• ESXi free 6. Might be a stupid question, but how/where to get the license for?

  Every time I try to download and then navigate to the license key for ESXI hypervisor 6.0 free I get redirected to "My wmware" page where I can download / select 'vSphere and vSphere with operations management', but which does not provide me with a license key as just run in a 60 day trial.

  I use Avast free version for my anti-virus software.  This morning I did a full scan and it came back with 1 found threat: Win32: Trojan-gen.  He asked me what I would like to take.  At first I chose it remove but I get an error message saying that action was not executed.  I chose and then move to the chest.  This action was confirmed.  That move "chest" means?  East - identical to a virus threat?  I have to do something more?  TIA

• Probably stupid question of networking

  Alright, I've been beating my head on this fairly long and searching through all of the documents that I can find has not helped.  In fact, I installed vSphere 5.5 on a new Dell server with two connected physical network interface cards.  Using the default vSwitch0 which has been configured, I added two virtual machines to the Group of network port of the virtual computer with one of the physical network adapters.  The problem I encounter is that whenever I start up a virtual computer, it connects to the network very well.  The second machine, however, can't connect to the network.  I have:

  Tried various combinations of DHCP/Static IPs

  Restart networking on both machines (one Ubuntu Linux, the other server Windows 2012)

  * Disabling/renabling tried the options 'Connected' in changing the settings

  * Tried to create a group of separate ports for each virtual machine

  * Tried to create a separate switch

  Tried another Windows 2008 virtual machine

  The behavior is always the same.  If I assign static IP addresses and the ping between the machines, they can both see each other, but the other has begun can not see the network.

  I know that the answer must be stupid, or someone else would have asked it already and I have found out there somewhere in the Google-land...
