built into the operating system.  Simply choose hp on the left and choose any color laserjet 64-bit driver on the right.  If none is available, download the driver 64 bit hp universal pcl6.  When loading the driver do not have system autodect the printer but load the driver manually.

  • installation of printer drivers for 3050 on Server 2003

Hi - I have a server Win2K3 I use to publish a desktop remotely with GO-Global.  One of the clients that connects to the server has a printer DeskJet 3050 J611 a series on a 8.1 Windows machine.  We usually use the HP Universal PCL6 driver, but in this case I can't.  It requires a driver on the client-side and server-side to allow printing.

Operating system Windows Server are not supported by the 3050 has, and when I try to install anyway, Setup fails.  I thought I would try to install locally and move the corresponding files on the server but I'm not able to find the records that wrote the driver installation program.

If I can find the installation locations I can move Windows 8.1 drivers on the server to point his printer at home.  Anyone has any suggestions, or do we need to find another printer?

    Thanks - Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,.

You can install the printer locally (via USB or via the wireless network) your PC of Windows 8 client.

The printer is not compatible with any operating system server and there is no drivers for Windows Server 2003, copy all of the files will not solve such that these files are not intended and will not work on a server.

If you want to install and share the printer via a server you will need another printer that is compatible with the operating system.

You can find the drivers of Windows 8 below:

  • Konica Minolta Di1611 drivers for windows 7

    Hello

I have a good Konica Minolta Di1611 printer scanner copier purchased in 2003 only 86 000 best on the clock. I just changed my computer which has windows 7. Windows 7 does not support the copier as Konica Minolta have not upgraded the windows drivers have not left the previous drivers so I can not print from my PC or I can scan and send it to my PC. I understand that costs money to progress, but when printers cost £800.00 to £ 1200.00 to buy it is a bitter pill hard to swallow. Someone out there has managed to find the drivers for this machine which works on windows 7? Is there a way to turn this inextricable situation than buying a whole new model costs more than £1000.00?

Konica is responsible to make drivers for their printers.

If the manufacturers website has no drivers for Windows 7, try to use Windows Update to install the printer drivers:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/find-and-install-printer-drivers

You can also try the latest drivers, they are in compatibility mode - it may or may not work:

    Troubleshoot Compatibility

This can help with some (but not all the) programs/drivers:

    (1) uninstall the program, if it is already installed. Then when install you / reinstall instead of double click on the Setup file, right click and select 'resolve compatibility issues.

    (2) then click on 'Try recommended settings' and in the next window, click on "Start the Program" to install it.

    (3) after he set up see if it works properly. Note: some programs may not be able to run in Windows 7.

More information on how to make older programs in this version of Windows:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

    Try the printer Troubleshooter

    1. open the printer Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button

    2. then click on Control Panel

    3. in the find what box, type troubleshooting

    4. then click on troubleshooting

    5. under hardware and sound, click "use a printer.

I can't tell you something, on the drivers for it. But let me say this:
you compare the cost of running it (a laser printer) with a
Ink Jet. Yes, the laser printer will be much cheaper to
    run, but it's because it's a laser printer, not because it's a
    Lexmark.

And almost all laser printers print better than any inkjet.

If you get a driver for it, you might want to look in the
possibility to buy another laser printer, which has a
Driver Windows 7. I am very happy with my laser - this is a Samsung
CLP-315, but which is a color laser, so it is more expensive to operate than a
    B & W laser.

  • where to get the hp laserjet 6l pro printer driver for windows 7 32 bit

where to get the hp laserjet 6l pro printer driver for windows 7 32 bit.

or if not is there a generic driver that will work for hp laserjet 6l pro printer in a 32-bit windows system 7.

My Windows 7 Professional 64-bit system has a built-in driver (provided by Microsoft) for HP LaserJet 6 L printer; I guess that the 32-bit edition may also provide a driver.

Note that the driver can only appeared after the list of drivers in the Add Printer dialog has been updated by clicking the Windows Update button in this dialogue and in the meantime (maybe several minutes) for drivers to download and list to be filled again.

  • LaserJet pro 400 drivers for Windows 2000

    I have a m451dn color laserjet pro 400 I have purchassed.

One of the systems in my network is a windows 2000 system that is loaded and set up with many programming tools and so on.

I don't want to break this fine computer running system.

I don't want to have to reload everything in a new system.

Simply because it is old, it seems that HP has decided to does not provide not printer drivers for it.

I connected to the printer on the network, the IP address and tried some older printer drivers.

The printer works fine if I don't have a color.

It would be nice to be able to print in color.

Is there a color driver that is compatible with this printer and Windows 2000?

Now that I have fought through, I have a way to make it work

Select another driver from HP - HP Color Laser Jet 4500 worked for me color

go to the printing preferences - paper quality - check the color

go to priferences print, cocument - advanced - options - select color

go to color management - you may need to add a color here profile

I don't know how this is required, but it works now

I had to fix on the printer through the actual IP address
