  Hello everyone. I just downloaded and installed the 9780 Simulator. I'm checking the browser returns a page correctly, but I can't get the browser to do anything.

  Are you running the MDS Simulator? In the opposite case. try running the MDS Simulator.

  Hello, I uses this simple code to create an icon on the desktop, and then point to an internal URL by invoking the browser of BES.

  This worked great until that code 4.5. Now with Blackberry unit installed on a device 4.5 the default browser to browser unit.

• YouTube gives me problems when using Firefox. The player gives me no answer is only a black screen with no buffering bar.

  When I try to run Java from the Windows DOS command line, I'm running into trouble:

  1. when I run Java from the wrong directory, I get the error error: could not find or load the main class myapp1.

  2. when I'm in the directory 'right' (.../MyApp1/build/classes/myapp1 /, where is the MyApp1.class file), I get the following error:

  Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: MyApp1 (alias: myapp1/MyApp1)

  1. the classpath is not set (when I type echo % CLASSPATH % system returns CLASSPATH).

  2. I also get the same error above when using: > java - cp. MyApp1
  

  (3. I did that the path is correctly defined in the environment variables, by way of Java at the beginning of the chain of path).

  Someone at - it ideas?

  I'm working on an online radio application and I am very disappointed to see that the BB 10.1
  Simulator (10.1.0.1483) does not support the HTTP live streaming of multimedia files (MP3) M3U.

  I get the following message in the log of the device:

  MediaPlayer: prepare::Error attach the input source. URL: ""http://abc.xyzxyz.com:9156 / stream ', "
  error = UnsupportedMediaType

  and also when you try to navigate to the URL in the browser of the Simulator:

  The media file is from and not supported type or could not be loaded. It can not be played.

  I would like to know if the BB 10.2 Simulator supports HTTP live streaming of MP3 files, or do I have to buy a real device?

  Hi @burakk,

  My apologies for the late reply. Unfortunately, for the OS versions on the market to date, support for media playback on the Simulator is very limited. This is mainly due to problems of codecs required license. There is a support very limited no playback video and audio (uncompressed audio files in the WAV only). In later versions of OS Simulator, we might have the software decoding - if that happens, your use case would be satisfied then.

• Z10 accident of browser on the web page

  We have a web application (built using Enyo 2.2) which works well on the PlayBook, but users report that it blocks the browser on the Z10. I don't have a Z10 camera to test with, but I check it also blocks the browser in the Simulator. The accident occurred while the page is loading, for nothing appear. Are there tools that I can use to see what is happening? I tried to use BlackBerry Web Inspector, but it's useless and the page never opens. Besides, that would allow me to see the JS console, but not why the browser hangs.

  If anyone wants to try, the app is available at www.hebrewinhand.com/app/. (The app has now been fixed - see below.)

  I don't think it's the Enyo frame; They claim that the BB10 is a supported platform, and a previous application using Enyo (at www.hebrewinhand.com/shema/) works very well. So I guess it's something I do, but I just can't understand that. The only notable difference between the applications is the complexity of the layout, which is much more in the application that crashes the browser.

  Just a tip, I created a test case basis using the information you have posted. I then ran on our last internal build and it is no longer a problem. I don't have an ETA for this particular version, but it is coming. You don't leave a problem if you have not yet.

• Error when, with audio streaming via HTTP to the Simulator

  I use JDE 4.7 and 8900 Simulator.  I'm trying to listen to an MP3 via http to a blackberry app.  When you use the BufferedPlayBack example screen, I get the following error when the data source is trying to open the connection - "net.rim.device.cldc.io.dns.DNSException: error trying to solve.

  When I enter the same URL in the BlackBerry browser on the Simulator, I get the following error: "the selected server returned an error when you try to respond to your request.

  When I enter the same URL in my web browser in my PC, I am able to stream audio and play with QuickTime.

  Why I get this DNSException on the BB and not on my local PC?  The web engine runs also locally.  I know that the BB Simulator does not support rstp.  The Simulator also not does support streaming over http?

  I found a solution to the question in the thread below.  I increased the connection. MaxNumberOfKBytesToSend = 10240 in the... File MDS\config\rimpublic. Property and so was able to sucessfully stream mp3 to my request.

  I have Muse CC 2015 1.2.44.

  I do the tutorial of web site reagent in which the instructor shows how pin and set breakpoints.

  In this tutorial, she uses Site Preview in the browser as a way to drag the right edge along to see how the layout works in different widths. She has something she calls the browser tool, a little trick with a digital display which gives you the width of the browser, or the width of the page, where you drag it. It is a tiny digital display.

  When I preview, using Chrome, this gadget is not displayed, and the other pages of the site have tabs. Thus, even if the maximum size is set to 1200, the screen is filled.

  Any ideas on what this could be. I tried Firefox and it was worse.

  When you preview the site in a browser, it replicates how it will appear when published. It's something that you will need to add Muse does not add the Chrome extension used in the demo. Browser search width facing Extension Library.

  To display the content in a Firefox tab, it generally takes a plugin. If that's not come with the main installer, it seems that you can use one of them:

  Yesterday I was streaming audio of sky.fm and noticed that the back navigation toolbar arrow no longer and that he has failed since. FF restarting, rebooting the computer, same problem. Private browsing has never been used, i.e. the history file is fine. Using it is the only way to return to a previous page or the site. The visual indication only that the arrow was clicked, the firefox in the tool bar icon fades. All other indications are normal.   Another possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.
